The Penguin Episode 6: Let’s start off with showing y’all the trailers shall we?

So we are now officially 2 weeks away till this season is over, I’m so stoked because I can’t wait to see what the last 2 episodes will bring us.

For now, let’s get the rating out of the way so we can get into spoilers. Overall I’m still in love with this show like a lot, this show has officially done it, and it’s stayed consistent for the last 6 episodes.

Also, this week’s episode is 1 hour long, again perfect length. In this episode we get a bit of a time jump to show us where Oz is now at in life. Sophia got a new haircut, Oz’s new underground business is running and his men are making Shrooms. All the while workers are working OK in this place.

So overall I’ll give this episode a solid 10/10, warning spoilers ahead y’all been warned.

So in this episode, we open up to a bit of a time skip where Oz’s business is going well, and his men are making the shrooms. While workers are working on the place, we see Vic ride in on a motorcycle wearing full black leather and carrying a gun. Ohhhh Vic now got a gun, anyways Vic tells Oz that one of Sofia’s men tried tailing him.

Uh oh, but that’s not a problem at the moment. What is an issue is Sofia and Salvatore, who btw is cooking dinner for the both of them. He learned cooking from his wife.

He says his wife taught him to cook so he can pass that down to his kids, ooofff that one hurt I won’t lie, I felt that.

While they eat Sophia says ur wife was right, the yogurt tastes delicious in this meal.

This makes Salvatore break down, he says she was right. Yeah, I feel bad for him, he badly wants to take everything away from Oz but the issue is they’ve not seen him or heard from him so they have to figure out where he is.

Anyways, Oz’s mom isn’t getting any better and the power in the apartment went out because the mayor couldn’t pay to keep the power on in the neighborhood.

Also, Oz gets a call to tell him and Vic to check the news, they check the news on Vic’s phone and what’s on the news, turns out what’s on the news is 3 dead men who worked for one of the crime bosses Oz made a deal with.

And they are missing a finger each, uh oh Sofia means business….so Oz has a plan for his men to go around at any neighborhood to hand 1 dose of this drug around for free to get people interested.

Unfortunately, while this happens Vic bumps into his “Old Fiend” Sorry meant friend, or did i? Nah I meant fiend because this guy is a douchbag….he’s the guy Vic’s dad didn’t trust, yeah probably for good reason. This guy wants Vic to introduce him to Oz so he can work for him.

As he won’t take no for an answer, anyways Sofia and Salvatore break into Oz’s house and look around for someone he loves, Salvatore picks up an image of his brother which Sofia says they died when they were young.

And his dad is dead, so Salvatore is mad because he says I lost everything and Oz has nothing! She hands him a golf club and lets him go crazy, while she goes into the other room to look. She finds an image of Oz’s girlfriend.

So she goes around trying to look for Oz’s girlfriend, her friends catches the notice of this and say I can help for the right prize.

Anyway Oz gets a call from some of the mob bosses he made a deal with and tells them I’ll meet u at a specific location I ain’t gonna talk to u while ur angry.

He then goes to the restroom to see if his mom is OK but his mom calls him in for help, turns out she was in the bathtub all night, he takes her out of the tub and she says I can’t live like this.

I can’t end up a vegetable, promise me u will kill me if my mind goes, Oz says he can’t. She tells him to promise her. He says I promise, and yes things just got pretty dark.

Anyway that night Vic returns to Oz trying to fix the router in the house but the engine isn’t working.

Vic tries to explain to Oz that his old friend is on to him and won’t stop, but Oz isn’t listening. He starts blabbering on about how is he supposed to protect his mom.

Vic reassures Oz and tells him he’s doing the best he can for her and she knows that. Anyway, Vic leaves to go deal with his problem, and he tries to pay off his friend. But he won’t have none of it. He wants him to take him to Oz now and he’s not playing with him.

Wow, what a great friend, so Vic says fine follow me we’re underground, then Vic turns around and shoots his friend dead. Yayyyyyy, I mean awww?

Anyway Vic is scared of what he just did so he runs away.

Bet y’all wondering what’s Oz up to? Well, he visits the mayor when he’s about to get into his car in a parking lot, he knows the mayor is a scumbag. He says u may have paid ur debt to Carmine but not to me, the guy won’t take him seriously.

So Oz rushes up to him with a tweezer and sticks it up the guy’s nose and starts threatening him, he asks Oz what does he want? He tells him u get to go home and be in ur warm house while we people in the lower streets don’t have power.

You gonna go turn that power back on or else, he says don’t u know how much work that will take? Oz shoves it up a bit more up the mayor’s nose, so the mayor says alright alright I’ll do it.

Hey, good boy wasn’t that so hard?

Sophia goes and visits Oz’s girlfriend, with a gun in her hand aimed at her.

She finds out that Oz wouldn’t come for her so capturing her would be pointless, but she has accepted her fate of being killed here and now by Sofia.

Sofia tells her the truth of what Oz did to her, that she’s not the Hangman. It was her father, she then leaves.

So Vic returns to their undergoing hideout, Oz can tell something is up with Vic. He says it has to do with that guy, doesn’t it? Vic says yeah. Oz says u did the right thing, u protected who u cared for.

He then gives Vic a hug, then he says I want u to go back to the apartment. Tidy up because I’m gonna need u tomorrow.

Anyways Oz heads out to meet the mob bosses, he brings them beers, some of them won’t trust him because Oz talks his way out of everything and doesn’t have a code.

Heck one of them calls him The Penguin, ohhhhh no u do not do that, he then sits down and explains ur right I did steal the shrooms from Sofia and swindled my way, but so what?

Why don’t we deserve the money? People like Sofia got to be raised in a privileged life and don’t understand money, but I do. Yeah, he ain’t wrong, also he’s definitely right. Rich people don’t understand the value of money, that is the major issue.

Anyway they all open up their cans of beer and do a cheer, Oz lifts his can and says “To taking back Gotham” ohhhhhh I got shivers.

Anyways episode ends with the power in the neighborhood going back on, which wakes up Ms. Cobblepot from her sleep. Vic goes and reassures her, the music turns on. She gets up and starts dancing and she wants Vic to dance with her.

So they both start dancing, unfortunately in the distance Sofia is watching this happening, uh oh I  don’t like where this is going.

Anyway now we’re gonna have to wait 1 more week to see what happens, but from this teaser for next week’s episode. Things do not look good, also just remember we still have 2 more episodes left.

Yeah, things are getting tense, I have a feeling she’s gonna torture Vic and Oz’s mother with building water, what a monster. Granted he deserves it because of what he has done to her.
