Avatar The Last Airbender:

Firstly the rating, overall I freaking love this season of Avatar The Last Airbender….I highly recommend it, it’s one of the better seasons so I’ll overall give it a solid 10/10…warning from here spoilers ahead…read at ur own caution

Book 3: so this season picks up with the gang on an enemy boat with Sokka and Katara’s father, with his men on board….Aang finally wakes up after being knocked out for weeks, he’s now grown some hair on his head….also apparently the Avatar has been pronounced dead to the world, oh boy this is not good…Aang says..

But for now they tell him he has to stay low, don’t blow his cover don’t reveal the Avatar is still alive…he refuses at first, because he thinks that’s wrong, but he learns the hard way by almost dying again…that he does need to stay low for a while, so after Sokka and Katara have their sad moments with their dad, well mainly Katara, expressing how could he abandon them when their mom died? He apologizes he tells them he thought of them every day…

So then they separate for now, until the eclipse…for now the group has to stay low while there dad and his men go recruit more men, Sokka informs his dad of some men to go recruit…so If ur wondering how the group stays low? Easy they disguise themselves as Fire Benders and live in the Fire Nation…oh joy..

If ur wondering how Aang hides his giant arrow tattoo on his head? Easy he wears a bandana…..then when they get to the Fire Nation town Aang enlists in a school for some reason, the gang hide out at a cave, smart….also I just love the role Sokka takes up, he pretends to be Aang’s dad…yes I wish that I was joking…but he actually pretends to be Aang’s father…

By putting on a fake beard/mustache/sideburns….yep this really just got weird, heck Aang gets in trouble at school just for asking normal questions that go against the Fire Nations beliefs…..btw speaking of that they keep a picture of the Fire Lord in their school to worship, ehhhh I’m getting heavy North Korean vibes here…I don’t think I need to mention how, if u know well u know…

So anyways, since Aang is in trouble with the principal, both Sokka and Katara come on down disguised as Aang’s parents….Sokka wearing a fake beard, while Katara is wearing a fake pregnant belly….and I just love the name that they picked for them to blend in, Mr and Ms Wang, yes u heard that right there calling themselves Wang….lolo

So Mr. Wang tells the principal that they will punish their son when they get home, so when they get back to their cave one my favorite scenes plays out, here I let it play out….lolo

Sokka: that settles it! No more school for u, young man! (Strokes beard)

Aang: I’m not ready to leave, I’m having fun for once, just being a normal kid. U don’t know what it’s like Sokka. U get to be normal all the time.

Toph: ha ha.

Aang: listen guys, those kids at school are the future of the Fire Nation, if we wanna change this place for the better, we need to show them a little taste of freedom.

Sokka: what could u possibly do for a country of depraved little Fire Monsters?

Aang: I’m gonna throw them a secret dance party 拾

Sokka: go to ur room

“Go to ur room?” Lolo, Sokka u r definitely not Aang’s father, but good try

So Aang and his friends set up a party, invites the kids secretly behind the teachers back….dunn dunn dunnnn, side note if yall wondering what Zuko is up to? Well he’s back at his father’s base…he hasn’t seen his father yet, which means we the audience haven’t gotten the chance to see what the Fire Lord looks like either….and Iroh is rotting away in a cell, being treated like a caged animal…

Awww that’s horrible, also Zuko been visiting him to try to get him to confess about his reasons, but Iroh has now started ignoring Zuko…not responding to him, honestly good on him, Zuko doesn’t deserve the time of day while being this way….

Soooo, anyways back to the gang they do the party, they get caught by the teachers so the gang heads out…..the kids get in the teacher’s way to let the gang escape, how nice of them….so skipping a bit, eventually we do get to see the Fire Lord…..Zuko goes in to see his father who’s on his throne…..we hear his theme start playing, then we hear him say “welcome back home son”, and it pans up him showing us the Fire Lord…..and!

He looks threatening, but not what I was expecting……see I was expecting a burned guy who has some scars, but instead nope he has long brown hair, with a pony tail on top with his Fire Lord crown on it…he wears long brown/red/yellow robe, and he has a 1 singular long pointy goatee…also he’s voiced my Mark Hamill!? The hell? Yeah that was my reaction when I heard him speak, I was like wait his voice sounds familiar…no wait that’s not Mark Hamill is it? (Proceeds to look cast up), holy shite it is Mark Hamill!…

Well guess that’s a second time in his career he’s voiced an animated bad guy, the first time was him voicing Joker in the animated Batman series….yeah that’s a fun fact for the day…

Anyways things get worse Zuko sends a bounty hunter with a third eye on his forehead to hunt down the Avatar and his gang, he knows they are still alive….he hasn’t told his father or Azula that, he is letting them believe he’s killed the Avatar…..oh jeepers this can only go so wrong for him….

