Peacemaker: Let’s start off with a trailer shall we

Oh if yall think that’s weird enough uhhh here’s the opening credits, yall are welcome for whatever this is

Lolo I know right, the fact all the actors are dancing is all choreographed…..anyways this show takes place shortly after The Suicide Squad….where Peacemaker survives Getting shot at the end of the film…..anyways so in this show well sorry to say this but this review will be slightly shorter…..so the premise of this show is that Peacemaker has survived getting killed off in The Suicide Squad….

The Dumb Survival of Peacemaker

And I still can’t get over how dumb it is that Peacemaker survived this movie. The guy literally gets shot in the neck — we see blood geyser out like a horror flick — and then, oh yeah, the entire building collapses on top of him when Starro breaks free. By every shred of logic, he should be paste. But nah, cut to the post-credits and he’s somehow alive, in a hospital bed, with the film basically shrugging and saying, “Don’t worry about it, we needed him for the HBO Max show.” It’s the kind of survival that isn’t just unrealistic — it breaks the immersion, because you’re sitting there thinking, “Okay, so bullets and collapsing skyscrapers are just mild inconveniences now?”

Somehow, so once he wakes up he goes and visits his racist redneck dad named Augie Smith (played by Robert Patrick) yes that Robert Patrick who played the liquid Terminator in Terminator 2…..yeah uhhhh perfect casting, so yes Peacemakers dad is a racist and hates his son….but his son asks him for a new helmet so his dad obliges…..granted he does it hesitantly……

So Peacemaker gets himself another helmet and heads on out back to his trailer home to his pet eagle….yes he has a pet eagle, and he goes to his bed and starts crying about how Rick Flags was right that he has no friends and Peacemaker what a joke…..then one of his friends named Adrian Chase (played by Freddie Stroma) shows up at his window and questions him if he is crying and why? If yall don’t get why he’s asking it is because he is a sociopath….so he doesn’t understand emotions all too well…..

Anyway if yall wondering what the plot of this show is? Well, the plot doesn’t kick in until Peacemaker has sex with a hooker….wish I was kidding, anyways it gets a whole lot weirder if u can imagine it…for u see the woman is infected with an alien butterfly that’s taken over her mind and body so she attacks peacemaker…..I did say this gets weirder didn’t I…

Anyway, he gets knocked out of his house and uses his helmet to destroy her…yes he just killed a woman, granted she was gone…she was just a hollow shell being used as a vessel….

So now that he finds out that there’s this unknown alien butterfly parasite.

Anyways so let’s skip a bit, so Peacemaker racist father eventually decides to dawn his classic outfit and go after his son. Because he’s a piece of shite of a father. He and his goonies catch up to Peacemaker and his friend on the road near a forest.

He and his dad start beating up each other. Eventually, Peacemaker gets the upper hand after getting beaten up. By aiming a gun towards his own dad, of course, his dad calls him the P word. Hell throughout this show he calls his son the P word and F word.

His dad is a racist, anyways he taunts his son saying I know u can’t because deep down u don’t have it in u, but Peacemaker does shoot his dad in the head which kills him.

There’s the full scene, and he gets sad about it afterward. To be fair the guy had it coming.

So, near the end of this series, Amanda Waller’s daughter figures out that Clemson Murn this entire time has been possessed by a butterfly alien, she overstayed at the work building one night and saw him.

Turns out this entire time Emilia Harcourt also knew, she just decided to keep this a secret. Just like how Amanda Waller’s daughter gets a secret that she brought her girlfriend with her. Who’s staying at a nearby motel?

So come to the last episodes let’s see Clemson Murn die by sacrificing himself, Peacemaker, and his friend Vigilante plus the other gang team up to go stop these alien butterflies in their underground layer under a farm, they have possessed some cows btw.

Alien-possessed cows, well I didn’t think this show would go there.

Anyways show ends with them stopping the invasion, as they walk away in the field, The Justice League shows up, and we get a cameo by Jason Mamoa and Ezra Miller, the rest of the team is shrouded in shadow.

Peacemaker tells them they are late, hahahahaha. So the final shot of this show is of Peacemaker sitting down in front of his trailer home with his dad sitting near him, I’m sorry what? Is he hallucinating him?

Well yeah no duh. But why? Anyway the end, I cannot wait for season 2 to air later this year. Catch y’all next time hope y’all enjoyed this review.
