Star Trek First Contact: So let’s get into this review shall we…..so in this nearly 2-hour film we have Jean-Luc Picard still having some haunting flashbacks to when he was turned into a Borg 6 years after that happened, it is still haunting him…..anyways the star fleet command thinks he’s not mentally stable as in not capable so they tell him and the crew to stay behind while they go face against the Borg because get this the Borgs are trying there second attempt to take down the star fleet command…….so if ur wondering what is Jean-Luc Picard plan? Well it’s  to time travel 300 years into the past to fight the Borg while this guy named Zefram Cochrane is preparing to launch humanity’s first warp-capable engine, the Phoenix, and make first contact with an alien race……so Jean-Luc Picard sends down William Riker, LA Forge and some team members like 2 others to go down and help make sure this guy stays on task of doing this because this first contact is important, it needs to happen….

If situations weren’t dire enough well the Borg come on board the Enterprise and start taking over the lower parts of the ship…..uhhh oh, so yeah the lower decks now looks like the inside of a Borg ship, so now the crew must start running away from the Borg here is the clip enjoy

So as u can see we got some nightmare fuel moments, mainly in the way the Borgs walk….they look like a bunch of mindless mechanical zombies…..anyways so Data gets captured taken to the lower decks…..if that isn’t bad enough then random woman pilot just randomly comes so he has to protect her…..so while this happens data gets hooked up to a table where he meets the Borg queen here’s the clip

As u can see it’s a dismembered head to the shoulders with a metal spine being lowered down into a synthetic body jeepers that is creepy anyways she offers him one thing to become human if he….so he agrees, anyways back to Jean-Luc Picard and this random chick they go thr bar room where he changes the setting to 1970s where thr borgs follow behind so he takes a tommy gun and shoots them jeepers……anyways shortly after she has a talk with Jean-Luc Picard here’s the clip

She tries to get him to admit that he actually felt joy killing those borgs that they hurt him so he’s gonna hurt them back but he says in this future we don’t Sacom to revenge…..uh huh sure she doesn’t believe that she said she’s seen that look before in tons of men’s eyes before….he says this isn’t about revenge it’s about saving humanity so then she says to blow up the ship then!! Which he says nooo! Noooo!!

Yeah he wants to save humanity but won’t blow up the ship even though it’s been taken over

Anyway so Picard gets word that the Borgs are outside on the ship changing their laser Canon so both Picard and Worf go outside to stop them

This scene is epic, and haunting as u see they have the risk of floating away and getting lost in space but the way they get the Borgs off of Here is by well disconnecting the laser from the ship which means bye-bye laser and bye-bye Borgs…..

So while this is happening, down on earth the team convinces the guy to continue the expedition because he’s feeling doubtful but they tell him how important it is so he continues building it……anyways so Picard sends the woman off the ship while he goes and saves Data and kill off the Borgs to free his ship….as soon as he gets to the lower decks he sees everything has been assimilated……Data is now working for the Borg Queen and half his face is now human….uh oh, the Borgs tie Picard up and the Queen reveals her plan to destroy the expedition ship before it can make first contact with the Vulcans…….uh oh

So the ship gets built so the team and the guy gets inside the ship and takes off as it gets into orbit data launches the missiles to destroy the ship

She says now watch as the ship gets blown up but luckily the missiles miss the ship so yayyy there safe

So Picard looks at Data with a sigh of relief and the borg Queen says Data?……which Data says resistance is futile……..yayyyyyyy then Data punches a canister of toxic gas that can and will melt human skin uh oh so Picard and the Borg queen start climbing up well the borg queen grabs ahold of Picard lolo…..then Data comes out of the toxic clouds with half his robotic face exposed and he grabs the Borg queen knocking her into the gas which we see in gory details her skin starts pealing away down to here robotic skeleton…also the Borgs starts malfunctioning because they’re connected to the Borg Queen…..yayyyy the day is saved

Anyway so back on earth the Vulcans come down and make first contact with the humans, they do their salutes….this marks there first time they will become friends with the humans and the humans with the Vulcans

Anyway so back on the ship Picard finds Data who is still alive he tells Picard he was tempted by her offer…..well that’s understandable anyways the day is saved now thr Borgs are destroyed….humanity is safe once and for all yayyy

Overall I love this film I highly recommend it im gonna give this film a solid 10/10