Anyways our gang is having the time of their life, Sokka and Aang and Toph have found a way to con people out of their money by using there Bending abilities to cheat at doing things,  so their pulling scams…..oooff this can only go so bad for them, and Katara is against them doing this, which is understandable…..she’s afraid they will get caught…

Toph gets mad at Katara because she thinks she’s being too motherly, which isn’t a bad thing…..but Toph doesn’t like that Katara is being too motherly…anyways Sokka takes some of that money to buy himself a messenger hawk, that he names Hawky….wow what a clever name lolo…

So after Toph and Katara have an argument, Katara goes in the river under a cliff to take a bath while Sokka and Toph are talking to each other over the cliff, he tells Toph we need to talk for a second, he talks about how Katara had taken on the role of mother and a lot of responsibilities when their mom died….also Katara is overhearing all this, Sokka says something that hits Katara emotionally, Sokka says “in all honesty I barley remember our mom, when I try thinking of her all that comes up is Katara…she’s been there for me, helped me along the way…we took care of each other”….

Awww that’s sweet, and Toph finally admits that maybe she’s just mad at Katara for acting motherly because she misses her family, she feels that her parents felt hurt when she left them…..awww, she tells Sokka to tell no one, yeah understandable…also awww

Anyway so Katara offers her and Toph to do a scam together, the other 2 are shocked, they are just standing in the back all shocked…then they faint, yeah understandable she needs to make her mind up….

So they do unfortunately go do a scam, they get caught they find out it’s a trap to lure the Avatar to them….Aang and Sokka do come to help, but the 3 eyed man is there…they barley escape…..so moving on, eventually Sokka hears about a sword master in the mountains, he goes and seeks him to teach him to learn to use a sword…..at first he’s hesitant to but he agrees to…heck he helps Sokka build his own sword….

Sokka tells him he’s not a Fire Bender, he’s not worthy…the teacher attacks Sokka..so the gang come in and help fight, the teacher figures out Aang is the Avatar and that they aren’t Fire Benders…because the names they came up with were horrible fake names, lolo…he does keep their secret and he tells Sokka “if u stay on this path u will become a greater swordsmen then me”…then his butler hands him a gift as they’re leaving……it’s a small rock with a symbol on it..I wonder what it means..

Now let’s focus on 2 other episodes…or just an abbreviation of them…so in an episode titled “the puppet master”, our gang are in the woods alone, a random old friendly lady comes and offers them shelter in her house, they take her up on her offer…in exchange she has them going out to do errends for her….btw they also located something in her attack that same night they came to her house,  Water Bending Tribe necklace…she’s a Water Bender as well…so Katara is happy about that….granted Sokka is very suspicious of the old lady, hence why he wanted to snoop around her house…ok that’s creepy..

Anyways the old lady starts teaching Katara some tricks, that u can get water for Water Bending from anywhere…including trees, plants, life itself…hmmmm, she wants to show her the ultimate Water Bending technique but it has to be at a full moon…..btw she tells Katara of her back story that she and her tribe were taken away from their homes by the Fire Nation….but more on that later we will get to how she escaped…

For now Sokka and Aang and Toph are investigating why most of the town seems empty, and where the missing people went….so they locate an old man who they ask what happened to him…he said it was a full moon and all I remember is all a sudden I didn’t have control over my body, it moved on its own into a cave…I Escaped because the full moon got covered by the clouds…..damn that’s horrifying….

They end up locating the missing people in a cave, right where the old man said he was taken to….they find out the not so innocent old lady is the one who put them there…she’s been doing Blood Bending on them, yep Blood Bending…where it’s an ability to control people through there blood as if ur a puppet and their controller is the puppeteer…..ok that’s dark, for a kids show…also this is a kids show?

