So the plot is in the beginning we see Blade trying to entire a vampire nest to save Abraham Whistler (before u ask how’s he alive……answer is….retcon)…..but I don’t mind this retcon…..so apparently he didn’t die when he shot himself…and the vamps took him to there hiding place…..so Blade takes Whistler back to there hideout and there we get introduced to Blades new recruit named Scud (played by Norman Reedus) (yeah thats right…walking dead actor Norman Reedus is in this film…honestly that was one of the many highlights in this film)… oh i should mention this film isn’t made by the same director as the first film…this film is made by Guillermo Del Toro…..BTW I recommend u should see his Hellboy film and Hellboy 2 film…there great…he’s a great director,  also when it comes to details and colors in his films…he proves to the be the master of that as well….oh and Ron Perlman is in this film….(makes sense……he and Del Toro have worked together before…in Hellboy…..yeah Ron Perlman played Hellboy….so I don’t find it out that a Del Toro film will have Ron Perlman in it)…..so anyways back to the story….I should say in this film Whistler acts like a d-bag…he complains quite a bit and on top of that he keeps on fighting with Norman Reedus character…..they both don’t see eye to eye…also I should mention the bad guys in this film….a vampire lord hires Blade and his men to hunt down a threat that will and can kill vampires……but don’t worry there are 2 major twists at the end of this film…Will get to that later……so yes as u can see a vampire lord hires Blade and his men……the vampire lord sends his daughter …along side with Ron Perlman and his crew of vampires ( yes Ron Perlman is a vampire in this film)…..also Blade puts an explosive button in the back of Ron Perlman characters head for in case he does anything out of line….he Threatens to blow him up if he does anything out of line…so anyways they all team up….if ur wondering what the threat is ….its a new species that are hard to kill…..we find out a bit later they can only be killed by bright lights….so they go to hunt down these creatures……while Scud stays behind in the van they brought…because as he says later….im a lover not a fighter…..so anyways they encounter those creatures…..one of there team members who a vampire gets bitten by the creature…and does become one later……uh oh…..anyways the way they finds out bright light kills these creatures only is well because one of them attacks Scud in his van…and he manages to turn on the lights on the car which burns and kills the creatures….have u not figured out that these creatures are advanced vampires…think about it…infection by bite……dies by bright light….yeah so there dealing with advanced vampires….so anyways they decide to go into the sewers…after recruiting  back to Blades hide out, this is where Scud and Whistler team up and build bright light bombs for the main characters….so anyways  then they go to thr sewers…where these creatures are in….down there…..Blade blows up the bright bombs that Scud and Whistler made for them….Ron Perlman and his group best up Whistler…turns out their evil…..shocker….so we find out why soon….so it turns out the creature there sent down to kill is well the vampire lords son…thats right he experimented on his own son….such a great father…oh and he didn’t tell his daughter about this….and no he didn’t tell her about his group double crossing Blade and his men….so yeah vampire lord and Ron Perlman is evil….again shocker….but not really…they are vampires….so then Blade tries blowing up Ron Perlmans character….but then uh oh here’s the second twist….Scud is working for the vampires and he said the bomb he implanted in Ron Perlman head is a dud….(yes Norman Reedus is a bad guy in this film as well….ok that I didn’t see coming)….but Blade of course says I’ve been on to u from the start, and 2 it is not a dud…and he pulls put the real remote and blows up Scud….because Ron Perlman took it out of his head and handed it to Scud…so thats bye bye Scud….I do like what Whistler says….”oh I was starting to like the kid”…..

…..also we find out the vampire lord needs blades blood to use to enhance his experiment to enhance vampires….again with the whole using blades blood….its now getting old…so Whistler this time saves blade…..and tosses Blade into a pool of blood where it gives him his energy back…and he gifts against Ron Perlman….in a sword fight…..right forget to mention Blades main weapon is a Katana….fight ends with Blade cutting Ron Perlman in half…….yikes and eww…brutal…..also if ur wondering what happens to the vampire lord…his son kills him…then Blade gets into a battle and fights against the vampires son…..and his sister get injured because if I remember….she helps Blade kill her brother…..anyways Blade kills the creature…and while the vampires daughter is dying….she asks him to take her onto the porch so she can see the sunrise…she does and burns away……happy-Ish….ending i guess…vampires dead….Blade and Whistler still alive……the end….honestly I think I prefer this one over the first one….its a step up and doesn’t have horrible CGI….and come on Norman Reedus and Ron Perlman are of course the highlight of this film….honestly I recommend this film as well….km gonna give Blade 2 a solid 10/10
