The Magnus Archives: so firstly I wanna start off by telling y’all how I stumbled upon this podcast….

I actually didn’t stumble upon it, my sister recommended it to me….I’m really glad she did because I’ve been engulfed into the story so far….keep in mind I’m only 30 episodes in and there are 200ish episodes…each episode is up to 30 minutes, yeah Jesus Christ is correct…..

So there u guys have it this is what the Magnus Archives is like and I gotta say I highly recommend listening to it, it’s really worth the listen to….I’ll post link to it for both YouTube and Spotify

Oh yes it’s as good as it sounds, and it’s a blessing for horror fans……so now with that out of the way I’m gonna describe 2 stories at least to give yalll an idea of what the podcast is like….besides don’t wanna spoil too much besides I wanna give yall something to listen to…..So in one episode, I forget the title of the episode but in this episode, our main character Jonathan sits down and records a tale from a file he found…in this specific file a girl goes to this class where she notices a strange guy Graham, anyways Graham is a strange guy according to our female character, she doesn’t know how he’s weird but there’s something off about him….

Anyway, one night when she enters a bus she notices Graham so she decides to go sit near him, once she gets to her stop she finds out that Graham is going to the same location as her, she doesn’t want him to know where she lives….yeah probably understandable, but he’s walking exactly at the same area she’s going to…..anyways then someone pushes her onto the road a car almost hits her….Graham asks her if she’s OK but she can’t get the words out correctly, so he calls an ambulance….the ambulance arrives and tells her she’s OK just has a concussion….that she shouldn’t stay alone for the night, so Graham offers to come to take care of her….he eases her worry by saying I am not into girls I’m gay….so that makes her feel little more easy……so he takes her upstairs and takes care of her…she notices he has a coffee table with a weird pattern she keeps getting drawn to…

So after that night, getting to know a little more about Graham, guess what she starts doing every day even after her classes? Easy she makes a hobby of spying through her window to spy on Graham….hmmm not creepy at all seems completely normal….lololo, so every day she spies on him through her window which is just creepy even though she says it’s not supposed to be creepy…uh huh, yeah totally not creepy at all….no sir nothing creepy about this lolo….

Amyways so during her time of spying on him, God that sounds weird, she notices how weird Graham is…..like he’s weird weird he only orders in pizza to it plus she one day caught him ripping pages out of his journal and started eating the pages….uhh eww, also he doesn’t have a TV he just sits there does nothing heck doesn’t read either…..again just sits there, ok what a weird guy, especially the eating the pages out of a journal thing….anyways if yall think that’s eerie or strange, oh don’t worry things get a whole lot weirder…

So one night she’s spying in on him, and she ends up noticing a pipe that randomly appeared that wasn’t there before….she thought it was a water pipe but nope instead it’s an elongated arm that starts moving, and shifting into something…..uhhhh…..he shapes shifts into a completely different guy who now has blonde hair…so no longer he is Graham, well things got strange really quickly…..don’t worry it gets weirder she calls the cops tell them she saw a stranger enter his room and come investigate it so they do…

But they get there and she sees across the window that the cops don’t seem worried and they look at the guy’s passport and laugh then they hand back the passport and leave…..ok that’s suspicious, anyways ever since then Graham has disappeared instead now it’s this new guy who replaced him, he’s been getting rid of everything that was steves….heck her school mates don’t remember who Graham is dunn dunn dunn….

So the girl decided to leave and put all this behind her, which is understandable because what she saw was horrifying….also the not Graham has gotten rid of everything Graham had, and owned…so then the tape ends, now time for Jonathan to give his view of the file…..he says we did some digging we couldn’t find anything about this Graham guy, but we did find one journel we believe was Graham’s…when we told the woman that she didn’t want to do any interview with us she wanted to ignore all this put it behind her….

Even so, if we told her all we found was a journal that we can’t confirm that came from Graham but what it says in the journal is interesting the journal had one sentence repeated, “keep on watching”…….oh Jesus that’s eerie…..recording ends…

Now for the second story, we will be looking at today so in this specific episode we get that’s called The Boneturners Tale, in this episode Jonathan narrates a file he found in the Magnus Organization, this file so happens to be about a guy Sebastian who works at a library….anyways this guy loves books, he’s always considered them to have some sort of power….yeah yeah I know it sounds all delusional, but he’s just obsessed with books….anyways he once had this friend named Jared, I say used to because they’re no longer friends…..they’ve cut ties with each other ever since one of them graduated from a collage that the other one wanted to but didn’t……

Yeah understandable then….but anyways one day Sebastian notices a book he’s never seen before called The Boneturner’s Tale, it looks to be made of some sort of fabric but he can’t place his finger on what fabric it is….anyways his friend Jared sees the book and instantly grabs it and says I need to go home and read it, which is weird because Jared doesn’t read….anyways he takes the book then Jared goes missing he hasn’t been seen for a while….

But then one morning Jared’s mother comes in all angry with his arms snapped back for some reason, like the bones in her arms been warped…she slams the damn book on the table and says this book isn’t welcome then he asks how’s Jared…which the mother shows deep anger and says u have no right to ask how he is….then she leaves, ok that was eerie….is anyone gonna mention about the fact that her bones were snapped in wrong way….no ok then

Yeah if yall can’t guess he’s mortified about seeing Jared’s mother with her limbs bent, anyways if yall think that’s the worst part oh no no no the worst part is yet to come….for u see one night he is working overnight to put books away….which is apart of his job lolo but then all a sudden this figure wearing a fedora and a trench coat comes in through the door….but there’s something off about this guy but he doesn’t know what’s wrong with this guy btw this guy is Jared…..dunn dunnn dunnn, anyways Jared asks him for the Boneturner book back, he extends his arm out but his fingers seem to be sharp and pointy….

As he’s about to hand the book over he slaps the guy but something feels off, the skin on the guy felt little rubbery, it bounced back into position……uhhhgg, then I love the guys reaction he says to Jared, u know what ur right take it…it’s not mine it ain’t my problem……lolo yeah smart decision, so Jared yanks the book runs out and is never seen again……after that the guy calls the police tells them a guy broke in stole some books, which apparently worked because they did find a book missing and a warrant for Jared got put out but he was never seen again and that he found out the book came from this place called Jurgen Leitener’s Library……statement ends

So now time for Jonathan’s perspective, he basically says well this made me deeply unhappy….I’ve barley scratched the surface of the Magnus Archives, and have already discovered evidence of 2 surviving books from Jurgen Leitener’s Library…….ohhhhhhh yep this is one of the many times one of the podcast episodes is connected to a previous podcast episode….plz keep that in mind most of these stories connect….

Anyway, he says I believe this guy because I have seen what the previous book from the same Library can do, also he mentions that there was an arrest warrant for Jared but he was never found again…it’s like he vanished, but the crime wasn’t that bad so they didn’t keep it open for too long….anyways they tried to go find Jared’s friend for an interview but they found out he passed away in 2006, he was found lying dead on the middle of the road his bones all mangled up….he had a closed casket funeral….yeah understandable no one would wanna look at that, it be Haunting and traumatizing…..recording ends

Overall I’ll be giving this podcast a solid 9.8/10 only reason I give it that is because there are a few stories that I wouldn’t say are amazing but still…..thanks yall for coming here today hope yall enjoy the review and hope yall enjoy the podcast….