So Toph frees the folks while Aang and Sokka go stop thr old hag before she shows Katara this trick, but too late its now full moon and they’re in the woods…she tells Katara how she escaped her cells, she practiced Blood Bending on small rats then on the guards which she used to escape and break herself free…and this the final ability she wants Katara to learn, but Katara won’t because this is a horrible Bending trick to learn….

So they both start fighting, the old lady gets the upper hand by doing Blood Bending on Katara…then Aang and Sokka show up, but the old lady uses Blood Bending on them to control them to fight Katara…..ok this is messed up and horrifying on so many levels….anyways the old lady says only way u can stop me is if u do Blood Bending on me….so Katara finally caves in and does it on the old lady…

Just then the town folks show up with Toph, they put the old lady in shackles and as she’s being taken away she turns to Katara and says “congratulations Katara you are now a Blood Bender”…..then she laughs, the final shot of the episode is of Katara on the ground broke out into tears crying, while her friends are comforting her….jeepers that’s a bleak ending to an episode…understandable why she’s upset though…also here is the fight scene enjoy

The episode after this has got to be one of the funniest episodes I’ve seen. so in this episode we’re one day away till the eclipse and Aang has been losing sleep, he can’t sleep he feels the burden on his shoulders….if he fails then he fails the world….so the gang has to try to help him get some sleep….and since Aang is losing too much sleep this leads into one of the funniest moments in the show…he hallucinates Momo and Oppa talking to him, giving him advice then they both fight each other, in traditional Japanese armor…..say what now?

Chackras Chackras everybody loves chackras, Chackras Chackras, Chackra sandwich taste good yum……lolo yes a random group a sheep show up and start dancing, while a Guru with 4 arms is sitting on a cloud in front of Aang singing about Chackra sandwiches oh and rocks in forms of snakes come and start wobbling around…lolo So Aang runs off and says I just need to jump in a cold water fall…ahhhh! Lololo

Moving onto another episode…..just wanted to share that funny moment with yall

Anyway day of the eclipse is coming so Sokka and Katara father plus the gang come back together, he gets the recruits Sokka asked for…although some of them don’t seem war material their dad says…also the Boulder and his big buddy are here, and there here to help…I love their interaction

Toph: are u here to get ur butts whooped again?

The Boulder: not necessary, the Boulder no longer fights for entertainment…but to help win the war..

Toph: sweet

So they come up with a plan, Sokka tries to tell the plan but he fumbles telling the plan…basically the plan involves them using the new machine a builder made for them, it’s metal submarines…if u remember submarines didn’t exist in this time period, so basically Sokka came up with the submarine…although his original design on paper could have been up for any interpretation…it was a drawing of a whale with a person inside it…lolo

BTW if yall wondering whats keeping the hunk of metal moving? Easy air Benders using air Bending to move the Repellers….also they get in sight of the Fire Nation, so the Earth Benders get into position to shoot their Boulders out of canon’s as weapons….sweet, they bust through the wall and make their way inside the Fire Nation….so they make it inside, the gang starts attacking the Fire Nation who btw are using metal tanks against the good guys…yeah the Fire Nation has tanks…well makes sense for them if u ask me…

Anyways the eclipse started which means Aang can now go attack the Fire Lord…..so Aang flies up to the Fire Lord’s palace to fight him…but he’s not there, the place is empty…..dunn dunn dunn

So now Aang heads back to his group tells them the Fire Lord isn’t there, heck no one’s there…so this means they’re in hiding….so now they have to find where they’re hiding…so they assume a secret underground base, Toph says “if it’s an underground base I’m ur girl for the job”….she really is…

So they locate the underground lair, they make their way over a lava pit, then they have to break into a giant metal door…so Toph taps on it and says not a problem…then starts hitting the weak spots rapidly, then she tears it open with 2 her main fingers on each hand…..damnn

So they find Azula instead of the Fire Lord…they try to get info from her, but she won’t budge…they tell her not to lie which Toph says and I’ll be able to tell…which i love what Azula says, u sure? Because I’m pretty good at it… “I’m a  400 foot tall purple platypus bear…..lolo So Toph says ok ur good but still…….

