Star Wars Dark Forces Remastered: Let’s first start with showing y’all the trailers shall we?

So where to start? This game is another remaster, it’s not a new game. Which is good in my opinion because I’m sick and tired of new Star Wars.

BTW it’s thanks to remaster that I got to play this classic game for the first time.

So what’s the premise of this game? Well u play this rebellion named Kyle Katarn, who is tasked to go steal the Death Star plans to bring back to the rebellion.

Yep before Rogue One and before Battlefront 2 2005 versions of stealing the Death Star plans, we had Star Wars Dark Forces. Btw the best way I can describe the graphics in this game is everything is 2D.

Yep that’s right this game is a 2D first person shooter game, me personally I only thing first person view works for Star Wars games, not Indiana Jones. Such as that new game coming up.

Honestly, I recommend picking up this game it’s loads of fun, and I’ll give this game a solid 10/10, it’s available on Windows PC via Steam, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, and Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.

So to give more details in this game, within this game, u will constantly be going to a new planet, infiltrate a lair. Shoot enemies (mainly stormtroopers).

U will be doing tasks to open doors and find a secret item or something like that, since and repeat, since and repeat.

But funny enough this game never gets boring. Btw the graphics for a 2D remaster of an old game is actually fairly good.

Also yes we do get a cameo from lord Vader, in the opening cutscene. I’ll share an image here.

Yes, I know this review is short but I don’t have much to say, I highly recommend this game, it’s worth the price. The game is a classic and even though it’s a 2D game it looks really detailed. I will say this though u might run the risk of getting lost on the maps because the small map in the corner isn’t really helpful.

So yeah overall I highly recommend this game especially if some y’all fallen off of Star Wars (like I did). Really my opinion is to stick to the classics/remasters of classics that are available on the Xbox such as.
