Lego The Lord Of The Rings: Let’s start by showing y’all the trailers shall we?
That’s right folks today we’re taking a look at Lego Lord Of The Rings. Side note here’s the opening main menu.
So today’s review I’m gonna do something different, I ain’t gonna do a plot rundown or a spoiler because we already know how the LOTR franchise goes and ends.
Essentially ur just playing through The LOTR but this time in Lego form, that’s right get yourself immersed into the world of LOTR.
Btw disclaimer I unfortunately never did get 100% in this game, yeah but I did beat the main game’s levels. The issue for me was how complex this game was.
For example, to even give y’all an idea of how big this game is or how complex it is, the entire map is ginormous, u get to walk on foot and explore every single location in the LOTR franchise.
The amount of walking u do in this game feels like the amount the characters walked in the franchise.
Notice how I said it feels like it, not it’s the exact same. But what really made it a bit harder is in this game, you will be doing side quests, when u do side quests u get these handful of white bricks which u then have to go all the way back to this rainy village near the Shire.
Take those bricks to a black Smith and have him construct those bricks into a weapon or item, yeah this game has items u can craft and use.
One of my favorite items in this game is a disco ball u can hold which plays this music.
And war and war and war and war and war, we rife for Gondor, u shall not pass!!
Yes, this song lives rent-free in my head, I won’t lie this was one of the best items in the game. I remember using it constantly in the open world while walking.
If ur around people they break out into dancing, including enemies. So who are my favorite characters in this game? Easy
Gollum
Frodo
Sam
Pippin
Merry
Gandalf
Saruman
Sauron
Witch King of Angmar
Hey, I may not be a fan of the LOTR franchise but I sure as heck enjoy playing this game. Yeah, I know double standards.
Now it’s time to get the rating out of the way, overall yeah I had a really good solid fun time playing this game, this one is a bit more harder to find. It’s on the Xbox series X but it’s not.
U have to own the DVD copy of The LOTR game for Xbox 360, which u can plop into the series X and play the game, the game unfortunately isn’t in the Xbox store.
That’s a shame, so I’ll give Lego Lord Of The Rings a solid 9.6/10, hope y’all enjoyed this review also here are all the cutscenes.
Till next time, I got more related reviews coming up.