As they about to leave to find the Fire Lord….Azula angers Sokka by telling her they have his girlfriend Suki held captive…which gets Sokka mad, Toph uses her Bending to pin her to a wall, then Sokka tries angrily asking where is she?….and Azula won’t budge

Anyways so where is Zuko yall are probably wondering? Well he is about to go confront his father and change sides to join the Avatar….woo-hoo, but first he leaves a note for his girlfriend Mai, explaining that he has to leave….so he takes 2 katanas and heads to his father’s hiding throne room….when he enters, his dad says “what are u doing here?” Which Zuko says “I’m here to explain myself”…which the Fire Lord says explaining urself during an eclipse? Hmm this should be interesting…..and this what they say…here’s the conversation

Zuko: firstly in Ba Sing Se, it was Azula who took down the Avatar, not me

Fire Lord Ozai: why would she lie to me about that?

Zuko: because the Avatar is not dead, he survived

Fire Lord Ozai: what!?

Zuko: in fact he’s probably leading this invasion, he could be on his way right now

Fire Lord Ozai: get out! Get out of my sight now! If u know whats good for u!

Zuko: that’s another thing I’m not gonna be taking orders from u anymore

Fire Lord Ozai: u will obey me, or this defiant breath will be ur last!

Zuko: (pulls out katanas) think again, I’m gonna speak my mind and u r gonna listen, for so long all I wanted was for u to love me, fo accept me. I thought it was my honor that I wanted, but really I was just trying to please u. U my father who banished me just for talking out of term. My father who challenged me, a 13 year old to an Agni Kai. How can u possibly justify a duel with a child?

Fire Lord Ozai: it was to teach u respect

Zuko: it was cruel! And it was wrong

Fire Lord Ozai: then u have learned nothing

Zuko: no, I’ve learned everything, and I had to learn it on my own, growing up we were taught the Fire nation was the greatest civilization in history, and somehow the war was our way sharing our greatness with the world.  What an amazing lie that was, the people of the world are terrified of the Fire Nation. They don’t see our greatness, they hate us. And we deserve it, we’ve created an era of fear in the world. And if we don’t want the world to destroy its self, we need to replace it with an era of piece and kindness

Fire Lord Ozai: (laughs) ur uncle has gotten to u hasn’t he?

Zuko: yes, he has. After I leave here today I’m gonna free uncle Iroh from his prison, and I’m gonna beg for his forgiveness.  He’s the one who’s been a real father to me

Fire Lord Ozai: (laughs) that’s just beautiful, and maybe he can pass u down the ways of tea and falliure

Zuko: but I’ve come to a more important decision, I’m gonna join the Avatar, and I am gonna help him defeat u

Fire Lord Ozai: really? Since ur a full blown traitor now and u want me gone why wait? I’m powerless, u have ur swords why don’t u just do it now?

Zuko: because that’s not my own destiny, taking u down is the Avatars destiny.  Goodbye (walks away)

Fire Lord Ozai: coward! U think ur brave enough to face me bur u only do it during an eclipse, if u have an real courage u will stay until the sun comes out. Don’t u want to know what happend to ur mother?

Zuko: (stops) what happened that night?

Fire Lord Ozai: my father, Fire Lord Azulon had commanded me to do thr unthinkable to u my own son. And I was gonna do it, ur mother found out, and swore she’d protect u at any cost. She knew I wanted the thrown so she proposed a plan, a plan in which where I would become Fire Lord and ur life would be spared.

Fire Lord Ozai: ur mother did vicious treasonous things that night, she knew the consequences and accepted them, for her treason she was banished.

Zuko: so she’s alive?

Fire Lord Ozai: perhaps, but now I realize that banishment is far merciful for penalty of treason, ur penalty will be far steeper.

Then in that moment the eclipse starts to end so now they have there Fire Bending powers back, so without any hesitation Fire Lord Ozai shoots giant bolts of lighting towards his own son, wow what a piece of shite he is…but his son is able to hold the lighting back in place and redirect it back to his father, because uncle Iroh taught him that trick…

The lightning hits back at him and causes a small fire and causes the fire Lord to fly backwards into the wall, as he stands up slowly with an anger on his face…his son vanishes..

