So i’m gonna start off with saying these are gonna be short reviews that will have spoilers…..also I should warn majority of u…these 3 movies are not for the faint of heart….basically its about a guy named Blade who’s half vampire and half human….aka a Day-Walker…..he goes around and hunts and kills vampires….so yeah thats basically a small premise….also this film series is rated R…..for cussing of course…and strong amount of bloody gory violence….yeah u know the usual for a hard R violent vampire hunting down film…..so basically the plot is….well straight away in the beginning we get introduced to how gory this film is…..Blade (played by Wesley Snipes) enters a vampire night club…where there dancing while Blood is pouring all over the vampire’s….the blood is well coming out of one of those (I don’t know what there called…its those  Ceiling things that water comes out of when a fire happens)…..so anyways Blade starts killing the vampires brutally…….except for one vampire named Quinn (played by Donal Logue)…who he throws knives at to pin it to the wall….then he burns the vampire…..yes don’t worry we do see the burnt corpse …I say corpse very loosely…because he comes back to life and bites a nurse….who yes is now infected  ….luckily Blade shows up to that hospital…he takes her and brings him to his secret base…which is at a car reparation place…..there we get introduced to a guy named Abraham Whistler (played by Kris Kristofferson)…..to give some idea what his character is like….he’s a bit tough,  doesn’t show emotions….and he saved Blade when he was just a baby….yeah he was left behind as a baby….his mother died giving birth to him……how sad……here we find out Blade needs to be injected with human blood mixed with a serum…to tone down his urge for blood….oh and he’s like the tough brooding guy….who dresses in all black…..black shirt….black leather trench coat, black pants, black vest….black fingerless gloves…and lastly sun glasses…..oh BTW I don’t care what people say when they say black panther is the first black superhero and that Deadpool is the first rated R marvel superhero film…..wrong no….Blade is both the first rated R superhero marvel film and first black dude superhero film…..so anyways skipping a bit, we get introduced to the villian Deacon Frost (played by Stephen Dorff)…..how to describe his character….he looks like a goth person who u would find at Hot Topic…..yeah same problem with the villain from Ghost Rider…..how do I say this late 1990s to early 2000s…..making ur villians look like a Hot Topic reject….doesn’t make him menacing or intimidating……it just makes them look like they have major issues…..like the type where u would need a psychiatrist to help…..his plan is to find a secret room….Sacrifice vampire lords…..to consume their souls and become invincible…..hm funny doesn’t this sound familiar….oh yeah Hot Topic man from Ghost Rider….his motivation was to consume souls to become powerful….wow….ok that’s just lazy…..that Ghost Rider ripped off the plot from Blade……sigh ok whatever lets move on…..Blade and the nurse he saves (who does become love interest)….they team up…for a bit they bicker….because somehow in this form of cliché….thats always a sign both characters love each other?….idk…I never understood that cliche….it makes no sense….does Hollywood think people who are in love with each other means they must bicker a lot first?…..I mean I’m not export but if u argue a lot with someone like a woman (or man) I don’t judge….I don’t think thats a sign of love…..anyways so Blade and the nurse encounter the vampire named Quinn…..he does start beating up Blade…….and then Blade cuts off the vampires arm……don’t worry that regenerates later…….ok skipping a bit because I kinda forgot what happens right after this….a little bit later while Blade is out and the nurse is with Abraham Whistler at there car construction place…….and the Hot Topic reject villian and his goons come in and kidnap the nurse…..oh they also kill Abraham Whistler……so then Blade comes back and the nurse is gone and he finds Abraham Whistler bleeding to death……he asks Blade for a gun to out himself out of his misery…because he did get bitten…and doesn’t want to turn into a vamp….of course we for first time see Blade show some Emotion…..he’s sad….so now we’re into the third act…..he goes to the secret evil place…..but of course it’s a trap….they need Blades blood to power up the the pullers that will give Deacon his powers…..oh forget to mention….he also finds out his mother is still alive….she’s now a vampire….and no she ain’t a good person. ..she’s in the evil side…..we also find out Deacon was the one who bite Blades mother…..so besides that the nurse escapes her cell and frees Blade…….then he kills his vampire mother……then he goes and faces against Deacon…….to late he now has the souls in his body and can regenerate…..BTW this is when the CGI becomes horrible….I wish I was kidding….it looks outdated….the affects earlier was great….granted they used barely any CGI…like none earlier…..so the fight ends with Blade ejecting the villain with some serums he made…..which blows up the villain……so yeah day is saved the vamps are dead….the end ….honestly I really liked this movie alot….I recommend it to people who can stand Hard R rated films……its a good film….just like how Robert Downy Jr was born to play iron man….Wesley Snipes was born to play the role Blade…..so anyways I’m gonna give this film a solid 9.8/10
