The Hobbit The Battle Of Five Armies: Let’s start by showing y’all the trailers shall we?
Ohhhhhhh boy I’m probably gonna get downvoted for my opinion on this franchise but here we got, got to be honest.
Ok so I won’t lie about this film I now realize what y’all mean the Hobbit films aren’t good.
Because yeah this film sucks, keep in mind this is coming from someone who defends the first 2 films so this says a lot.
So what’s the plot rundown? In this final installment in the franchise, we got ourselves a war story of 5 armies.
The town gets attacked by Smaug, heck the king gets killed off. The buildings get set on fire, but the Bard escapes his cell and goes up to the tower where the big crossbow is and takes this black spear he has which can only Penetrate Smaug. He aims it at the joke that’s already in Smaug where this spear penetrated him once.
This takes down Smaug killing him, finally but also this happens within the first 10 min. Anyways, moving on.
The dwarves have retaken the mines. Thorin is losing his mind, Gandalf shows up and wants to prevent a war from happening so he helps the town folks out.
They are recovering from a burnt down broken town.
BTW Gandalf was saved by the White Council, they came and attacked the Moguls. Saruman encounters The Eye of Sauron. Don’t ask me what he’s doing here in this franchise, he’s not supposed to be here yet.
Then the elves show up along with Thranduil. He wants a specific treasure back, the works are on their way to attack Thorin.
Uh oh, war is gonna happen. The town folks want some of the gold. Bard goes up to ask if they can have some or if will they have peace or war. Thorin says he wants war. Because he’s going mad.
Heck, even his own men and Bilbo see it, In this film Thorin will either have to fight this disease and come to terms or let it consume him.
Wait ur asking isn’t there supposed to be 5 Armies? Why yes there is, but seems the scriptwriters forgot that’s the case because this film technically only has 3 Armies.
Except later on more dwarves show up to save the day, so I guess that’s the 4th army? Then who’s the 5th? The eagles show up as well. Ok, those don’t count.
So what’s this the Battle of The 3 Armies? Glad to see they couldn’t get that right. So who will die? Who will survive? All will be revealed, but first the rating.
Overall yeah no sorry this film isn’t for me, heck I’m gonna give this one a lower rating than I did the LOTR Trilogy, yeah this film is just legitimately bad like there’s nothing redeemable about it.
The only good thing I can say is the film ends so there’s that, like yay finally.
Also, I still don’t think this franchise is for me, but hey this is one man’s opinion.
So overall I’ll give this film a solid 2/10, warning spoilers ahead y’all been warned ⚠️.

Time to spoil the 3rd act, so come to the third act Rachel’s army is at war against each other, the elves are fighting against the Orks, helping the people out.
While the Orks also attack the dwarves. Later on, more dwarves show up to help the fight, Azog goes after Thorin who has realized he has been corrupt and he gets rid of the orb. And goes to help in the Battle.
Good thing he does because Azog is about to kill Gimli, heck he’s already injured.
Also, Legolas is dealing with Azog’s right-hand man who was attacking Bilbo. Where’s Gandalf in all this? Idk, guess he’s fighting.
So Thorin does kill Azog, but ag the extent of his own life. He also dies, but dies in Bilbo’s arms, as he lies there apologizing he then dies.
Gimli dies in Tauriel’s arms as she’s crying, his brother is also there all sad as well.
The Orks get killed off because the eagles come to save the day, hurray I guess.
Anyway the king elf tells Legolas that he needs to go meet this mysterious ranger, he will teach him the ways.
Seriously? Had to go there? Hmmm, I wonder who he’s hinting at! So the film ends with Bilbo being taken back home.
Good thing he makes it back because his neighbors start selling his stuff because they think he’s dead, no don’t ask me how they thought that.
The end, Anyways I hope y’all either enjoyed this review or were open-minded minded to understand my perspective, anyways catch y’all next time. Sorry for this one being controversial.
