Let’s start off with a trailer:

So most of you guys probably know the plot of this movie already: it’s about a boy named Peter Pan, who can fly and never grows up. He and his pixie friend Tinker Bell meet a girl named Wendy and her younger brothers, and invite them to come to Neverland. Not long after arriving, the kids go off exploring, only to run into a tribe of ‘Native Americans’ (not sure what else to call them, but Neverland isn’t America) who think they’re responsible for kidnapping the chief’s daughter Tiger Lily. Peter and Wendy rescue Tiger Lily, and they along with the Lost Boys join the tribe in a celebration.

Meanwhile, the villainous Captain Hook and his bumbling sidekick Same are plotting to kill Peter, because Peter cut off Hook’s hand and fed it to the crocodile…..yeah understandable why he hates Pan…..anyways theres also Tinker Bell, who is jealous of the attention Wendy is receiving from Peter, tips them off as to where Peter and friends are. Hook blows up Peter’s hideout, abducting the Lost Boys, Wendy, and her brothers. Naturally, Peter flies to the rescue, and after a fight, Hook has to flee from the crocodile, who’s looking for another bite while Wendy and her brothers return home.

I also wanna quickly mention my ups and downs with this film

Positives: well the plot is intriguing, I like the main characters…..captain Hook has always been one of my favorite classic Disney villains…….I enjoyed the comedy in this film, I especially loved the scenes of when the crocodile is hunting down Captain Hook

Negatives: this film is racist as heck, because of one big key element…..it depicted the Native Indians in the most stereotyped way u could possibly think…..yeah that didn’t age well

Frankly, I think the way the ‘Native Americans’ were depicted is offensive and racist, but I still like it otherwise. I’m gonna give this movie a 7/10.
