Captain America the Winter Soldier: so i want to start off with saying…..I love this movie…..I finally get to review one of my favorite mcu films….hold on because it gets kinda wild from here…..so let’s start also hwres the trailers

So the film starts off with Steve Roger’s out in the morning doing a jog…and he keeps passing a guy named Sam (played by Anthony Mackie) and well let me be more specific what I mean Roger’s keep paying by Sam….well Sam is jogging and since Steve is fast he keeps passing Sam and every time he does he says to sam ” on ur left “…. 🤦‍♂️….so anyways font worry they do become friends……so after their jog, Natasha comes up to Steve in a car…and asks him to get in…she has a mission for him…..so anyways they both team up with a guy named Crossbones…(played by Frank Grillo)…and his group shield men…..and they are now in a Quinn-Jet…and oh right they go attack a ship that’s has pirates on it and who are holding prisoners….

I think……I honestly forget about this small 10 min of the film……so anyways after this mission….like the next day, Nick Fury and captain America enter an elevator because Nick wants to show cap something…..they get to the secret big bunker thats underneath a river….yeah the new shield base has a river infront of it and under the river ss a big bunker….and the big bunker is holding 3 Hellicarriers….so Nick Fury been making 3 Hellicarriers so they can eliminate any threats….before damage can be done…..captain America isn’t happy with this….because he sees this as not freedom…..but as fear…..after this scene we see Nick Fury going to visit his friend named Alexander Pierce (played by Robert Redford), some exposition happens….and anyways next day Nick is riding in his car that has hographic chat on his car window….oh and he has a gun torrent in his car….that sounds awesome….also his car is bullet proof……so anyways a car runs into his car….and he starts getting attacked….and as soon as Nick rides off…..we see a mysterious figure standing in front of the road…..the figure has long brown hair and is wearing black goggles and black mask around his mouth and nose…and he’s wearing a black outfit, and has a robotic arm with red star on the side of his robotic arm….oh and his robotic arm is metallic silver….lastly he is wearing fingerless gloves as well….don’t know why…..so anyways he has a grenade launcher and he shoots a grenade under Nick Fury car …the car flips upside-down…it doesn’t blow up because its bullet proof…..so anyways Nick Fury takes out a small flare type object that somehow can melt through  Cement ….don’t ask how….this is a comic book movie…..so anyways if ur wondering whats happening well I’ll get to that in a bit…….so Nick goes to captain America apartment room….BTW the woman thats living in the other apartment room is named Sharon Carter….yeah thats right she’s related to Peggy Carter….BTW forgot to bring up….Steve Roger’s goes and visits Peggy Carter in this film…and she’s an old person….but she was happy to see Steve…..that scene was emotional…..so anyways Steve goes into his room and he sees Nick…….Nick pulls his phone out showing a text saying shield been compromised….don’t trust anyone……and as soon as he is about to give information. 

..bullet come out of nowhere and guess who shoots him….its the same mysterious figure…..aka the winter solder…..if ur wondering who he is…well, keep wondering…I don’t want to spoil that yet….so anyways Steve goes and chases the winter solder….cap gets to him up on the roof and he tosses his shield towards the winter solder…and I kid u not….he turns around and is able to grab Steve’s shield mid air….😱😱😱…and he tosses it back to Steve……and then winter solder jumps off the roof and disappears…..also forgot to mention that Sharon Carter is a shield agent…..anyways…Natasha meets up with Steve at the hospital….Nick Fury dies….oh and I forget to mention Natasha has a hard drive or was it Steve….I honestly forget….sorry…..so they both go back to shield bass and they start trying to attack Steve…..because and I quote he is a traitor and he killed Nick Fury….but he didn’t..

So a shield agent named Jasper Sitwell….tells all agents to kill cap….anyways cap knocks out a handful of them and including Crossbones….again I know this is confusing…why are shield agents attacking cap….well things will make sense soon….so let’s skip a bit….Natasha and cap look whats on the hard drive and it leads them to caps old military training place he trained at in his days…..they go into the shield bunker and they find a secret room filled with old computers and we find out something shocking….wait for it…..Armin Zola is alive….yeah he’s in the computer…..and no he’s not s recording….so let me explain and let me explain whats been going on….so apparently after the war…shield was founded by Howard Stark and Peggy Carter…and they hired Hydra scientists such as Armin Zola…..to work on a secret project for them…..doesn’t this sound familiar….its the same thing that happened after world War II….with the Nazis……so apparently Zola and his men been severely rebuilding Hydra in shield…thats right is things connecting now…..majority of the shield agents are Hydra…..yep starting to make sense…I told u this plot was bizarre yet epic…..so anyways we find out that the winter solder is a assassin of Hydra…..he kills people they hire him to kill…….shocker……so anyways as soon as Zola is about to tell about his algorithm he made….a Quinn-Jet comes out of nowhere and blows up and place….anyways Steve and Natasha escape and meet up with Sam…..oh right and we before that get a scene of Alexander Pierce….and we see him entering his home and its pitch black and his house maid is leaving and we see the winter solder sitting in a chair in the dark corner….oh and we find out Alexander Pierce is Hydra as well…😱😱…dun dunnnnn dunnn…..so anyways he tells winter solder to kill cap …..then the house made comes back in and Alexander Pierce takes out a gun and shoots his house maid…because he’s evil!…..so anyways back to Steve…..sam reveals to Steve that he use to have a suit that has metal Falcon wings…oh and his nickname was falcon…back in the military days……ohhh….so we cut to Jasper Sitwell and senator Stern (from Iron man 2)…..and we find out both of them are Hydra agents….Stern whisperers in Jaspers….ears…hail Hydra…..lovely…im wondering how far deep Hydra has been implanted into the senate and shield…..so anyways Steve and Natasha take Jasper on the roof to get information about the algorithm…..Natasha kicks him off the roof and Sam aka falcon flies up and beings Jasper back onto the roof…and we now see Sam’s outfit…its an improvement over the comics….so he tells then about Zolas algorithm…that its to eliminate anyone who’s a threat…the avengers, Steve,  shield,  Stevan strange (BTW this makes no sense because st this pint in the timeline….Stevan strange isn’t doctor strange yet….he’s just a medical doctor still)….so anyways they plan on taking Jasper back to headquarters to sneak in ans on their car ride to the place …winter solder comes out of nowhere and pulls Jasper out of the car and flings him into traffic….so he killed one of his men….lovely…..so a battle breaks out….Natasha fights against winter solder…heck she’s able to shoot him at the goggles with a hand pistol while she’s down on the ground under the bridge and while winter solder is still on the bridge….so anyways winter solder decides to chase her and he jumps down from the bridge and he survives and doesn’t get injured…..christ…..so anyways as soon as Natasha is about to be killed off ….Steve comes in and fights winter solder…here’s the clip enjoy 