BTW Ozai anger face his giving to me doesn’t seem like the anger face of that piece of shite didn’t die…but instead a of course my brother Iroh taught him that, kinda angry face….also heres the entire clip

So now since the Fire Bending back on Azula escapes and tells the group Fire Lord Ozai is down the hall to the left…(or was it the right I forget?) Anyway so thr gang ends up leaving because the eclipse is over, they lost there advantage…..and Zuko goes to free Iroh but when he gets there the cell door is open and the guard is on the floor…Zuko asks the guard where is Iroh? Which the gaurd says I couldn’t tell, he was so strong like a one man army…I’ve never seen anything like that before…

So yeah the gang has lost, so Katara and Sokkas father and the rest of the group send all the kids of the group including Aang and the group off on Oppa to get somewhere safe…while the adults stay behind to get arrested, dunn dunn dunn…

So eventually they find an abandoned temple to hide out at….Zuko finds his way to them. They don’t trust him of course, so he has to gain there trust….but they don’t give him a chance, he accidentally tells them that he sent the 3 eyed assassin on them…which he insults himself later that why would he tell them that!? Why didn’t he just say Azula sent him on them!? They’d believe that!? Ughh stupid me!…

Also Toph later tries to sneak up on Zuko to recruit him because the gang being too stupid since Aang needs a Fire Bending teacher and no one in the group knows Fire Bending…but he’s a sleep so she accidentally startles him, he wakes up and accidentally burns her feet….ouch

So the 3 eyed assassin shows up tor base, Zuko comes and helps defeat the assassin….Aang thanks Zuko and tells him I think ur supposed to be my Fire Bending teacher, and now Toph can find a way to get him back for burning her feet….and now he’s apart of the team, they give him his own room and Sokka says to Aang, ok this feels weird….yeah I don’t blame him for that…

Let’s skip over a bit, so he starts teaching Aang but first he needs to figure out the true meaning of Fire because he’s now having trouble producing fire..so he and Aang gi visit the original place where Fire Bending was discovered….where they find a cult group called the children of the sun, and the 2 of them encounter 2 deagons who show them the 2 different colors of fire…orange and blue, showing  them that the meaning of Fire isn’t harm or destruction, but instead healing….whatever that means…so they both perform there moves they learned in front of the team

6Rhey clap and Katara says what lovely dancing that was, maybe we can use that to defeat the Fire Nation..

Zuko: it’s not a dance! It’s a important Fire Bending move that was created thousands of years ago!

Katara: oh yeah? What was the move called?

Zuko: (looks embarrassed) the dancing dragon

Everyone breaks out in laughter….yeah I agree that’s funny

So if yall wondering how Zuko gains the trust of Sokka and Katara?

Well he goes and helps take Sokka to the prison his girlfriend and his dad would be locked up at, which is near a volcano….also Zuko helps break him in….on the way they’re in a hot air balloon, they both reminisce over there first dates……Zuko says I had to part ways with Mai, which Sokka says the silent goth chick?

Which Zuko says yeah, I didn’t want to involve her into this she didn’t need to, so I broke it off with her by a note…which Sokka says that’s tough man, my first girlfriend turned into the moon…which Zuko says that’s rough man…yeah no kidding, so they get to the base disguise themselves as guards….Sokka finds Suki….he says don’t recognize me? Here u might remember me if i…he leans in to kiss her, so she punches him across to a wall which his helmet falls off revealing its Sokka…she hugs him happily while tearing up a little, awww

Then Sokka recruits Suki on his and Zuko team to break out his father and men…basically the rest of thr resistance, also I enjoy this conversation….Zuko introduces himself to Suki and she says I know who u r…and he says u do? She says we already met, and he said we did? When? She says when u burnt down the town of Kyoshi…ooopps…which Zuko says oh right sorry….

Also Zuko ends up getting captured and put in a cell, where Mai enters in his cell..he asks how come u r here? She says hello my father is the warden….ohhh, she’s mad at Zuko for breaking up with her via note…he explains he didn’t mean to hurt her, he just didn’t want to involve her in what he’s getting himself into…..he says this isn’t about her…but he hopes she can understand him…

So anyways, they find Sokkas father and he almost gets punched by his dad because he’s wearing guards disguise…well that’s 2 times in one day Sokka was basically a human punching bag….so they now have to break out but how? Well there’s an incline leading up and down to the prison so all they have to do is get onto it…how they do that? Easy start a prison riot….so they get onto the incline and head up the mountain slowly…

Then Azula and Ty Lee come show up then start running up the incline wires….so now the gang has to fight them on the cart…so eventually they are able to escape because Mai comes and helps out by pulling the lever to let the incline go up since the Guards pulled the lever down…so now Azula is mad at Mai, she asks what were u thinking…which Mai says maybe u just don’t understand people, u miscalculated….which Azula screams no ur wrong ur the one who miscalculated…and is about to attack Mai, but theb Ty Lee uses here Chackra powers to stun Azula….dunn dunn dunn

So now Azula has her guards lock them up forever…wow such a great friend she was…anyways now onto how Zuko gains Kataras trust….so she’s still lashing out at Zuko, which Zuko feels something Is wrong, so he asks Sokka why she is resenting him? He can tell that there’s another reason and she’s lashing out on him….Sokka mentions it’s not a memory I like reliving…but basically the Fire Nation attacked our home when we were kids, some of the men and the leader or the group came into there tent asking where the last water Bender is..

