So im gonna start off with saying i do enjoy this movie,  but it does have flaws…….ok hear me out…..so as an overall story…I liked it…..basically u know the story….a spoiled prince gets turned into a beast, by a witch…he’s cursed to be a beast till he finds someone to fall in love with him…..then one day a woman named Bella,  gets captured by the beast in his castle….they fall in love…..so yeah thats the story….in a nut shell…so now time to get to what I liked and what I hated…..well lets start with the likes…….I’ve the casting choice…….we got Emma Watson as Bella……Ewan McGregor as Lumiere……Emma Thompson as Potts….Ian McKellen as Cogsworth…..Luke Evans as Gaston…..and lastly Josh Gad as LeFou……like I said great casting…..also the CGI is great…..the scenery is great……the album is catchy……now on to the bad….I don’t think Emma Watson can sing….they had to dub her singing voice in the editing room…..because it’s quite obvious…..then there’s the new design of beast…and oh boy where do I begin…..I hate this design…….I don’t get the changes…..this beast….has hooves for feet….has bigger and curly horns…..don’t ask…and an uncanny humanoid beast face…..again I hate this new design…..wish they sticked with the original films design…..then there the second act of this film ….ill get out of the way and say I do have one favorite scene….its this scene…its the be our guest song scene…

The part of the second act that I didn’t like was a newly added scene….where beats uses his magical mirror to Teleport them to the past…don’t even ask …..thats never been a thing in this film……and what do we find out in this scene?…well we find out that Bella mother died from a plague…when Bella was a baby…and there where plague doctors watching over the mother….I mean cool…thats depressing….but what does this have to do with the overall story of this film?….this adds nothing to the overall story….it serves no purpose….oh wait it does….its just hear to pan out the runtime……my bad….…..oh and here’s another thing I don’t like…in the original film…when Bella takes in the situation she’s in…u know captured by a beast in a castle…alone….she does break down into tears…and generally looks shocked….see that’s understandable….but this Bella ….um just…she doesn’t do anything…she just walks around looks at stuff with an expression on her face as if she’s thinking….hm yeah oh that looks nice….oh yeah this is all normal….oh hey that’s some nice curtains….oh what’s that?….these objects can talk because there servants turned into items…well of course they are…besides this is completely normal….…..heheheh..

..emote!……Bella?….do u know how?….so anyways….what I did like is they kept the villain the same was as he was in the original film…..so props to them on that…..also heres another thing that doesn’t make any sense….the towns folks arrest Bella dad…because they think he’s loony…for mentioning a beast that no one believes….yet then those same folks decide to go do a riot with Gaston against the beast they don’t believe in..….do u see what I mean…something just doesn’t add up here….this is dumb….but overall I actually liked this film…..its again one of my favorite Disney live action remakes…..I recommend giving it a watch…gonna give this film a solid 8.5/10
