Thor Love and Thunder: Let’s start off with showing yall the trailers shall we

Ok, let’s just get into this review plz because I hate it I absolutely do….so in this film we start off with Thor with the Guardians of the Galaxy and by now u would be thinking maybe this film can be good right? Wrong this film tells u right away it’s gonna not take itself seriously because Star-Lord asks Thor to come down and help fight in a battle which then Thor pulls his hammer axe out of the ground and rides on it down to the battle like it’d a broom and he’s the wicked witch of the west, sighh and this is when I could tell we’re gonna be in for a bumpy ride….and oh boy was I right

Because shortly after he goes down there the town folks tell Thor to rescue their town back but don’t destroy it…wow I wonder if he is gonna destroy it because he’s aloof, wow what a shocker he destroys the city and the enemies…..lolo but he gets rewarded anyways…the town folks give him 2 screaming goats….yeah I wish I was kidding 2 screaming flying goats who just continue to scream throughout this film it might have been funny the first time but by the umpteenth time I just wanted to rip my ears off….btw I wanna quickly mention that the beginning of this film starts off diar…where our main villian named Gor who’s played by Christan Bale and his daughter are walking through the desert starving and thirsty praying to God for water and food unfortunately the daughter dies then shortly after he stumbles upon a God who he asks for help and the God presents himself to be a ginormous dick he says hahahaha ur daughter to bad…..wow what a dick move so then Gor steals this dark blade and makes an oath all God’s will die then he kills this God off

Huh so doesn’t something feel tone deaf here? I mean we started off very Grimm just for the next scene to be all like uhhh doyyyy look at us where goofy and stupid….yeah where definitely in for a ride, don’t worry it gets worse so the Guardians of the Galaxy drops off Thor because there getting sick and tired of him and the screaming goats yeah don’t worry so am i…..so then him and his Rock pal Korg make it back home to New Asguard and this is officially when I could tell this film wasn’t meant for me….we see the new leader who’s Valkyrie is running things, she turned Asguard into a theme park for humans to come to…..if u think that’s bad there’s an ice cream place there named sighh I wish I was joking…the :Infinity Cones”, ha ha? Sighhh God plz give me mercy oh and she does an old spice commercial oh yayy blatant commercial product placement kill me

So anyways that night Gor comes and attacks Asguard steals the children, and while that happens Thor sees his old broken hammer which flies backwards towards Jane Foster yes she’s back and she’s female Thor or lady Thor…..she’s apparently been helping the city out for a while…..how convenient, so they both catch up during the battle and the next day they try to plan how to get the kids back because the parents want their leader to do something to get there kids back…..so Thor and Jane and korg and Valkyrie have the idea to go recruit the best gods to go help them bring back there kids and defeat Gor the got butcher, btw we never In this film get to see him butcher any gods because gotta make it kid friendly I guess……anyways while this is happening Gor is taking the kids to a planet for reasons I forget and on the ride there he’s just toying with them by creeping them out hahah so funny kill me

Anyway if u think that’s dumb how do I even explain this…….the film gives us a dumb sub plot of Thor having a love affair with his new hammer because it’s jealous that he’s talking to his old hammer….yeah I want yall to let that sink in ur head, a hammer is omnipotent and can move, has emotions and is mad at Thor because hes talking to his old hammer he misses, ladies and gentlemen I think we’ve officially hit rock bottom of good writing….a man is having a love affair with his hammer for his old hammer!! Does any of that make any sense!!……sigh also he tries hooking up sith Jane but she’s hiding something which we find out later what that something is….

Anyway they make it to Mount Olympus where we see Zeus played by Russell Crowell of all people kick starting a show in a arena for every mystical creatures and gods…..so Thor decides to go up to him to ask for help….take 2 guesses how that goes….oh and he asks for Zeus lightning volt yeah ok definitely take 1 guess how well that goes ……easy he says no to both, Thor says ur just scared of Gor which Zeus says of course I am scared he is the God butcher…..then he decides to lock Thor in place by chains and says let’s see what ur made of underneath ur cloths and he flicks it off revealing sighhh Thor’s butt and dong…….oh how wonderful hey ladies there’s ur eye candy for the night….hope ur happy people at Marvel, u have given this masterful writing to us….kill me

So Thor and his team escape after knocking Zeus down and destroying the stadium…..oh Thor steals the lightning bolt just to then toss it through Zeus to kill him, ok that was a waste of time then….so now our team gets onto their ship that’s being powered by there screaming goats and they fly away, anyways Thor tires to hit on Jane but she reveals she’s got cancer uh oh and she’s dying…….so Thor takes her to the hospital where they say the cancer is killing her she doesn’t have long to live….btw guess how stupid this scene is, so we find out years and years ago Thor whispers to his hammer to take care of Jane no matter what and the day she gets cancer and is in the hospital….the broken hammer senses her so it rebuilds itself and becomes hers where it gives her Thors power to slow down the cancer but get this get this Thors powers is just increasing the cancer it ain’t stopping it or delaying it….so why would the hammer give her Thors power to help her if it knows that it’s just increasing the cancer? Yeah idk either

So Thor decides to leave Jane behind but Jane decides to come she says we’re not done yet so they head out to the planet where Gor is at….btw I do love this end scene because the fight scene is all in black and white ok that’s cool…..to bad that doesn’t last too long and we get straight into dumb, because Thor frees the kids while Valkyrie and Jane are taking on Gor, and ok this is officially when I started hating this film so Thor tells the kids they have the power all this time in them so they can help him…so he transfers some of his lightning powers to them making them into lighting gods as well…..whattttt!! No sorry what!!? Just what!!m excuse me??!!! Hold up so if Thor could have done this the entire time why did he feel he needed Zeus help and other gods help? What was the point of the entire second act? Oh wait nothing absolutely nothing

So anyways Gor opens up the gate he wants to open up so he can make his wish oh right that’s why he comes here so he can make a wish to bring his daughter back so he makes the wish ans Thor follow him inside unfortunately Gor dies but his daughter is alive so Gor asks Thor take care of her which he agrees….oh and Jane finally dies from her cancer she has her farewell to Thor she dies in his hands and vanishes awwww…..so the film ends with Thor now having a kid to watch oh and she weilds Thors past hammer that’s cool I guess the end….also there’s a post credit scene where Jane Foster ends up in heaven where she gets introduced to by heimdall….

The end overall I hated this film it’s not a good film the issue is Thor Ragnarok was such a success that the director thought he should make tbis 4th film 100 times more goofy but that wasn’t the way to go with it so I hate this film I’m gonna give it a solid 3/10