The mother said ill only tell u if u let my daughter go plz, and he says u heard ur mother…so Katara leaves….and the mother tells the guards and leader there is no other water Benders…they killed them all, he ends up killing her….she sacrificed her life to protect Katara who was the last Water Bender in her tribe…gosh that is sad…

So now that Zuko knows he tells Katara that he knows who killed her mother….so both them try to head out on Oppa, but Aang tries to stop them….both Katara and Zuko won’t take no for an answer….he refuses, so they both try to sneak out at night behind there back but Aang and Sokka find out which leads to this conversation that I like

Aang: so u were gonna take Oppa anyway?

Katara: yes

Aang: it’s OK, because I forgive u. That give u any ideas?

Katara: don’t try to stop us

Aang: I wasn’t planning to, this is a journey u need to take. U need to face this man,

Katara: (nods)

Aang: but when u do, please don’t choose revenge.  Let ur anger out, and then let it go. Forgive him.

Zuko: Ok, we’ll be sure to do that, Guru Goody-Goody.

Katara: thanks for understanding Aang (Yip Yip)

So anyways they attack a Fire Nation station, the guys tell them the guy is old and retired down at his moms farm…so they head to that place….where we see his a miserable old man who gets yelled at by his mom…so he walks outside to door chores and there’s Zuko and Katara standing in front of him in the rain…

She asks him do u remember me? Then tells him to take a good long look at her to remember…which he says I remember u, ur that little girl from the ice village…..uhhhh how could he tell? Anyways Katara reveals she was the Water Bender….then she’s about to kill the guy but he’s now an old pathetic man, he says plz plz don’t hurt me…since I took my mom from u it’s fair u take my mom…yes take my mom……but Katara doesn’t kill him, she just cant…

So back at the gang she reveals she just couldn’t kill him, no she didn’t forgive him she never will…but she couldn’t kill him, but she’s ready to forgive Zuko…aww that’s sweet…

So now let’s skip to the last episode, so in the final episode..the final showdown against the Fire Lord, our group is just relaxing on a beach taking there time….which Zuko seems a bit on edge, he thinks they’re taking things too lightly….u know taking there times, I mean fair…They’re finally relaxing, they’ve not done that for a while….also Sokka is building a sand module of Suki all through it looks more like a blob fish…yeah he sucks at art, even Toph and Aang laugh at him for that…understandably

So the gang wonder why Zuko is on edge….he tells them that they only have like 1 day before Sozins Comet arrives….we need to take out the Fire Lord…Aang and the gang reveals that Aang was gonna hold off on fighting the Fire Lord after Sozins Comet…..they knew all along and didn’t tell Zuko….oooyyyy

Zuko says why didn’t u tell me this? And they say not like things can get worse which Zuko reveals that no things will get worse…apparently when Zuko changed back sides to the Fire Nation side he attended one of his father’s meetings, where he finds out that Fire Lord has a plan to use his extra power from Sozins Comet to wipe out every other nation’s and the Fire Nation will rise up from the ashes then create a new world of Fire Nations….ohhh noo no no this is not good not good at all…even the group agrees, Sokka says I knew the Fire Lord is a bad guy but this is a bit much…

And Aang seems to be having a mid life crisis over this….yeah understandably…so Aang leaves on his own to talk to the past Avatars to get there knowledge because everyone expects him to kill Fire Lord Ozai, but he can’t bring himself to kill anyone…..yeah yeah fair fair, so the gang Now have to go find Aang….so Zuko inlits help from a bounty hunter he knows named June and her blind mount animal friend named Nyla….he hired her originally to hunt down the Avatar before to kill them….now he needs her help to track him….