So anyways Steve and winter solder fight…….its epic….they get into a hand to hand fight….I say hand to hand but winter solder is using a knife and trying to stab Steve…..And now we find out who the winter solder is……cap grabs winter solder by his mask and flips him onto the floor, then his mask falls off and he stands back up and he turns around to look at cap and we see that the winter solder is Bucky Barnes…dun dun dunnnnn……Steve is chocked….and he says Bucky?…..and of course Bucky says….who the hell is Bucky……yeah if ur confused….well he’s been brain washed….so he leaves and Crossbones and his men come and arrest cap and Natasha……luckily Maria Hill is in disguise and breaks cap and sam and Natasha out of the truck that the Hydra agents are taking them in…..so she takes them to Nick Fury……yeah Nick Fury is still alive…..he faked his death……shocker……so anyways we cut to a bank and inside, Hydra agents are repairing Buckys robotic arm…..we get a but of a back flash that shows us that bucky did survive and he was dragged away by Hydra agents….oh and his arm was missing,  so he’s bleeding out……anyways he gets the rest of his arm cut off and Armin Zola oversee his whole procedure…..and well when they replaced his arm…they put him under, by freezing him for a couple of decades till Hydra is ready to reveal themselves…. oh and now since he’s conflicted about cap because he’s starting to remember…….mr Pierce orders his men to brain wash Bucky again……yikes…….so let’s skip a bit…..nick Fury plan is to have cap and his team place in 1 single hard drive into each Hellicarrier…if they do that….Maria Hill can program those 3 ships to blow up each other instead of civilians…….so they go and try to execute that plan…..cap is able to tell all shield agents that Hydra has hijacked shield and have been for a long while…which now the shield agents start trying to kill Hydra agents…..so anyways  nick goes and visits mr Pierce….while he’s talking to the rest of shield council……oh and Natasha sneaks in by putting on a fake human mask to disguise herself……so anyways back to cap……cap and Falcon get attacked by winter solder…….then Sam gets into a fist fight with Crossbones…..if u couldn’t tell….Crossbones is a Hydra agent……so anyways cap does put the hard drive into the Hellicarrier…..sam was able to as well…..and cap and Bucky do fight….cap order Maria to program the ship to blow up each other before the Hellicarriers start shooting fish on the people…..she does and since cap and Bucky is still in the ship….oh right back to Nick Fury…right as the Hellicarriers start falling out of the sky….Nick shoots mr Pierce….and as he is dying …mr Pierce says hail Hydra…..yeah so he died still a Hydra follower….good riddance…so anyways Bucky starts beating the cap out of cap…..Steve is trying to convince Bucky that there friends….and right before Bucky is able to punch him again which probably would have killed cap….Steve does say then do it…because im with u till the end of the line……BTW that was a line that Bucky once said to Steve….we see that in a back flash….and now Bucky is starting to Remer cap and he stops attacking him….oh and cap falls out of the Hellicarrier……and falls into the lake…Bucky goes and saves him and drags him onto land and Bucky walks away….Steve wakes up in a hospital with sam near him and sam says on ur left…..🤣….and we see a montage……the government arrests Senator Stern because he’s a Hydra agent…..we see the burnt body of Crossbones….don’t worry hell be back….oh and we see Nick Fury burning all his belongings….including his eye patch…..oh and nick Fury leaked out information about Hydra to the press aka the news…to the government….to the senate…..to the mayor…..etc……so nick tells cap that to everyone he is dead so he’s gonna stay low for now….and if cap has something to say to nick….just come to his grave…..also Natasha hands Steve a folder that has all information on the winter solder…and the film ends with Steve and Sam deciding to go find Bucky…..we get 2 end credit scenes….first one shows a guy named Baron Von Striker…who is a Hydra scientist…and we see him and his men in a secret bunker….and one of his scientists comes up to him and says nick fury gave every information about them to the press….Striker doesn’t seem concerned at all…..oh and we see he’s holding 2 people who have powers, in a cell……we see quicksilver and Scarlett Witch……yeah here’s the thing in the comics those 2 are mutants and are the son and daughter of Mageneto….but sense there no mutants in the MCU….they just made these 2 characters be inhanced people….also Scarlett Witch is powerful….she can move things with her mind and she can get into people’s minds…..and the second end credit scene is of Bucky visiting a museum of cap and Bucky and the solders who fought against Hydra in world War II…..so yeah Bucky is there to learn about himself….and thats how the film ends…..overall I really love this film its one of my favorite….im gonna give this film a solid 10/10
