Yes, another Star Wars game. Yes yes, I know. What a shocker.

So what’s this game even about?
Well, good news—this review won’t be needing any plot rundown because this game doesn’t have a plot.

🏁 What You Actually Do

So this game boils down to: you can play as any podracer you want, and you race against other podracers on multiple maps.

No, that’s essentially it. There’s no story here except you race against racers. Nothing else much to say.

🧰 Upgrade or Regret It

Except for—you can get points to upgrade parts of your racer.
Each map, the difficulty does get a bit harder.

BTW don’t make the same mistake as me: upgrade your pod every chance you get because I forgot to do that and now I’m on a later level and struggling to get past it because on this map everyone else is somehow faster than me.

Yeah, don’t make the same mistake I did. Learn from my failures when it comes to gaming.

📦 Low-Def But Not the Worst

The last thing I’ll mention—the graphics aren’t the best.
The graphics are essentially a lot of sharp edges and polygons.

Not saying that’s a bad thing, it’s just a thing.
Also, the best way I can describe this game is: essentially that Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga level, but now stretched out into a full game.

❄️ Snow Map for the Win

My favorite level, however, has got to be the snow-themed map.
I just like snow. Always have. Especially in video games.

🧠 When You Don’t Wanna Think

Still, I recommend this game.
It may not have any plot, but it’s the type of game to just plop on and play if you don’t want to play a game that makes you think too hard or do puzzles.

So what rating will I give this game?
Well, in all honesty, I’ll give this game a solid 8/10.

It’s a fun racing game.

But yeah… that’s about it. It’s only racing. Don’t expect anything wild.

Also, the graphics, as I said, haven’t aged all that well—but for me, that’s not an issue.

I’m less picky when it comes to old games.
Heck, I prefer old games over newer games more often than not.
And no, I’m not letting nostalgia blind me because I didn’t grow up with this game.