BTW I forgot to mention the Fire Lord is sending him and his tropes on there ships to go destroy every part of the world…..also if yall didn’t think he’s crazy yet just wait…because he names Azula the new Fire Lord…say what now? And he lables himself and I wish that I was kidding, the Phoenix Lord….yep he’s lost his mind, also his men put in his new bulky shoulder pads with a cape and a helmet on him…they reveal the new flags as a Phoenix logo, ok does anyone else think he’s a few screws loose from being a whacko?

So they try tracking down the Avatar, who do they end up not locating him, what a bummer…..so Zuko ends up finding his uncle Iroh eventually in a tent then he goes and apologizes to Iroh, he says I don’t know how to gain ur trust…he breaks into tears he says hes so sorry…then Iroh turns around and hugs Zuko..

Zuko: how can u forgive me that quickly? Thought u hated me?

Iroh: I never hated u, I was sad that u have lost ur way….

Awww this scene pulls at my heart strings….so now the group cone up with the plan for when Aang needs help, Zuko mentions to Iroh that he should become king, but he doesn’t wantto..he says kt needs to be u Zuko…besides I am gonna go save Ba Sing Se and reopen my tea shop….here’s the clip along with him and the White Lotus saving Ba Sing Se

So they head out with Suki to take down the Phoenix Lord and his army of flying ships….bet yall wondering why’s Sokka and Katara father and his men not joining? Yeah idk why either but still….so Toph, Suki and Sokka head on to one of the blimps….which is the Fire Nations flying machines, while Zuko and Katara head down on Oppa towards the Fire Nation palace to stop Azula during her coronation….

BTW Azula is loosing her mind, she is firing her maids because of small imperfections and now she’s talking to her dead mom and seeing her dead mom in a mirror….yep she’s officially lost it oh and she cuts some her bangs off her own so now she has wonky messy hair, oh joy….yep she’s lost it…

Also her mom tells her she’s loves Azula, but seems Azula has no idea how to react to that properly…she just holds back her tears and tosses her comb at the mirror shattering it…in all fairness she was raised by a mass homicidal dictator with a God complex…so yeah u know, I’m surprised Zuko somehow stayed sane compared to Azula….btw she was always insane when she was a kid as well…like I said something is mentally messed up with her…

So anyways Aang locates the Phoenix Lord on his blimp….Aang attacks him, then Ozai tears his shirt and cape and helmet off..so now he’s shirtless, oh joy…so they head on top of 2 tall rocks to fight each other….Aang tries to reason with him by saying plz u don’t have to do this u have the power to end this…which firstly why try reasoning with a megalomaniac? And to no one’s shocker Ozai says ur right I do have all the power…I have all the power in the world!! (As he’s shooting flames out his arms and mouth) Ok Aang ur screwed..Also yes aang is there, the group notices…yayyy….

So they start fighting….so anyways Zuko and Katara make it to Azula as she’s being crowned, Zuko challenges Azula to a duel..she accepts, while Katara is wondering why did Zuko do that…yeah why?

So iroh and the white lotus head to Ba Sing and free the city of the Fire Nation…they destroy their tanks and armies, also I forgot to mention guess who’s apart of the White Lotus? The swordman who taught Sokka how to use a sword….I knew it, I knew that thing he gave him meant something, so anyways last final thing Iroh does to retake Ba Sing Se..he burns down the Fire Nation flags…yayyy

So Toph and Suki plus Sokka find there way into a blimp, they attack the other blimps….both Sokka and Toph head out to jump onto another blimp while Suki controls that blimp they were in……so they land onto a blimp, and start attacking the Fire Nation on board the ship…..anyways the blimp eventually starts tiltl8ng sideways a bit because the guys at the wheel get knocked out…so Sokka ans Toph are hanging off the side for dear life…Sokka holding onto the railing floor while Toph is holding onto his hand, he asks her to hold on..which she says u got it….it’s really nice to see Toph trusting her friends and putting her life in there hands…..

