Star Wars Comic Old Wounds: so I firstly wanna mention that in my humble opinion, this is a better version of the Darth Maul vs Obi-Wan than what we got in Star Wars Rebels…..just My opinion….so let’s get onto the review shall we?

So in this comic it starts off with a young Luke and his uncle Owen looking at the scenery outside but then uncle Owen notices a hooded figure running towards them in the distance at a very fast pace….he uses his binoculars and notices yep its a humanoid hooded figure running at them very fast so he tells aunt Beru to take the kid inside and give him his rifle, something is about to go down….

So Beru brings Owen his rifle, he starts shooting around at the figure….telling him to stay back, but the figure is dogging his shots uh oh…then the figure comes up yanks the gun out of his hands and smashes it against Owen’s head, he then starts speaking out to no one about how he followed the kid here he’d know that u would show up if I threatened the kid, I followed u ever since saw u on Mustafar…..I also followed u to Watoo where I killed him then I tracked u here…..then Obi-Wan comes busting out of the sand and says this time u won’t escape and he takes out his lightsaber….

The hooded figure pulls down his hood revealing it to be Darth Maul he survived being cut in half, he has these metallic robot legs that look very similar to General Grievous legs….he then pulls out his new duel-bladed lightsaber and attacks Obi-Wan…..they fight against each other, Obi-Wan knocks some horns off of Maul’s head….
Then Obi-Wan cuts Maul’s arm off then aims his lightsaber to Mauls head threatening to kill him….but instead a shot comes out from nowhere shooting Maul on the side of the head, its uncle Owen he shoots Maul yayyy…

Owen tells Obi-Wan they don’t need his help anymore he’s not welcome here….so Obi-Wan heads out back into the desert to leave them alone and this was in my opinion my favorite version of the end of Darth Maul…..this was a comic created way before the clone wars show btw…..also heres a video that describes this comic and the display model of him it came with when this comic came out back in the early 2000s, enjoy the video

Overall I actually really enjoyed this comic like alot I’m gonna give this comic a solid 9.5/10
