Bob Marley One Love: Let’s start by showing you all the trailer shall we?

So let’s firstly get this out of the way…before this movie I’d never heard of Bob Marley, yeah I know me and my uncultured self should go to a museum or open up a book. Something like that, ur not wrong.

And I’ll get this out of the way, even though I ended up enjoying this film I however was kinda underwhelmed by it. I was expecting a bio Pic, it’s not really a bio Pic it’s more based on a small slice of his life when he was about to and what led up to the point of him to perfume his hit album One Love, to unite both factions of these warlords that been at war in his county.

Casting his people to suffer in the crossfire, so basically what u learn in this movie u could have easily learned just by looking up info about him in Wikipedia or something like that and just decided to read about this concert he attended.

U aren’t gonna learn anything new about Bob Marley here that u didn’t know before, that a quick Google search couldn’t just tell u.

Basically ur better off just googling up about Bob Marley.

The plot summary isn’t really necessary, it’s essentially Bob Marley survives a murder attempt, he runs away with his wife for a couple of years and then returns home to perform his life to bring together 2 countries who are against each other, together under one song.

Yeah, that’s the summary, so overall I’ll give this film a solid 9/10, I still do recommend watching this film. Warning spoilers ahead y’all been warned.

So time to spoil the 3rd act, Bob Marley gets this bruise on his foot which he’s told by his instructor to go get it checked, turns out he has foot cancer, uh oh. The option is to cut it off, Bob Marley refuses to do that because he does soccer and running every day. So F that I guess.

Guess living doesn’t matter to him, but he does live long enough for the concert, where he does his performance on stage in Jamaica, to bring together both nations from the war against each other.

And I still call bullshite on that, I don’t think a single song ended a war between 2 nations, anyways film ends with crawling text that Essentially says Bob Marley died not too long after the concert, he was young. His music still lives on to this day and all that.
