The Cecil Hotel: yeah we’re taking a look today at this tragedy of a story,
Be warned ⚠️, these stories I’m about to tell will not be for the faint of heart or children, leave if u must or stay at ur own risk.
Especially since this one is based on a true story that happened, so what are urban legends around The Cecil Hotel?
Well glad y’all asked, The Cecil Hotel in LA has a notorious reputation for violence, suicide, and murder, fueled by a series of tragic events, including the unsolved murder of Elisa Lam, which has become a prominent urban legend.
If u ask me they should have shut down this Hotel years ago before the infamous unsolved tragedy happened, and today we’ll be focusing on that unsolved tragedy.
Let’s take a look at the disappearance of Elisa Lam, so the story goes on a specific day she was caught on camera that’s in the elevator, where it showed her running from something.
As the elevator opened, she went in it and kept pressing buttons while looking around each corner as if she was hiding from someone or something.
For some reason, the elevator door isn’t closing, no matter how many buttons she presses.
After a while of pushing buttons and hiding in the elevator, she decided to leave. As she left the elevator door closed (seriously?) And she was never seen again. Well ok, she was but she wasn’t seen again alive! Boooooo.
Yeah, so she was unfortunately found dead in the water tower on the roof after many customers complained about the water in their sinks and showers coming out brown, and gross.
So they sent a maintenance guy up there to investigate, and what they found was a rotting dead body who’s naked, turns out the body was of that missing woman.
To this day it’s uncertain how she died, but according to the Netflix documentary “it was all an accident, her death was accidental”.
Accidental huh? Well sure I’d believe that but there are still a few things unanswered to this day.
1. What the heck was she hiding from? Because on the footage it looked like she was hiding? Was she on drugs?
2. Why didn’t the elevator door close even after she pushed the buttons multiple times?
3. Why did the elevator door close once she left and not while she was inside?
4. How did she get into the water tower? Because get this the lid is extremely hard to pride open, it would take more than 1 man to open it.
Also, there’s a latch on the water tower, so again how did she get inside? But here’s the kicker. When the maintenance guy opened up the lid, the latch was still there and locked.
Uh-huh, so unless she somehow miraculously was able to pride open the lid along with opening the lock without a key, then get inside, proceed to close the lid, and put the lock back on intact while the lids closed.
Then I doubt this was all one accident, incident my ass. Anyways will u take a risk and spend the night at the Cecil Hotel and run the risk of encountering a ghost?
Oh right, the Cecil Hotel is rumored to be haunted, would make sense with all the deaths that happened there.
Apparently, the hotel has a 1-star rating, hmm I guess the food and the experience were that bad.
So will u take the risk?
That’s if u believe in any of this, urban legends are just fun to speculate about and tell around campfires.

Ahhhhhh!
