🎬Transformers One: Let’s start off with showing y’all the trailers shall we?💥

I think before we get started we need to talk about the elephant in the room. The advertisement for this film sucked ass, which is unfortunate.

Because that’s what ended up harming this film, whoever promoted the film this way needs to be fired. Also unfortunately this film was the final nail in the coffin for Hasbro.

They announced that they are done making film or show adaptations from now on. But if any company wants to adopt their products then that company will need to pay them for it.

Yeah can’t see this happening, a company willingly pay Hasbro to adopt one their properties.

What a shame because I absolutely loved this film, the comedy was funny. The film.had emotion/heart put behind it.

BTW I’ve become a huge fan of Transformers of late, mainly this film and the Gen 1 version. Not the Micheal Bay versions, F that.

Here’s a rundown of the plot, this film is the origin of how Bumblebee, Megatron and Optimus Prime came to be. Before they has those names, their original names were

Orion Pax (Optimus Prime) (voiced by Chris Hemsworth)

B-127 (Bumblebee) (voiced by Keegan-Michael Key)

D-16 (Megatron) (voiced by Brian Tyree Henry)

Anyways both Orion and D-16 are minors who work in a mine. They work with a female robot named Elita-1 (voiced by Scarlett Johansson).

The minor’s purpose is to mine for power crystals to power their planet of Cyber Cybertron, which is being led by their egotistical leader named Sentinel Prime (voiced by Jon Hamm).

After the fall of his team which includes Sage Alpha Trion (voiced by Laurence Fishburne), and  Megatronus (who D-16 worships).

Anyways if y’all wondering why is there transformers having mundane jobs such as mining? Well for u see those minors were born with this thing called a cog, which allows them to transform (keep that in mind for the spoilers).

So one day due to Orion Pax’s obnoxious sense of adventure, he gets both of them in trouble by putting themselves in a race that they aren’t supposed to get involved in, but Sentinel Prime notices them and congrats them and says he will give them luxury.

Bullshite, instead his men toss them in the lower levels to the trash compactor room where B-127 is located at, btw there’s a running gag in this film of B-127 calling himself Badassatron.

“Badassatron!”, yeah a PG film gets away with using the term BadAss multiple times in this film, wow I have respect. But also unfortunately that gag kinda gets annoying.

They decide to escape beyond the walls where they are not allowed to leave, unfortunately, Elita-1 catches them and follows them onto a train that takes them out of the wall into the badlands.

Or at least that’s what they’ve been told, also secrets get unveiled, what secrets get unveiled? Will our main characters make it back home? Stay tuned for the spoilers where I’ll talk about the 3rd act and every revelation.

Final Thoughts 🤖✨
Transformers One (2024) really surprised me in the best way possible. It balanced heart, humor, and action while still respecting the franchise’s legacy. The animation gave Cybertron a fresh, vibrant look, and the dynamic between Optimus and Megatron carried real emotional weight. For once, a Transformers movie felt like it was made with care instead of just noise and explosions. It reminded me why I fell in love with these characters in the first place.

So overall I’ll give Transformers One a solid 10/10,

🚨Final warning for spoilers🚨, ok we cool? Ok so the revolution they find is when they find the dead Primes in a cave, D-16 sees his idol Megatronus. He’s pissed at him being dead.

They find Sage Alpha Trion, he wakes up and tells them that get this Sentinel Prime is not to be trusted, he’s no Prime. And that he betrayed his team by killing them including Megatronus.

Dunn dun dun, so, of course, of course D-16 is furious by this revolution, he swears revenge against Sentinel Prime.

Sage Alpha Trion gives each of them a Cog from each of the fallen Primes, they tell him they weren’t born with them even though he says that’s not possible, all u guys are born with them.

Unless Sentinel Prime took them out of u, what a twist. So Sage Alpha Trion stays behind as entities show up, the gang locates Sentinel Prime standing in front of an alien ship with its general coming out of it.

Turns out Sentinel Prime has been sending the mining crystals to these aliens, all behind Cybertrons back. While lying to them that he’s using the crystals to break through the walls to restore the whole planet to them.

What a bunch of baloney, they get noticed and escape. Luckily they got cogs so they try to transform and at first they aren’t good at transforming.

Prime transforms into a Truck

B-127 transforms into a Volkswagen

D-16 transforms into a Tank

They eventually get kidnapped by some outsiders who are led by a Cybertron named Starscream, along with his right-hand man Soundwave. If any yall are Transformers fans then u will instantly recognize them.

D-16 gets into a fist-to-fist fight with Starscream to show who’s more worthy of leading, also we get an origin to why Starscream has a high-pitched voice, it’s because D-16 punches him in the throat until his vocal cords get damaged.

Yikes, so now D-16 is leading this army against Sentinel Prime and anyone who stands in their way. Yeah if y’all can’t tell D-16 has some anger issues.

So they get to the town and get captured, luckily they did split up. Optimus Prime takes a squad and goes to recruit the miners.

So after D-16 and his people get captured they break loose and attack, just then Prime and B-127 insert a recording of Sentinel Prime on live broadcast so everyone can see and hear this.

As D-16 is about to be killed off, the screens turn on with Sentinel Prime’s face on every screen and he’s saying how he’s been lying about everything and that he’s been giving the minerals away to an alien race.

So the whole town now turns on him, D-16 gets Sentinel Prime on the floor and tries to shoot him, but Optimus steps in a way and says this isn’t the way. He needs to face trial.

D-16 wants revenge, so he shoots. But Optimus gets in the way and gets injured and falls off the cliff, D-16 grabs him and says I’m done saving u, proceeds to let Optimus fall into the abyss.

Then D-16 grabs Sentinel Prime who’s crawling away, then proceeds to rip him in half.

D-16 now refers to himself as Megatron, he asks who’s gonna join him. If anyone doesn’t he’s going to get rid of them because they are loyal to Sentinel Prime.

Ohhhhhh what a twist, so essentially Sentinel Prime isn’t exactly the true villain of this film, but it’s also thanks to him that the true villain was born.

Anyways Optimus Prime is reborn, he’s given more power by the dead Primes. He’s resurrected as Optimus Prime, both he and Megatron fight.

The fight ends with Megatron getting worn out a bit and Optimus Prime slicing Megatrons gun on his arm in half, he then tells Megatron that this didn’t have to come to this.

But Megatron and his men are to be banished and never return, Megatron says u will regret this, then he tells his team “Decepticons roll out”.

They transform into vehicles, Megatron transforms into his iconic tank and they roll on out, so anyway Prime gives the entire cybertronians cogs. So now they can all transform.

Prime is now their leader, while B-127 is renamed Bumblebee and is now Prime’s right-hand man.

Also if y’all wondering how Megatron picks that symbol for the Decepticons? That symbol is of the Prime he worshipped.

Anyway the end and happy ending, no wait not really because we actually end with Megatron making a speech to his Decepticons. And threatening to get revenge. And how now they are called Decepticons!

Woah what an ending, as stated I love the film. Anyway the end, I hope y’all enjoyed this film.
