Boy Meets World: so with this show….I should clarify….this isn’t a Disney show…..this show is made by a company got the rights to……..with that said…..I freaking love this show…..let me be more specific…..now the reason I know of this show is because of my cousin….he has told me numerous times of this show…..I heard how great it is….so once I got Disney plus back in November of 2021…..of course I had to give the show a chance…since its on there…..and may I say oh boy howdy….this show can get deep……its formally a comedy show….that focuses on our main characters 

Cory Matthew’s (he’s the quirky normal one)

Eric Matthew’s (he’s the comic relief….basically he’s a moron)

Shawn Hunter (he’s the tough rebellious dude)

Topanga Lawrence (thr quirky one at first…then the normal one later…also she’s smart)

Mr Feeny (who’s Cory and Shawns teacher/ Cory’s neighbor)

Harley Keiner (he’s the school bully, who picks on Cory and Shawn alot, his first appearance is in season 2)

Stewart Minkus (he’s the nerd….who only appears in the first season…or 2?…I think it was 1…..eh still)

Look im not gonna discuss or describe every joke on this show…what I will do is point out why this kids show is different…from modern kid shows…..remember how I said this show can get deep….well

There’s one episode that focuses on Cory and Shawn Hunter getting drunk,  then vandalizing a cop car…then almost getting arrested…but gets lead off with warning….yeah because,  that’s such a kid like subject to put in a kids show…ain’t I right?…

There’s an episode that deals with a young girl living with a abusive father who huts her……don’t worry he gets sent to court at the end of the episode…but still my god….no we don’t see him hurting her……its implied because every time she appears on screen…she has bruises…….oh and Cory of course finds out her father is abusive..but she doesn’t want him or Shawn to tell there parents….(well tell Cory parents…..ill get to Shawn’s parents soon)……so yeah..christ lord…this episode was …how to put it lightly…..dark…..I swear kids shows these days would not allow that kinda content….but I think its necessary…because in a way it shows kids what to do if a friend of theres or if they have a abusive family….then they know what to do….same thing can go for that episode where are 2 main characters get drunk….lesson is…..never get drunk…especially at that age….(I forget there age when they drunk in that episode)

Oh yeah there’s one episode where Shawn Hunter vandalized an area and is kn the run from the cops…..I forget how that episode ended….it was a happy ending I think……..nah it had to be…..right……uhh…right?

Then there’s oh boy (let me give u some context….Shawns family…well he lives in a trailer park i think, his mother divorced his father….because he drinks alot and gambles way way way to much…..yeah….but there was on episode where she tries to date him again to rebuild a happy family…..that doesn’t last…also forget to mention…Shawn’s father is barley in his life…he is always traveling….doing drinking and gambling….oh joy)….so with that horrible child trauma out if the way…in the later season like season 6…BTW there 7 seasons total….his father comes back in his life..to try to patch things up……things are going great… until he gets a heart attack…and ends up in the hospital……..I I would make a joke…but thats not an appropriate thing to make a joke about…so…um…..yeah he ends up in the hospital……2 guesses where this leads to…..so as it looks like he’s recovering….he falls unconscious……and oh boy…..the episode ends with Shawns father…passing away……ill repeat that…the episode ends with his dad dead……keep in mind…this is a kids show ………um…..do u see what I mean this show got away with stuff modern kids shows won’t allow anymore?…..also did I forget to mention this series can get sexist….then again…different time…different era……..also we see that Cory and Topanga relationship in this series isn’t all perfect….heck throughout 5his entire 7 seasons they have broken up 3 or 2 times….for reasons I forget….I just remember one of the breakups lasting to long, and was for a good reason I think…….I think……sorry I only seen this show once all the way through…and that was back in November of 2019…..I can barely remember what I did in January of 2020…let alone remember 2019 fully……honestly I do recommend this show…itd nor ur typical kids show….it gets deep…or dark….whichever one u prefer calling it..also I wanna to tell u one of my favorite scenes….context in this specific episode in season 2…..Cory runs for school president….then Shawn Hunter runs for school president near the end of this episode…and I really love this scene

Mr Turner:as of, uh right now. We have a new candidate for president.  

Mr Feeny: oh good, perhaps a serious-minded student, appalled by the tawdry level of the campaign thus far. 

Mr Turner: Shawn Hunter 

Mr Feeny: I quit

Shawn Hunter: how u all doing? Vote for me. Vote for me.

Cory: Shawn, what are you doing?

Shawn: what i should’ve done before. In the first place, run for president myself. 

Cory: can he do this?

Mr Feeny: Mr Turner,  this is your little experiment in democracy.  Can he do this?

Mr Turner: I don’t see why not? Democracy is always invigorated by the infusion of fresh new ideas.

Mr Feeny: do you have any ideas, Mr Hunter?

Shawn Hunter: oh, yeah. Big Honkin ones.

Mr Feeny: big Honkin ones.

Then in this other episode….Mr Feeny is told by Mr Turner,  he does nothing dangerous or fun…..and Eric Matthew’s tells Cory the same thing…so they both decide to go onto a new roller-coaster to prove themselves…..and here’s this scene…

Eric Matthew’s: what are you doing here?

Mr Turner: I got a note

Eric Matthew’s: this note. From Cory?

Mr Turner: from Feeny 

Eric Matthew’s: Cory,  get out of that car. You’ll kill yourself. Mr Feeny.  Enjoy the ride.

Mr Turner: George, what are you doing? 

Mr Feeny: surprised to see me so far from the chess club Mr Turner?

Mr Turner: George riding a roller coaster isn’t the way to prove you’re dangerous. 

Mr Feeny: care to join me Mr Turner?

Mr Turner: ha ha, no.

Eric Matthew’s: Cory as ue older brother, I’m telling to get out of this car right now.

Cory: oh now ur so concerned for me? Now u stand up for me? Well its to late! I’m dead.

Eric Matthew’s: ur out of ur mind.

Cory: dangerously out of my mind.

Hahahahahah

Also, if ur wondering what Eric Matthew’s is like…well besides him being a moron…..he crates this thing called the Feeny call…where he yells….Mr Feeny!!….Mr Feeny!!….Feeny!!…..Feeny!!…. …..hahahahaha …..that cracks me up…..overall I do love this show I’ll give it a solid 10/10