Anyways he looses his sword it falls, and he tries his boomerang but it doesn’t come back…so as it seems to be the end of our 2 heroes, Toph sheds a tear….which is really rare for her to do…so that shows u how dire the situation is, so then they drop but as soon as they do they land on a blimp…yayyy, Toph asks what happened? Was it boomerang? Which Sokka says no it is Suki…yeah Suki is piloting the ship from the back wing on the outside….damn that’s so cool…

So back to Aang he’s still fighting Ozai, alright back to Zuko he’s battling Azula….he taunts her saying what? No lightning? Afraid of getting ur hair lit on fire?…which she says ohh I’ll show u lightning! Then she summons lightning, Zuko gets into possession to deflect it back but she decides to shoot the lightning to Katara, ohhhh snap, so Zuko jumps in the way taking all the lighting which causes him to collapse onto the floor…and shockingly Katara is sad and shocked…

Now Azula attacks Katara, while laughing all Maniacally…..so that fight ends with Azula surrounding Azula with a water bubble. In that moment Katara chains Azula to the floor then she runs over to Zuko to heal him…he thanks her but she says I think I’m the one who should be thanking u….which leads to one of the most sad moments in this show in my opinion…role clip

So yeah Azula defeated she has a bit of a panic attack, she breaths heavily then breaths blue fire out of her mouth and starts squirming around then collapses on the floor sobbing alot….no one is happy here, this isn’t a victory where our heros are happy, Katara is looking away in shock and Zuko is staring in shock with a blank expression….while his psychotic sister is basically loosing it in front of them….

Fun fact the actress who voices Azula refuses to watch this episode, because the way they got the actress to cry for this scene well…they left her in a room all alone and she digged down in her mind to her most traumatic memory, which caused her to break out into tears and crying…so this scene u see here is actually the actress crying, damn yeah u don’t blame her for now wanting to rewatch this it be to what’s the word to much for her…

Anyway so back to Aang, he gets pushed into some rocks but then all the past Avatars possess Aang to help him….with all their might he grabs Ozais goatee and punches the guy forward as he tries punching Aang…then Aang pins Ozai to the floor and all the past Avatars start saying Ozai u and ur past fathers have brought unbalance to this universe, now prepare for the ultimate consequence….also Ozai is in shock, he looks scared which is a first for him…yeah we never seen Ozai scared before….well guess this is a scary moment lolo….

But Aang doesn’t kill Ozai instead he stops and as Ozai is about to attack, Aang takes his hand and places it on Ozai forhead and this bright light of orange and blue shines up out of both of them and he takes away all of Ozais powers..say what now? Also here’s the entire final fight scene against Ozai…

Anyways the gang reunites with Aang while Ozai is unconscious….Suki asks is he, and Ozai wakes up saying I’m still alive…which causes them to freeze in shock…Aang says I did the second best thing, taking his powers away…..so this causes Suki and Toph and Sokka to insult the Phoenix Lord by making nicknames up for him…but Suki somehow is bad at coming up with nicknames lolo, so anyways…

Prince Zuko gets crowned king in front of everyone/every nation, also his girlfriend Mai got out of prison, she’s now back with Zuko…aww so sweet, Zuko and Aang tell each other their friends…and Zuko says we will make the world better together….Zuko walks out on the stage, everyone cheers but he says plz the real hero is the Avatar….then the Avatar comes on stage and everyone cheers, including his friends….how sweet…

Zuko gets crowned, and now he’s Fire Lord Zuko, he says the road ahead of us is tough but we will get through it together…….after the orientation, Zuko goes visits his father who’s in prison…good for him he deserves to be in prison, Zuko mentions that maybe ur time in here can make u a better person like my banishment did for me…which Ozai says why are u here? And Zuko says ur gonna tell me something…where is my  mother?

Then the final shot of this show is of the gang including Zuko having tea at uncle Irohs tea shop….and Sokka is telling everyone that he’s drawing them trying to capture the moment, oh no bet how that’s gonna turn out…well they come to look at the picture and this is their reaction..I think this explains it all

Katara: that’s really sweet of u Sokka, wait why did u give me Momos ears?

Sokka: those are ur hair loopies

Zuko: at least u don’t look like a porcupine. My hair is not that spiky

Mai: I look like a man

Suki: and why did u paint me Fire Bending?

Sokka: I thought it looked more exciting that way

Momo :(speaks gibberish)

Sokka: ohz u think u could do a better job Momo?

So Aang walks outside so does Katara and they both kiss each other…and that’s how the series ends, overall I freaking loved this season its one of my favorites…I loved the emotional weight the story and the characters had, the story is beautiful…I don’t know how I feel about Netflix reviving this series into a live action remake, btw here’s the trailers for that

So overall I’ll give this season a solid 10/10…I highly recommend this show
