Ghost Whisperer: so firstly I wanna start off by saying yes yes I know that this is a drama show however this show horrified me it gave me nightmares…..because this show most of the time got spooky and creepy, don’t worry I’ll talk about that in today’s review also here’s the theme song for this show

I just can’t enough of that theme song, it’s eerie……

Let’s first get the rating out of the way…..so overall I’d say that I enjoyed this series in moments….when this show wasn’t giving me nightmares, but when the show was giving me nightmares then yeah no I wasn’t enjoying this series…..

There are about 3 to 4 episodes that have given me nightmares because they went out of their way to be scary as all hell…..which in today’s review we will be talking about those 3 to 4 specific episodes….now granted I forgot about the names and seasons of the episode they appeared in so ill just be describing the episodes….

Then the other issue this series had was that the last season really felt like a letdown, some episodes were rushed, and elements in episodes that got set up ended up never having a conclusion….

So overall I’ll give this show a solid 7/10….ok from here on out warning some spoilers ahead…y’all been warned….

So with that out of the way let’s get into the review shall we, so basically The gist of this show is this woman named Melinda played by Jennifer Love Hewitt….has this special ability she’s had since she was a kid that she can see and talk to dead people…..or to put it in simpler terms she can see ghosts….anyways she has a husband who works at a hospital….

Anyway so the 2 episodes I wanna talk about today are specifically 2 episodes that gave me Nightmares….and still give me Nightmares….

See no Evil: this is the first one I want to talk about because dear freaking lord this one unnerves me…plus I want to unnerve y’all since it’s ti’s the season for scaring people.

So in this episode, Melinda is asked by her friend’s son to come to check out a possible ghost haunting him and his girlfriend is having in their college dorm…where at first sight the room has been spray painted with X-marked eyes and a frown with a stitched up mouth….uhhh…

The room or the place might be haunted because no one at the dorm did this, also the 2 of them got an email from a person named Sally Stitch, the letter basically says hi I’m Sally Stitch, forward this to someone else or someone u love will die…it’s a chain letter that’s been posted down to tons of people….don’t break the chain or the suffering will have no end….yikes!

Melinda finds out a teenage ghost girl is posting this site around because her mom is in a coma…she believes the website is what’s causing this…

So to prevent her mom from dying she’s forwarding this post to people….yeah I’m getting the shivers, btw we get a creepy moment where this guy is in a library at the school looking through a book, and a book falls off the shelf…the page opens up to this woman’s face that has X-marked stitched up eyes, a frown and stitched up mouth….

Uhhhhhh yikes, my skin is crawling just talking about this episode and describing that….can we plz move on? Because I don’t like things that involve eyeballs, especially eyeballs and mouths stitched up…

Anyways so come to the end of the episode Milenda figures out that the teenager ghosts mother who’s in a coma is actually not dying because of some sort of curse…turns out she’s got cancer, dunn dunn dunnn….so she tries to approach the teenage ghost with that info…of course she doesn’t believe her…

Until then the ghost of her mom appears behind her…which leaves her speechless, she tells her it’s not her fault…she had cancer it was terminal, she was planning on telling her that night at dinner….awwww that’s sad…

So both ghosts finally are at ease, and they both head to the afterlife to rest forever…happy ending right? Well except yes we did figure out that the website wasn’t causing the mother to die….Milenda also got the ghost to rest in piece…

But the question still remains who started this chain mail? Who’s responsible for it? Milenda has a theory, she earlier at the hospital saw this girl in a hospital room with a locked door….according to her husband the girl lives there, and her parents died….

So kinda like a foster care in a hospital, got it…so Milenda wants to go talk to the girl, but as soon as they walk up to her door they see the lights are off…and there’s a sign saying don’t enter to bother the patient….womp womp…

So was it this girl? Well glad y’all asked because this episode ends on the most creepiest imagery I think I’ve seen in a while, also this episode ends on a cliffhanger that never gets resolved….

So we see the girl awake under a little tent she made of blankets, she is holding a stuffed animal…she starts talking to no one and says did I do good? The screen then pans up to this figure in the shadows with messy hair, just then a flash of lightning comes down, revealing the face of the figure….it’s the ghost of Sally Stitch…

It’s this 30ish-year-old woman with stitched-up eyes and mouth, ah get it off my screen get if off get it off… Oh don’t worry the nightmare fuel isn’t done yet, in a low raspy voice she tells her “Yes, u done well” Keep in mind she ain’t moving her mouth or lips because there stitched together…she’s like a ventriloquist….

The girl says what now? Which the scary stitched-up ghost says “Just wait” and the girl says wait for what? And the woman says “They’ll see, they will all see” btw the final shot of the episode is of lightning flash happens and we see up closeup of the ghost’s face….

Well, I didn’t need to sleep tonight, also remember how I alluded to this cliffhanger never getting resolved? Yeah, this season really started the spiral of cliffhangers never getting resolved…this season really started getting lazy, as if the scriptwriters had no ideas or intentions on what to do to finish off the episodes…..I’ll give this episode a solid 8.8/10 on the spook factor…now let’s go get into the final episode I’ll be reviewing then we’ll be done..

