Jumanji Welcome to the Jungle: so im gonna start off with saying these 2 films are funny as all heck…..and no u don’t need to see the original Jumanji film sith Robin Williams in it…to know these films….here’s the trailer…enjoy 

God I love this film…..so um let’s list the cast shall we

Honestly a really great cast…..so the premise of this film is a group of teens named 

Martha (the shy quirky one)

Bethany (the popular girl whos on social media)

Spencer (also the quirky one whos a nerd)

Fridge ( a football player jock who is quote on quote friends with Spencer…but mainly uses him to do his homework….christ)

All one day get detention at school for something….I forget……and in the school basement…they find this old video game called Jumanji….they plug it in try playing it…..and all get sucked in….and oh shite this is when the film gets great…..in the game….Spencer turns into a guy named Dr Smolder Brave (played by Dwayne the Rock Johnson)…(because of course his character would be called Dr Smolder brave………if u can’t tell his character is great at everything…he’s strong, and can Smolder, and is the Rock Johnson)…then Johnson turns into this guy named Franklin Finbar (played by Kevin Hart)…(and u already know there gonna be short jokes in this film…when the fact this is a comedy film…and 2 of our characters is short and the other is tall)..( and his character is a zoologist and can read maps)….then Martha turns into a woman named Ruby Roundhouse (played by Karen Gillian)…(she’s basically the eye candy for the audience……I honestly forgot what her skills are)…then we got Bethany she turns into a guy named Professor Shelly (played by Jack Black)..(and I think its quite obvious how she feels being turned into a chubby middle aged man……)…..BTW thats what I want to bring up…these actors do such a great job at portraying young teens…these actors deserve a nomination…….anyways they get saved by a NPC named  Nigel…..he tells them they havw to retrieve a gem…that was stolen by a bad guy named Van Pelt (played by Bobby Canavale)….he stole the gem that keeps everything in jumanji from not dying and prevent any evil from taking over Jumanji…..so now they have to retrieve it……BTW I now want to show u this scene when they find out there strengths and weaknesses…trust me its great

Spencer: (presses left chest) oh, wow

Fridge: what u just do?

Spencer: strength. Fearless, climbing, speed, Boomerang, smoldering intensity? (Does smoldering)

Fridge: the hell u doing?

Spencer: what just happend?

Bethany: um, u just Smoldered

Spencer: weakness. None?

Martha: how u do that? That list?

Spencer: oh uh, well I think I I, I just pressed  my my, enormous left pack. 

Martha: (presses chest), strengths. Karate,  T’ai Chi, Aikido, dance fighting? Dance fighting is that even a thing?. Weakness venom? 

Bethany: (presses chest), seriously? Paleontology? What does that even mean? 

Martha: um, study of fossils? I think. That’s kinda cool.

Martha: says the gorgeous karate badass to the old fossil guy who doesn’t have any endurance.  

Fridge: (presses chest), i hate this game. 

Martha: weakness. Cake.

Fridge: yes cake is my weakness. Along with, speed and strength. 

Spencer: huh. 

Fridge: strength is my weakness.  Hey can I, quick question. How is strength my weakness!?. Somebody explain that to me! And why would I need speed!? Why would I need to be fast, when I’m being chased by an Enormous killer zebra or some dumb ass shit! In this dumb ass hat!? 

Hahahahaha…..sorry that scene cracks me up every time…..oh BTW major side note they find out they have 3 bars in there wrists…its there life bars….and if they die 3 times then its game over as in they die in real life…..yikes…..anyways……oh boy this film is funny as heck….so anyways they head to a market, because they think they can find a clue to where to go to next….they end up finding a clue……inside of a basket with a snake in it……the clue is a piece of a map…I think…….anyways let’s skip a bit…they bump into the bad guy…..Nick Jonas character named Jefferson……so anyways im just gonna skip over him a bit…all u need to know is these followings 

1. He takes them to a secret hideout in the woods (he’s good at making margaritas)

2. He’s allergic to Mosquitoes…..yeah great figures he’s living in the woods and he’s allergic to a common bug….

3. He only has 1 bar left…he wasted 2 of them trying to sneak out of the jungle…by trying to hijack and helicopter carrier building not so far away thats guarded

4. He is the teen boy who got sucked into the game in the beginning of this film.

..(now he’s an adult since he’s been stuck in the game for decades)……oh joy….

So anyways with that out if the way…..also Bethany falls in love with him…..until the end of this film when we see he’s an adult and has a wife and kids….don’t even ask how that’s remotely possible….so anyways they all decide to go to steal a helicopter…..they do make it to the place and get into a helicopter………here let me show u that scene of them flying away its hard to describe…..

Hahahahaha…..poor Fridge….he gets tossed out of the helicopter to distract the rhinos…..so the others can retrieve the gem……oh right they have the gem…….oh right ok um woops forget what I said about them needing to retrieve the gem……Negil gave them the gem…and its there mission to put it back into the big statue it was once in….my bad…ive not seen this in a while….my bad….so anyways they retrieve the stone again…..they head out….they land the helicopter…….so now skipping a bit they find the statue…and have to find a way to get to the top….but the villain catches up to them…..so Spencer’s friends distract the bad guy while Spencer takes the gem all the way up to the big statue….he places it into the statue….now they all need to yell out Jumanji…so they do that….and the gem is back where it is…the villain dies….nature is alive again…and Negil comes out of nowhere and tells them good bye….he sends them home….so they head home…..because game now sucks them out…..and they’re happy to be out of there…well wouldn’t u be…..and the film ends with Spencer and Martha kissing…..its been winter and now there going back to school…so they haven’t seen each other for a while…so now they kiss…oh and forget to mention they toss a bowling ball onto the jumanji game to break it….so the end….or is it…..nope because there’s a sequel…..honestly I can’t recommend this film enough……u need to go watch this film…..im gonna give this film a solid 10/10
