So the plot is…..well we all know the sleeping beauty story……but what if its told by the villains perspective…..yeah thats right…..so remember how I said we know the sleeping beauty story…..well heres the major differences……well we do see Maleficent as a kid, she actually had a pair of wings…..yes she can fly….also she lives in the forest…….anyways……what we find out is that sue falls in love with a human boy…..who’s poor…….and promises they will be together forever………what can possibly go wrong?…..oh right…..many things……later in the future when they are adults…….her friend or lover reunites with her……he seems like he is there to warn her about the king sending an army to kill her….turns out he has other mysterious plans…..he went to maleficiant to kill her because he was promised to be king if he brings back maleficiant wings to the dying king…..no he doesn’t kill her….he just cuts her wings off…….wow what a douchebag….thats painful…….also yeah we know she curses the small baby…we all know the curse…..but this time we know the king is Maleficent ex boyfriend/friend…..also in this film she starts growing close to the small child….I call her small child because I forget her name….nor am I chucking…..so yeah maleficiant is a good guy….

…..she tries removing the curse…but cant…..the curse can only be lifted by true love…..oh if ur thinking the prince kisses sleeping beauty and she wakes up…….wrong!!….he does that but it doesn’t work….huh….instead maleficiant expresses how she grew close to her and cares about her….which wakes her up…

…..anyways in the finale battle …Maleficent turns her pet crow into a dragon….yes thats right she doesn’t turn into a dragon….no she turns her servant bird into a dragon……epic…..oh and forget to mention, in this film maleficiant is allergic to metal……ok…….so the king tries killing her with metal chains …while his army wears metal armor….again what a douchebag…….oh side note…..he went completely mad in this film….while his wife was dying of an illness…he refused to see her….but instead just decided to sit in a room looking at a frame case that has maleficiant wings in it……

…..ok then…..oh and he tries preparing his men to kill maleficiant…again….great…..so anyways in the third act she kills her ex boyfriend….and now maleficiant adopts sleeping beauty….so now she has a daughter…..the end….honestly this is another one of my favorite live action remakes……its a really good decent Disney film….I do like how its from the point of view from the villain…..I recommend this…..im gonna give this film a solid 9/10
