Star Wars Return of The Jedi 40th Anniversary: yes u heard that right……40th anniversary Jesus lord its been that long since return of the jedi came out……now I bet yall are wondering wait a minute didn’t u review Return of the Jedi already? Well yes I did, the reason I’m doing it again is because this time they released it back in theaters and for the first time ever I got to see it on the big screen, I’ve finally saw a classic star wars film on the big screen…..which that was a great experience

It actually made me miss films as good as that…….everything still holds up to this dry, the puppetry, the CGI (kinda), the acting, the action, the soundtrack of course is a banger……we all know that……funny thing when going into this film me and my friend at least saw a handful of people come dressed in robes, and brought in there lightsabers with them…..what is this a convention center or something lolo

So I wanna quickly mention that my opinion on this film still stays the same if anyone wants to know my opinion on this film yall should go read my review in the star wars section but I’ll give a quick rundown of the film

So in this film Luke comes up wit a plan to save Han from Jabba and that plan involves sending the 2 droids in first as bate then Leia come in disguise holding Chewbacca hostage…..then Luke come here last if all else fails, but of course Jabba won’t bargain so he tries feeding Luke to rancor but Luke kills rancor so Jabba sends them to death at the pit of sarlac…….anyways once they escape they make it back to the rebel fleet who now have to take on the empire because the emperor himself is overseeing the construction on the new death star that’s yet to be operational

So they send the gang down on the forest moon of Endor, in a stolen imperial shuttle so they can go down there and deactivate the shield generator that’s protecting the death star….anyways on the planet they get captured by Ewoks who are cute little teddy bears….they team up with them after thinking C3PO is a God lolo….he tells them the context of the empire so they help the rebels take on the empire oh joy

Anyway Luke leaves and Vader meets him down on the planet to take him back to the emperor……where Luke does confronts the emperor, anyways the entire rebel fleet comes out of nowhere to attack the death star and the fleet….also the rebel attack is being led by Lando Calrissian……anyways Han and his gang do eventually get the shields down so Lando and his fleet go inside to blow up the death star…..while Luke is duking it out with Vader

Anyway film ends with Vader turning back to the light side, kills his master….saves his son…..Lando blows up the death star and the whole galaxy celebrities the fact the empire is dead…..hurray the end…..

Anyways I still have my same opinion on this film it’s not my favorite out of the original, but I loved the theater experience…..also I slightly hated this version because they put the Vader screaming noooo although the original version didn’t have that, booooo on u Disney……so overall I’d give this theater experience a solid 9.5/10 and the film a solid 4/10
