Dead Island: Let’s start by showing y’all the trailers shall we?

So I’ll give a summary of the plot, then will talk about the ups and downs….out of these zombie reviews I’ll spoil important things for the reviews.

So this game opens up with the most epic epicness opening I’ve ever seen in a game….it’s of a drunk guy walking through a crowd of people at a party on an island, while a guy named Sam B is singing a song….here’s the song

“Who Do You Voodoo B*ch!”

So what’s the plot rundown? Well, u play as these 4 characters, if u aren’t playing as Sam B then u aren’t playing the game correctly.

Essentially u wake up drunk in a hotel, and u realize the island is overrun by the undead.

U will find yourself doing side missions for people u rescue, why? Uhhhhhhhh yeah, that’s right. Just uhhhhh, I will say though Killing, zombies in this game are so satisfying.

Also in this game, u will be finding items that u can sometimes mix to make a useful weapon.

So how does this game end? All will be revealed in the spoilers, but first, let’s get the rating out of the way.

Overall yeah I enjoyed this game a lot, what else helped was this game’s setting is on a tropical island, I just love tropical islands. Too bad this one is overrun by the undead. My only complaint is the way the game ends is kinda eh?

Also, the way this game fills out time is by having u do mundane chores for NPCs, that’s how the entire 2nd act is taken up by unfortunately, so I’ll give Dead Island a solid 9/10.

Time to spoil the 3rd act and any revelations. So how does the game end? Well, our main characters chase down this antagonist they encounter, who’s this military guy, onto a boat. Where he plans to escape in his helicopter.

But they catch up to him, so he injects himself with this so-called cure they find because he wants to prevent from dying and turning into the undead from the infection, instead, this cure speeds up the infection and mutates him into a beast.

After u fight him off, y’all get into the helicopter and escape with the realization that nothing will ever get better or be the same, wow that’s a bleak ending.
