Oh right I forgot about this…..ok before I got into my review, which spoiler alert, this show is actually really good…..I wanna show y’all the trailer enjoy
🧠 Anthology, But Not Really
So this show is an anthology series where each episode tells its own story… about different Jedis in different time periods. Well, kinda. That’s how they promoted it, but what it ends up focusing on is two people: Ahsoka (shocker) and Count Dooku before he turned evil.
I won’t say much yet but he’s my favorite part of this show. I’ll explain why later.
Also the other issue with this series is that each episode is way too short. Like 15 to 18 minutes long. Yeah. That short. A little too short if you ask me.
Also yes, this show—just like Bad Batch—uses the same animation as The Clone Wars, so in a way, we can connect these side projects to Clone Wars and say they are DLC.
So now let’s get the rating out of the way, overall I liked this show, not loved but liked. The thing that holds back from me loving it is the Ahsoka parts, Feloni cannot let this character go for the life of him. She’s everywhere. All the time. In everything. We get it. You love her. Maybe chill for a second?
🌟 Final Rating: 8/10
⚠️ Spoiler Alert — Y’all Been Warned ⚠️
Time to let’s talk about my favorite arc.
🧙♂️ Count Dooku’s Downfall
We get to gradually see his decline in the span of three episodes. We see him ever so slightly tilt toward the dark side—doing things like force-choking people and other shady stuff.
But what really pushed him over the cliff is when his apprentice, Qui-Gon, dies at the hands of Darth Maul.
We see him sitting under the cherry tree that Qui-Gon would go to pray to. It’s just… oof. You feel the weight.
Then his friend Yaddle (yes, a female Yoda) shows up to comfort him. But Dooku just walks away. He’s already slipping.
Later, he talks to Darth Sidious and tells him how pissed he is that his master’s apprentice killed his apprentice.
You can tell Dooku isn’t fully committed to the dark side but is willing to go over to that side because, in his mind, the Jedi are weak and the dark side is the path to peace.
See this right here, this is what I have been looking for in the portrayal of Count Dooku – a fully fleshed out, three-dimensional character, not just a mustache-twirling uni-dimensional villain.
⚔️ Yaddle vs. Dooku
Anyway, Yaddle finds out Dooku’s working with Sidious, and she tries to pull him back. She’s like, “Look, I’ve had doubts too. The Jedi Order isn’t perfect. But you don’t have to go full evil here.”
And I love this. I love seeing a Jedi not blindly following the code. A Jedi who’s being a friend first.
Because seriously, there’s legit doubt to have, the Jedi order is flawed.
Eventually, they get into a lightsaber battle, and Dooku traps Yaddle under a door. Before he kills her off, she literally forgives him and says she doesn’t blame him for what he’s about to do.
ughhhhh my heart feels like it’s been torn.
Show, you made me feel something positive about Star Wars again. The writing is amazing.
And then—yeah. He kills her.
The end—that’s it.
Now if y’all excuse me, I’m gonna go cry in the shower alone.
Overall? I liked this show. Not loved—but liked. It would’ve been higher if they didn’t shove Ahsoka into everything like a pop-up ad.
But Count Dooku’s arc? Beautiful. Dark. Tragic. Just the way I like it.
💧On the Jarrodism Meter, this one is close to Making Me Feel Moisty.

Anyway, hope y’all enjoyed this review. ’Til next time. And May the 4th be with y’all.
