La Llorona: or known as the weeping woman, ohhhhhh turn off the lights, get a drink. Get under your covers today we’re in for some urban legends and folklore, u probably won’t be sleeping tonight.
Be warned ⚠️, these stories I’m about to tell will not be for the faint of heart or children, leave if u must or stay at ur own risk.
Today we’re taking a look at this iconic Mexican and Latin American folklore. So what’s the folklore revolving around La Llorona?
So essentially this woman named Maria found out her husband was having an affair with her behind her back, so she had a bright idea to drown her 2 children. Oh yes what a great idea, let me drown my 2 kids yeah that will show him.
Oh and get this after she drowned her children individually. She then realizes what she’s done and decides to kill herself because she’s ashamed, right, because apparently drowning one of her sons wasn’t enough for her to realize what she’s done.
No, she had to go yank the second kid who almost ran away in fright because his mom was drowning his brother in the lake. To then realize shit what have I done.
So now to this day if ur up late at a park that has a river, La Llorona is there waiting for u, u first hear the crying and weeping.
If u stick around long enough, especially near the river u will be dragged in and drowned, while being asked for her forgiveness.
Heck no lady that’s not how this works, also she will try to take your kid away and drown them while asking for their forgiveness, oh yeah apology accepted.
Ur forgiven, anyways I don’t recommend watching that terrible American adaptation of La Llorona, that’s a part of the conjuring universe because that makes sense.
No sorry it didn’t, the Warrens never encountered or dealt with La Llorona, also can America stop taking things from different countries and pretend they understand how to handle said things correctly?
Because we sure as hell don’t, anyways hope u don’t bump into her, u might regret what u encounter.
That’s if u believe in any of this, urban legends are just fun to speculate about and tell around campfires.

AHHHHHHHHH!
