Toy Story 3

Toy Story 3: Let’s start off with showing y’all the trailers shall we?

That’s right folks we’re taking a look at Toy Story 3 today. But first, let’s give a rundown of the plot,

Essential Andy is now too old, he’s going to college so he needs to get rid of his toys. His toys get taken to a preschool where they find out these kids are pure nightmares to deal with. There they meet a bunch of new toys, led by a pink teddy bear named Lots Lotso

Along with his right-hand toy who’s a baby doll.

But there’s something afoot here, Woody wants to get back to Andy because he doesn’t want to leave him. So he escapes but ends up finding this girl named Bonnie, he gets taken into her house and is played with.

There he meets a unicorn stuffed animal and a frowny clown named Chuckles.

Also, the gang catches on to Lotso, unfortunately, BuzzLightyear gets a first hand view of this when he’s tied up at night and his battery is taken out of him, and is reprogrammed to his default programming.

How did they catch on? Well they were tossed away into the kindergarten room where all the kids treat them horribly, while Lotso and his gang live in the privileged area where kids treat the toys a whole lot better.

Buzz tried to ask them for a transfer, but that didn’t go well. Yeah, Lotso is essentially a mafia boss.

Uh oh, will the gang stop Lotso? Will they save BuzzLightyear? All will be revealed in the spoilers, but first, let’s get the rating out of the way.

Overall this is where the franchise kinda went downhill for me. It’s not a bad film no far from it. But compared to the first 2, well I prefer the first 2. So overall I’ll give Pixar Toy Story 3 a solid 8/10, warning spoilers ahead y’all been warned.
____________________________________________________

Time to spoil the 3rd act, so Chuckles tells Woody about Lotso (plot twist) Lotso is evil. Because Essentially he  and the baby doll were left behind by their kid one day in the fields.

They made their way home along with chuckles, just to find that Lotso had been replaced by another Lotso stuffed bear, he felt heartbroken. So he left with the baby doll. Telling it the kid doesn’t love either of them.

Dunnn dun dunnn! So he’s bitter, so do they save BuzzLightyear? Yes, they reprogram him. Unfortunately, they accidentally turn on Spanish mode so he’s stuck speaking Spanish for mainly the rest of the film until near the end of the 3rd act.

So the gang tries to escape the place, Lotso corners them at the dumpster shoot where they are about to escape from. Losto essentially says I didn’t toss u away, ur owner did. Think about that.

Woody pulls out the name tag of the baby and says what about ur owner Daisy! He says Idk what ur talking about.

Then he says u used to do everything with her, Lotso says until she abandoned me! Woody says she lost u! Of course, Lotso says she replaced us!

She replaced u! U lied to baby, if no one could have her then no one could! Then they toss the baby the tag, and which baby looks down at it all sad and says mama.

Lotso being a dick grabs the tag and says “What!? U want ur mama? She never loved u! Don’t be such a baby!” Then he smashes the tag with his cane. What a complete douchbag.

Then the baby turns on Lotso by grabbing him and tossing him down the dumpster, yay! He had it coming.

I do like the parallel here between Lotso and Jessi from the second film, where Jessi didn’t let her trauma destroy her and take over her. Lotso here just completely gave into his anger and trauma.

But this isn’t the end, Woody gets dragged in. So they have to follow them down the dumpster disposal.

Anyways they are about to be crushed and burned by a pit of fire, does Lotso use the crane to save them? Hell no, he’s a dick.

He runs off, luckily when he makes it out of the sewer he gets discovered by a garbage truck and the owner takes Lotso and ties him up in front of the car as decoration, good riddance.

Anyways the little green aliens come and save the day. They use the Claw to save them.

So it’s now time to head back to Andy before he Ford to college, Woody decides to put the house coordinates of where Bonnie lives so Andy can drop them off there.

So Andy takes the box to Bonnie, shows off his toys, and tells her to treat them well, he then gets in his car. Gives one final look at the toys and waves and says thanks guy’s.

Look I’m a 25-year-old man but even this tugs at my heartstrings, I ain’t crying u r. Anyways the end, I hope y’all enjoyed this review.
