Baba Yaga: ohhhhhh turn off the lights, get a drink. Get under your covers today we’re in for some urban legends and folklore, u probably won’t be sleeping tonight.
Be warned ⚠️, these stories I’m about to tell will not be for the faint of heart or children, leave if u must or stay at ur own risk.
Today we’re taking a look at the iconic Russian and East Slavic folklore. So what’s the folklore revolving around Baba Yaga?
So essentially the Baba Yaga is a complex and ambiguous figure, often depicted as a witch who lives in a hut on chicken legs and travels in a mortar, but can be either a benevolent or malevolent force, often aiding or hindering heroes in their quests.
She’s neither a hero nor a villian, but in many stories, she’s depicted eating children, yeah I did mention these stories won’t be for the faint of heart.
So yeah she eats kids but isn’t a villain? How does that work? One thing for certain she’s always associated with the woods, why the woods? Well, I bet it has to do with trying to prevent kids from getting lost in the woods.
Be cautious if ur in the woods u might come face to face with the Baba Yaga, u won’t know if she’s either good or malevolent until it’s too late. Hope u never encounter her for ur safety.
That’s if u believe in any of this, urban legends are just fun to speculate about and tell around campfires.

AHHHHHHHHH!
