Scooby-Doo and where’s my Mummy:

Ok firstly I know this film isn’t everyone’s favorite but it’s a guilty pleasure of mine…..so let’s get into the review shall we? But first the trailers.

Also here’s the first 10 min to get y’all hooked.

Yay another review taking place in Egypt, I’m happy. So what’s the plot rundown?

Well glad y’all asked, so the gang finally goes to Egypt. Yes, where they meet up with Velma who was already there on an expedition with this guy named (I forget his name, let’s call him generic guy), so they are there to locate and protect a hidden tomb from good tourists or anyone who wants to come there to Rob the tomb of Cleopatra. Yes, that Cleopatra.

Unfortunately, there’s this woman named Amelia von Butch Is here to find the crown of Cleopatra and take it, womp womp.

Luckily we have people who are here to protect the tomb such as this man named Amahl Ali Akbar.

Wait a minute, a person who’s there to protect the tomb from being touched? Where have I seen this before? (Cough cough The Mummy) Hmm that was weird, I think I just got a slight cough of cliche-itus.

Anyways so the gang goes down to the tombs with Velma, unfortunately, a curse gets released and Velma is the first victim. She’s turned into stone, which is the curse. No not Velma, is this curse legit or a fauce? All will be revealed later.

But the gang does stumble into this reanimated Cleopatra and her army of the undead, sorry meant mummies.

Will the gang save Velma? Will they prevent the spoiled woman thief from taking the crown? Is this curse a fake? All will be revealed in the spoilers, for now, let’s get the rating out of the way.

Overall yeah this film getting a 10/10, told y’all before I love Egypt, and I love Scooby-Doo, so yeah of course I’m gonna love this film. Warning spoilers ahead y’all been warned ⚠️.

Time to spoil the 3rd act and any revaluations, so come the third act the evil woman gets captured in a trap that’s set for her when she gets outside with the crown, which a crow steals from her.

As the inside of the tombs is flooded, the gang space on a boat along with Cleopatra. Don’t ask me why’s she steering the boat as well.

So the boat comes flying out the side of the pyramids and lands in a lake, now it’s time to unmask the mummy and see who is underneath the mask, and it’s Velma!?

I’m sorry what!? What the heck is going on here!? Oh and Cleopatra right-hand man shows up over a cliff and takes off his mask, and it’s Velmas’ expedition friend.

Ok, seriously what’s going on here? So it turns out this was all one giant farce to scare any archeologists or tourists away from the tomb, to keep it hidden. And to keep the spirits at rest.

Actually, this is an extremely noble thing to do, also here’s the scene showcasing their full plan.

Anwyays a happy ending, no one gets hurt (except maybe emotionally and Psychologically) and the treasure of Cleopatra will stay forever hidden and buried away from any thieves.
