So the plot of this film is, we get introduced to John Conner….who is a kid in this film…..side note usually kid actors in films are annoying…..but this kid actor isn’t…..the actor did a great job in my opinion…..so he’s being raised by a different family because his mother Sarah Conners got put into the mental institution…..because they think she’s nuts…..anyways so future John Conner sends a reprogrammed Arnold Schwarzenegger Terminator to save John Conner….yeah that right….Arnold Schwarzenegger is a good guy in this film……I actually liked that…..anyways Skynet sends a Terminator to kill John Conners….this time its a new Terminator thats a liquid Terminator…..meaning he’s made of metallic liquid…..and can shape shift…and walk through objects…oh and its hard to kill this Terminator……basically only to kill it …is by melting it with lava……like in a smelting factory…..but ill get to that later…..so yeah of the bat we know this Terminator is more dangerous……so anyways u know the procedure….Arnold Schwarzenegger gets someone’s clothing…this time from a bar….and he steels a motorcycle and a shotgun….epic!…..oh and he’s wearing a black leather jacket and sun glasses….he finds John…..saves him…..a chase scene happens….Arnold tells John what is going on that future himself sends him to the past to save past himself….anyways he wants to tell his adopted mom that he’s fine…they try calling her but here we find out the evil Terminator can mimic voices….heck he kills the adopted mother…anyways after this they go break out Sarah Conners…….and she ain’t happy …because 1. She wants her son to be safe..2. Because she sees Arnold Schwarzenegger Terminator….and remember she got attacked by a Terminator in T1 that looks like Arnold Schwarzenegger……he does explain he’s reprogrammed…….so anyways they escape …..evil Terminator chases them…..they get to a safe place….oh right side note I should tell u what else makes this evil Terminator menacing…he takes the form of a cop….which is scarier because the idea that a police man can be the threat….so back to it…..so when they get to a safe place ….John takes the chip out of Arnold’s head……so he can reprogram it….so he can learn to have some emotions……Sarah Conners tries destroying the chip….but John stops her…..so anyways in the third act…they must go stop a scientist dude who works at Skynet….because what he’s doing will cause the extention of humans…but he thinks he’s doing something that will save humanity….so Sarah takes that is well got to go kill him…so she leaves and tries to but she cant….because he has a family…..John and Arnold come and tell the scientist what will happen if he continues his work…..anyways he agrees to help them destroy his work…so they sneak into his building….start burning the files….oh cops come and John Conners tells him not to kill them….he doesn’t but he does shoot at their cars to scare them…..anyways so evil Terminator comes…..they blow up the building….a car chase happens…they drive to a smelting factory…..oh the scientist dude is dead…he blew up in the building…..so final fight happens in smelting factory……fight ends with Arnold or someone I forget…pushing evil Terminator in the lava…and Arnold says Asta lavista baby…which is another iconic line from him….where he learned that line….was from John Conners earlier in the film….heck he teaches him how to smile…aww thats sweet……anyways Arnold does sacrifice himself to finish his mission…he says all Terminators won’t be dead till I die….so he has John Conners give him permission to die…John doesn’t want this because he now grew a connection to Arnold….but of course Arnold Schwarzenegger Terminator does die he lowers himself into the lava and he gives a last thumbs up before fully emerging into the lava….now day is saved and Sarah and John are still alive…so anyways I freaking love this film…..its great…I highly recommend it…and the comedy is on point….meaning it’s well balanced out….im going to give T2 a solid 10/10
