Evil Dead 2013: well firstly let’s start off with a trailer shall we?

Secondly I wanna quickly mention that if any of yall don’t like gore especially tons of gore ur not gonna wanna watch this film or read my review also warning there’s gonna be massive spoilers ahead…..yall been warned…..so let’s get into this review shall we?

So our film takes place in a cabin in the middle of the woods, shocker so the reason our main characters who are named

Mia Allen

Natalie

David Allen

Eric

Olivia

Anyway there here to help Mia get rid of her heroin addiction…..yeah in my opinion this film gives a logistical reasoning for why our main characters are here and why they don’t leave……let me explain So she dumps her heroin into a well then they decide to stay here till she recovers from quitting cold turkey….honestly these are such good friends she has, she’s lucky anyways so unfortunately for them Eric finds a secret hole in the floor leading to a basement where he finds the Necronomicon and some vinyls…..SMH….anyways shocker he reads the book and listen to the tape which unleashes evil…….also he finds out that the demons need to sacrifice 5 victims to release a big evil that will end humanity, uh oh also the creatureis called the abomination….thats definitelya name thats for sure…..anyways Mia is walking alone in the woods where the vines grab ahold of her and possessing her uh oh……so this is why I say this films clever, she first says she may have gotten possessed by vines and she’s seeing things but no one believes her because she’s a recovering drug addict so that makes sense and they won’t quit on her….once again great friends…..

Now I’m smart enough to well spare yall scenes from this film because trust me it’s truly gory so I’m not rude…..so let’s get into the gruesome stuff, so Mia talks to them in a demonic voice and tells them yall gonna die tonight then she jumps onto Natalie where she vomits out buckets of blood on her….ewwww, then they lock Mia in the basement……anyways so Eric believes Mia isn’t well because of the witch craft he read from…..which he decides to read from again 臘 which this time possesses Olivia which later Eric finds her cutting a knife throw her cheeks and yes it’s as gory as it sounds eww then she stabs Eric but he survives for now also he kills Olivia yayyyy

So later on now our main characters need to figure out what to do with Mia and the situation there going through but unfortunately Natalie pays Mia a visit in the cellar where we get the infamous scene of her taking a pair of scissors and cutting her tongue into a snake like tongue ewwwww….then she gives Natalie a bite on the hand….but the group takes her out the cellar, then they chain the cellar up and nail it……but uh oh Natalie goes and sits in the kitchen starting to feel her hand being possessed so she grabs a hand saw then sighhhh saws her arm off yes we see all of that in gory fashion we also hear the bone get cut in half yikes…..anyways so the group finds out there’s a couple of ways to save Mia one of which is to bury her alive…….so her brother David decides to go with this situation, anyways unfortunately before they can go do this Deadite Natalie shows up with a nail gun shooting it in her face yikes…then she shoots Eric in the arm……yikes then they proceeded to kill Natalie by cutting her other arm off and slicing her but she turns back into human and dies in David’s arms

Anyway, David takes his possessed sister outside puts a plastic bag over her head and buries her then he digs her back up, and uses his car battery to revive her and it works she is back to normal…unfortunately Deadite Eric shows up so David shoots his gasoline tank setting ablaze him and Eric and the house uh oh…..but this means 5 souls have been sacrificed so the abomination comes out of the ground and it’s just a possessed woman….huh? That’s the final baddie of this film? A normal looking possessed person? Well thats kinda anticlimactic if u ask me

Anyways Mia gets a knocked over truck on top of the demons legs which the demon tears her way out of it but her legs tear off ouch also Mia gets her arm stuck underneath and has no choice but to rip it off yikes then she grabs a chainsaw, the demon comes crawling up to her saying I’ll will feast on ur soul….which then Mia says feast on this mother F**ker then she jams the chainsaw through the demons face slicing the demon in half from the head….while blood is pouring all over her from the sky because it’s raining blood and there’s blood spouting out of the demon…..so then the demon absorbs back into the earth and Mia leaves the cabin the end but we do get a post credit scene of just Ash Williams being in front of a black screen saying groovy….then he looks at the camera, here’s that end credit scene

Groovy……so overall I’ll say this is pretty groovy dude…..ok all jokes aside this film is a wonderful gore fest of a film that I enjoyed all the way through….granted it nowhere disturbing as evil dead rise but we will get into that in that review but overall I’ll give this film a solid 8.9/10
