Toy Story 4: Let’s start off with showing y’all the trailers shall we?

That’s right folks we’re talking today about Toy Story 4, let’s face it this franchise should have ended at Toy Story 3. But first, let’s give a rundown of the plot,

One day at school Bonnie makes a new toy named Forky, using a spork, popsicle, and googly eyes. Yeah, that’s a toy, the running gag with him is he considers himself trash.

Every time Woody says he’s a toy, Forky says trash I am trash, anyways one day the gang is taken with Bonnie and her family on a road trip in an RV.

Unfortunately Forky jumps off during the ride and Woody goes with him, they find themselves at a vintage store that carries vintage items, and there they meet this girl doll named Gabby Gabby, along with her 2 Ventriloquist dummies as guards.

She has a broken box and wants to replace it with Woody so this girl she favors will take her home, womp womp.

She has her guards try to catch them but they end up capturing Forky and holding him hostage.

Also there at a park Woody finally reunites with Bo Peep who wasn’t in Toy Story 3, also he meets new toys such as a Canadian daredevil named Duke Kaboom (voiced by Keanu Reaves).

So now the gang has to go save Woody, I say gang I mean BuzzLightyear. He finds himself at a carnival where he meets these 2 stuffed animals named

Ducky (voiced by Keegan-Michael Key)

Bunny (voiced by Jordan Peele)

Will BuzzLightyear be able to save Woody and Forky? Will they make it back in time before Bonnie and her family continue the road trip? All will be revealed in the spoilers, for now, let’s get the rating out of the way.

Overall yeah 8/10, at this point can this franchise just end, what’s that? Are we getting a 5th film? Oh brother the cycle never ends. It’s not a bad film it’s just at this point I’m wondering what are we still doing here.

Also BuzzLightyear in this film is treated as a moron, the guy is in this film keeps being told to listen to his inner thoughts and he takes that as push my button on my chest.

BuzzLightyear ladies and gentlemen, he’s treated as the butt end of the joke.

I’ll say this though, the animation has evolved from the original Toy Story, the animation in this film is beyond gorgeous, also besides a few jokes that made me laugh, I can’t see any more compliments to add to this film.

Side note here’s a montage of funny moments with Forky who’s now my new favorite character.

Time to spoil the 3rd act, so after trying to rescue Forky and escape, but giddy they need a key to open up a cabinet which leads to my favorite montage of Bunny and Duck both giving ideas in how to get the key. And uh it’s morbid.

Yes, they just implied they want to follow the elderly woman home and murder her!

Woody is approached by Gabby again, and she pleads with him. He accepts and they take his battery pack out of him and place it into Gabby.

Does this make that girl who she loves want to buy her? Nah she just tosses her away, shocker.

But Woody doesn’t give up on her, so he helps Gabby out by leaving her in an area where a kid will find her and take her home, which does happen.

So she’s contempt. Anyways Bonnie and her parents are about to get back into the RV and leave, so the gang has to do parkour to get up to the RV.

Woody unfortunately decides to stay behind with Bo Peep and the new gang, she’s taught him it’s better off to be a lone toy who can live and do whatever.

So Woody stays as the gang leaves. This is a sad ending I’m just happy this franchise is done- oh wait a minute.

Anyways yes this does end without an amazing epic ending, boooo. Anyway the end I hope y’all enjoyed this review.