Do over: in this episode, Milenda is haunted by visions in her kitchen of an operation in a hospital room gone bad…..she keeps getting these visions throughout the episode btw….I’ll explain in a bit what I mean by gone bad, btw warning this episode id haunting as all hell….

So while that’s happening, at the hospital her husband works at..down at the morgue we see this doctor closing up the morgue, locking away the final body for the night…just then he hears some shifting going on in the morgue locker he just closed…

He opens it up again and pulls the corpse out. Just to witness the corpse’s eyes wide open and facial expression in a shock expression…..ah, I have a fear of hospitals they creep me out, especially morgues….

Anyway her husband brings her into the morgue the next day to see if it’s haunted, here’s this nightmare fuel clip enjoy…

So as u can see as soon as she enters she senses horrible dangerous vibes in this room….as she’s looking at the morgue lockers, just then, behind both of them a bagged-up corpse that’s lying on a table behind sits up…grabs a scapple…

Then the table starts moving towards the both of them all while this corpse is aiming the scapple at them as if he’s trying to hurt them…then the corpse falls back on the table, and Milenda says oh yes u definitely got a haunted morgue…

No shit Sherlock…..on a side note this scene scared the living hell out of me…

Anyways later Milenda gets another vision at her home of that same operation, this time she sees the face of the guy who’s being operated on, it’s this young 20ish man getting operated on….also he’s wearing an oxygen mask to breathe…

So Milenda goes to the morgue at night to find the ghost who’s doing all this, she summons him by calling out his name…..the ghost shows up, gotta admit I already hate the vibes this ghost is giving off….he’s standing right in front the morgue lockers…

All tensed up in anger, has an angry expression on his face, he has an oxygen mask over his mouth with a tube coming down it towards his back, he’s wearing a hospital gown, has orange short hair…..and all u can hear is his breathing…..ahhhhhh.

So Milenda asks who is he. Which he says in a slightly low angry tone “u know me” She says I’ve only seen glimpses of u….she proceeds to walk close to him, then uh how do I describe this next scene that happens…..

The ghost starts Sporadically jerking his head up and down at a rapid speed…..no idk why he starts doing that all I know is I’m scared to get this ghost off the screen, Milenda then says what happened to u was terrible but it was an accident…

The ghost stops sporadically jerking his head and says to her “What happened to me, what happened to everyone here was no accident” Ummmmmmm Milenda run for ur life now….then the ghost goes back to sporadically jerking his head up and down rapidly then he vanishes…..well out of all the ghost encounters she’s had this got to be the most spookiest….

Eventually Milenda does research finds out the ghosts name, then locates down a family member of his…..this family member is an angsty teen who hangs around all day in the alleyways…..she comes up to him to tell him she’s sorry for his loss, which he tells her what u talking about….he’s still alive hell he’s healthy….

Dunnn dunn dunnn, so wait if the guy is still alive and healthy then who the hell is the ghost in the morgue?

Anyways Milenda ends up finding out another key piece of info, so remember that visions she’s been getting? Well so it turns out the guy on the operation table survived as we already found out, however, the doctor overlooking the procedure didn’t…..he started to not feel too well during the procedure, so he went to sit down…he had a heart attack and died….

Yikes, so why is it he’s haunting Milenda’s home is beyond me…..anyways she invites the guy to her house to talk to the ghost of his doctor. Because for some reason the doctor doesn’t know he’s dead…he still thinks he’s alive and is searching for his patient, so the teen brings his grandpa to Milenda’s house where the the doctor’s ghost shows up…

He asks who’s that? Milenda says that’s ur patient which the doctor says that can’t be he’s a young teenager…. Milenda said that was decades ago, he survived and lived and had a happy life…..u died, the doctor let that sink in. He goes up and gets all emotionally happy that his patient has survived…

The guy thanks the doctor for giving him a second chance, and that he’s sorry that he had died…..so now the doctor can go rest in piece in the afterlife, awwww that’s such a great ending…..I swear I’m forgetting something else. Oh well…

So the episode ends with Milenda and her husband sitting in their living room and about to kiss…oh right I now remember what I forgot, so Milenda stops and says wait if the patient is still alive then who’s the ghost haunting the morgue? Yeah, wait a minute who?

So then we get a POV shot going through the hospital towards the morgue, and the camera zooms into the ghost who turns around to look towards the camera….then the episode ends on more nightmare fuel with him jerking his head left and right in a demonic way all while screaming (ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!) Oh then he proceeds to jerk his head up and down rapidly while we very quickly see a glimpse of an X-ray of his skull over his face…..

Awesome I sure as hell didn’t need to sleep tonight, also have y’all started seeing a pattern here in season 5? So far 2 episodes didn’t have a resolution to a ghost that showed up in the show….

Yeah this season as stated started to feel lazy, anyways I do recommend this show to anyone who likes a handful of spooky episodes or to someone who enjoys drama shows…..hope y’all enjoy this reveiw, anyways here’s a tease for my next reveiw I’m working on….
