so id like to start of with the trailer for this film….and to give a bit of context on what the ghost rider is……he’s basically the devils bounty hunter…..before u ask who he….well I say he because this version of ghost rider is named Johnny Blaze….and well in the comics multiple people thought each comic…became the ghost rider….so this version the movie is based on, is based around Johnny Blaze…so here’s the trailer

So the plot of this film is, well back then a young teenager named Johnny Blaze is a Daredevil ( I hope I used the right word, I’m not sure….they both do stunt performances of riding a motorcycle over vehicles)…anyways his dad is dying of cancer….because of course he is, so the devil aka Mephisto…which is marvels version of the devil (played by Peter Fonda) offers to Johnny that he can cure his fathers cancer….for a price…oh and Johnny Blaze has to sign a paper with blood….is he a moron?…because if I had to sign a contract with blood i would be questioning this….but he doesn’t…..ah well…..so anyways next day his father is cured…….but if ur wondering is something bad going to happen?…well of course…..its the devil….if u make a deal with the devil things will go wrong….anyways during his next stunt….his father crashes and dies…..because devil found loop hole in the deal he made….so now Johnny Blaze is made….I would be as well…but the devil basically tells him oh well….and one day I’m gonna come back and have u hold up ur end of the deal…..if ur wondering what the deal is…well get to that later…also Johnny Blaze leaves behind his girlfriend named Roxanne…..and no he doesn’t give her any reason why he did that…he just rides off without saying anything….yikes…so anyways in the future, Johnny Blaze is now an adult (and now he’s played by Nicholas Cage), and he’s a Daredevil…..anyways let’s skip a bit….his ex Girlfriend Roxanne (played by Eva Mendez), comes back into his life…she’s now a news reporter…and yes he does ask her out…..and yes she does except it…so now he has another chance to date her….nice…..so anyways we get introduced to our main villian named BlackHeart…(played by Wes Bently), BTW I want to take this time and tell u I hate the way this villian looks like…..he doesn’t look evil….he looks like an Angsty Goth teen u would find at Hot-Topic…..ah uh ah uhhhhhh…..I don’t get it?….did marvel movies back then think making their villains look like they came from Hot-Topic, is the best decision?….because even the Blade movie did that as well…..it doesn’t set up or make a good villain….infact it just taints the film a bit because villain looks dumb….no hate towards goth people…but ur main villain to a superhero film or any film…shouldn’t look like an Angsty Goth teen……so anyways he after a Mcguffin called the something something ( I forget,  its a scroll….thats all I remember….its a Mcguffin)….oh great a Mcguffin type story…..lovely …..….so anyways we find out he is the devils son…and devil can’t stop him yet he does get close to his son and talk to him……but nope he can’t defeat his son and he needs ghost rider to kill his son….why?…because script says so…..so anyways right before Johnny goes onto his date…the devil comes and tells him hey I’m gonna need u to kill mt son and make sure he doesn’t get the scroll contract thingy….and before u ask does he have a choice….no he doesn’t….so anyways we do see Johnny turn into the ghost rider…and oh boy u need to see this clip

This is what i like to call Nick Cage being at his most Cagiest…..get it….Craziest mixed with his last name…..hehehe I’m clever…..so anyways after this weird transformation…..BlackHeart comes our of the dark and he sends his goons onto ghost rider….BTW I love the way ghost rider looks like…he looks comic book accurate…..ill give them props there…..he looks comic book accurate…..and the CGI ain’t bad…anyways so BlackHeart has goons…who are earth, water and wind…..and they look about as much intimidating as BlackHeart…..which means they don’t look menacing at all…..also if ur wondering what BlackHeart evil motivations is….its because his father didn’t give him the contract, what is properly his…..oh whaaa whaaaa whaaa. …seriously this villian is basically a petulant teenager……….oh BTW id like to mention that Nicholas Cage in this film is so bizzare….at one moment he pours jellybeans in a margarita cup….then he sits down and watches TV of a monkey doing karate….….yeah I wish I was kidding….anyways back to ghost rider fight….he gets his butt kicked….don’t know how…he’s the devils bounty hunter…..I guess his weakness is being hit by a truck….because thats what happens…..anyways ghost rider does kill the earth demon character by using his fire chain whip……….ok that’s pretty dang sick

….also that night he uses his penance stare which is something that can be used to destroy peoples souls…..its a useful and cool ability….keep that ability in mind…he uses it on a gangster guy….a random gangster guy. …so let’s skip a bit next day he wakes up in a cemetery and he bumps into a guy named the caretaker (played by Sam Elliott)….and alot of exposition happens…..blah blah…..oh and in this movie we are told of the original ghost rider whos name is Carter Slade…….its the caretaker…..sorry for the spoiler…but it’s obvious because we get an narration from him in the beginning and he’s voiced by Sam Elliott….and Sam Elliott plays the Caretaker…..idk how u couldn’t tell its him…u would have to be dull minded to nor put that together….well it doesn’t even take putting 2 and 2 together….its like this film sucks at doing plot twists….because u don’t do a narration of that guy…in the beginning then have that same actor appetite in the film…..and talk vaguely at moments……so yeah its obvious it is him….so anyways Johnny Blaze gets arrested because..just because the cops think he’s been causing the damage throughout the city….and then we do get this epic scene 

Yeah thats right he turns into ghost rider in his cell and he takes a leather jacket from a Goon…..ok I liked this scene……so anyways he breaks out and he chases down the wind demon and he kills it by swirling his fire chain…..

  A mediately that is pretty cool…..so anyways so now Roxanne knows Johnny was telling the truth when he said to her sorry for not showing up to our dinner date because the devil owns my soul and made me hunt down his son….ok cool….but still….anyways let’s get to the third act, so Angsty Goth teen tells ghost rider to bring him the contract…..yes he does kidnap Roxanne,  to make sure Johnny will do it……oh BTW ghost rider does try killing the villain, but since he has no soul……that means ghost rider penance stare doesn’t work…..so anyways Johnny goes to the caretaker and he asks for the contract …which he had the whole time in his shovel….convenient….and now he reveals he is Carter Slade…..nooooo, u don’t say….…..I thought u were just some random dude…..….and yes he does get on his horse and turns into the ghost rider and a freaking awesome scene happens

That’s right both ghost riders riding side by side in the desert during sun rise…how epic!…can’t wait for them to fight together against Hot-Topic teen…..oh wait what?

….he could only uses one more transformation and he used it to ride….…

Wow, just wow movie!!…u wasted his last ability on a ride…..instead of I don’t know..

Battle!!?…so anyways the finale battle happens in a graveyard….and just ehhhh….this happens watch this clip all the way to the end

Hahhahahahah,  oh wait were supposed to find that scary…..hold on…uh…..hahahahahahahahha!!!..seriously,  am I supposed to find this scary?…looks like a poorly rendered Snap chat filter u would use…..this is supposed to be our scary bad guy?…..anyways so the film ends with ghost rider using the penance stare on Hot-Topic…because now he has a thousand souls….wow u really didn’t think that one through, didn’t u mr Hot-Topic?..

.also its saying something when ghost rider is using an ability to kill the main villain,  that he used on a random gangster guy earlier…is very anti-climatic…..anyways the devil appears and he offers to take the curse away….Johnny Blaze refuses to …so he can use his powers to stop the devil……the devil screams no and vanishes….why doesn’t the devil just take away Johnny’s powers so he can’t use it to kill him…is beyond me….so the end….honestly if u think I hate this film….I do not….I find it to be a guilty pleasure…..i find it to be funny….might have to do with Nick Cage being well himself….its so bizarre….
