Spongebob Squarepants Sponge On The Run: sigh let’s start by showing y’all the trailers shall we?

Yes, ur eyes don’t deceive u that’s indeed Keanu Reeves is a Sage named Sage….how original? Also oh boy I can already tell where this is going, jeepers…..but first let’s get the rating out of the way….so overall I absolutely hate this film…I loathe it, see this is what happens when Nickelodeon gets greedy and goes behind Stephen Hillenburg’s back after he died.

Y’all should be ashamed over at those companies, Stephen Hillenburg is probably rolling in his grave right now.

Anyway, let’s give a rundown then the rating so we can talk about the atrocious 3rd act.

So the plot rundown is Gary goes missing (again!?) Spongebob get ahold of ur pet.

So both he and Patrick must go rescue Gary because it turns out he’s been taken away by Neptune, who has a palace at a casino.

Oh boy wonder where this is gonna go, also they get help from someone or something. A tumbleweed and guess who it’s played by? Keanu Reaves.

Say what now? Yeah so they got Keanu Reaves in this film to play a tumbleweed, via CGI his head into a tumbleweed, what’s this tumbleweed name? Sage, yep that’s right Sage the tumbleweed.

What even is this? Why even is this? BTW keep in mind Keanu Reaves apparently backed down from a Marvel offer to appear in the MCU, but instead took the chance to play a tumbleweed in the Spongebob Squarepants film!

Can this franchise end plz? Oh, also we get a musical number in a bar right after this, where they encounter undead cowboys. One of them played by Danny Trejo himself.

Sorry, what is Machete doing here in Spongebob? Why’s Snoop Dogg here as well? Why am I asking these questions?

So will Spongebob Squarepants get Gary back from Neptune? Spoilers uh yes, why did I spoil that? Because folks I can’t express to u how much I loathe the 3rd act of this film and I wanna take the 3rd act spoilers to talk about the horrible third act.

Trust me if u thought the film was already boring and questionable, then the 3rd act will just make u feel immense loathe, so time to get the rating out of the way.

Overall this film gets a 0/10, if ur wondering why. Well let me give y’all an idea of the sense of humor in this film, the 2 of them get to the casino town and go inside to gamble by doing poker, and Patrick says this.

Time to spoil the 3rd act and any revelations, so Spongebob ger put on trial because he wants to take Garry back from Neptune who uses snails to make his skin smooth, uh ew. So do u know what happens in this scene?

The entire gang shows up to defend Spongebob, individually they talk about Spongebob and how they met him as a kid at this place called Camp Koral!

Yes, that’s right folks this entire 3rd act is a promotion for their spinoff show called Camp Koral! U have got to be shitting me?

Ok this is officially just atrocious, u made an entire pointless film to be a promotion piece for ur spinoff show! Shame on u Nickelodeon, shame on u.

Oh, then this 3rd act turns into a musical, about how Spongebob Squarepants was the secret formula all along, sighhhhh.

Try telling me this is good music, come on I dare u. Because it definitely isn’t good music.

Like why’s Plankton singing in this? He isn’t friends with the group, why’s Squidward singing this? My brain hurts.

No don’t worry I ain’t gonna share that, I don’t want y’all to suffer. Also yes Spongebob gets back Gary of course, he tells Neptune he doesn’t need to care about his looks.

So he takes his wig off and lets his gut be free. Ok then, didn’t know u could hold up ur gut and make it look like abs. Anyway the end, yes plz now we can finally be done with this film, bye bye I’m now gonna toss this film out of my memories into a Shredder.
