The Mandalorian Season 3: Let’s start off with a trailer shall we

Oh dear lord this season jeepers so I originally wasn’t gonna write a review on this show but I got to, so I can address the stupidity of this season…….I’ll give a brief rundown I think of this season then I’ll give u my complaints because I really wanna get into the issues…

Ok rundown so the plot I think of this season is all about the Mandalorians wanting to put their differences aside and reunite to go take over Mandalor again yep that’s the plot or at least I think that’s the plot idk I had to sit and think about it for a while and this is the best I could come up with because what I saw when watching this show was just a bunch of random episodes that don’t truly feel like they connect together….

The first issue with this season that comes to mind is it seems to me the people behind this season had no idea where the show would go….and funny enough in an interview with John Favreau he said and I quote “honestly I have no idea where I’m going with the story anymore, heck I don’t know how many seasons this show will go on for” well this season really just backed that statement up……it’s abundantly clear he doesn’t have a goal where this show will go to……it’s just a bunch of random events that happens

Now u really wanna talk about the infamous episode where in this season for 1 episode we get cameos of

Jack Black

Lizoo

Christopher Lloyd

Yeah I wish that I was kidding when I said those names but nope we got those 3….btw Lizoo isn’t even an actress she’s a singer keep that in mind…..in this episode jeepers how desperate was Disney exactly? I mean Jack Black really? I can’t buy Jack Black being in star wars and after this episode I sure as hell can’t…..because the issue is he just acts like Jack Black, with his Jack Black-erisms…….now to give a quick rundown of this episode so Mando and Bokatan land on this planet that is run by Jack Black who’s an ex imperial officer….and his lady friend Lizoo, they ask them to investigate a bunch of robot incidents that’s been going around…..meaning thr robots are malfunctioning…..so they both go investigate it…..btw it’s like the showrunners have no idea what to do with Mando because he’s back to reverting himself to hating robots even though he was progressing out of that phase….sighhh

Also he gets sidelined in his own show oh freaking whoopie doo…..anyways so both of them find out that the commander in charge of the city played by Christopher Lloyd is behind making the robots go haywire because get this he was a separatist supporter and he wants life to go back to the good old days during when Dooku was running things…..sighhhhh…….so there’s that pointless episode oh and the episode ends with Mando just giving the dark Saber to Bokatan because I guess u can just do that know all though it was established u have to win it in a fight…..glad to see they stopped caring about the lore….btw here’s images of thr cameos in this episode

Also let’s talk about the fact Grogu gets a robot body in this season here’s that annoying clip

Groan sighhhhhh thanks Disney u made him even more annoying…….anyways now I quickly wanna mention the last 2 episodes and this will end my rant on this series……so in the final 2 episodes Moff Gideon returns legitimately out of nowhere……and he’s having a conversation with other imperial officers on holograms……here’s where I started groaning, they name-dropped Grand Admiral Thrawn and General Hux’s dad…..I said sighhh Firstly u people at Disney are trying too hard to tie this into the sequel trilogy and trying too hard to make sense of that trilogy and secondly u name dropping Grand Admiral Thrawn here just makes it seem like a blatant way to set up ur next Disney live-action series the Ashoka series……sighhhh

So anyways the Mandalorians show up to stop Moff Gideon, he also now has a new suit, he’s wearing a black and red Mandalorian helmet of his own and had a jetpack on….ok what is he exactly? Is he supposed to be an imperial officer? Or a Mandalorian? Which is he? Sighh anyways he kidnaps Mando, they then try to save him where they stumble upon Gideons plan its to make clones of himself……huh? I thought they where tying the whole cloning thing into the sequel trilogy to explain how the emperor got cloned. Not u know Moff Gideon cloning himself….jeepers do any yall at Disney have a plan or u guys just making shite up as it goes? Anyways they blow up the base and they leave……hurray I guess, and Moff Gideon might be dead hurray…..

Anyways Mando finally adopts Grogu….the Armour names him Din Grogu which btw ilk never call him that because that’s just a stupid name….Grogu was already fine, calling him Din Grogu sounds dumb, so then Din and Grogu go live alone on a farmhouse his old pal left for him…..yada yada the end……oh and this season doesn’t give an idea what season 4 could be about or get u excited….what ended up happening for me was I no never want to see another season of Mando again….plz Disney just stop, u kinda started ruining this when u just had to bring back Mando and Grogu together in the book of Boba Fett didn’t yall? Sighh I honestly hated this season specifically that Jack Black and Lizoo episode jeepers that was a filler episode at its finest….so overall ehhhh 1/10
