I should  start off with saying this is a prequel film, showing us how the x-men came to be… so the plot of this film is, we see Erik Lensher aka magneto, and he’s a kid…during the Holocaust era…we see that his mother did die by thr hands of a guy named Sebastián Shaw (played by Kevin Bacon), reason he shoots Erik’s mother is because he wants to have him use his powers….so yeah he shoots Erik’s mother

Which does get him upset….makes sense….also we see that when Charles was a kid…a mutant named Raven aka mystique….sneaked into his house and Charles let her stay with him…so they knew each other as kids…so now in the future…like years later….Erik is now played by Michael Fassbender, and he is on a mission to hunt down Sebastián Shaw and kill him….anyways we also see Charles Xavier (played by James McAvoy) and Raven (played by Jennifer Lawrence) are enjoying life….at his home…..anyways in gonna summarize up some stuff….we get introduced to our bad guys …Sebastián Shaw,  Emma Frost and a devil looking Teleporter dude named Azazel …..and Sebastián Shaw looks the same age as he was back in world War II….how,  I forget seriously…..something something mutant powers…..there on there yacht…Erik tries boarding it and he dies but he gets knocked off….luckily Charles was there with his group…they bring back Erik to his house and oh yeah if ur wondering who Charles team are…its Raven and a guy named Hank…aka Beast (played by Nicholas Holt), his mutation is he has monkey like feet and can hang upside down or on the side of walls….also he’s trying to find a cure for his mutation….so Charles trains Erik to control his powers……Erik and mystique start falling in love….also if u were wondering where Erik gets his iconic helmet…well we see that Sebastián Shaw has the helmet but it aint red….its silverish grey….anyways we do see a montage of them recruiting other mutants….and we see Erik and Charles going into a bar and trying to recruit logan…and it leads to a funny scene

Charles: hey my name is Charles Xavier

Erik: and I’m Erik Lensher

Logan: go F@%#k ur selves

Hahhahahahah …I swear to God any scene with wolverine in it, is an instant win….also yes there is 1 F word used in the x-men movies because PG-13 allows one F word……but then there is Deadpool and Deadpool 2 and Logan,  which are rated R…so those have tons of cussing….so anyways if ur wondering who Charles and his team do recruit …well they recruit…well they recruit a mutant named angel,  she can fly because she has wings, a guy named Banshee, another person named Havok, and a guy named Darwin…..forget about him…he gets killed off like 20 min later…..so anyways Charles and Erik leave there team behind to be watched by the government agents….and well Shaw and his team break in and it leads to one of my favorite fight scenes in this film in my opinion

Ooofff…..so anyways the villians recruit angel…she goes with them, and Shaw kills Darwin…..ooofff…..so anyways in the start of the third act, Hank injects himself with a quote on quote cure…but instead it enhanced his mutation,  and makes his into a furry blue creature named beast…..yikes….so I guess we now know beasts origin…..so our main characters get into a black a yellow spandex, somewhat resembles there comic outfit…and they get into there jet plane they made….they head off to go find shaw…who is in his own submarine….also if ur wondering what Shaws plan is….its to convince important people to nuke each other….so then humans will die and that mutants will be able to live…because they can survive radiation because apparently as he says radiation gave birth to mutants

So if they don’t stop him, he will cause mass genocide…..so they must go stop him…..so they fly over the ocean and this leads to another one of my favorite scenes….where Erik lifts the the submarine out of the ocean…its a great scene in my opinion….

So anyways they crash the submarine onto land….and a fight happens….between both sides……while Erik goes and faces against Shaw…..see Erik needs Charles to freeze Shaw in place, but he can’t because the helmet he’s wearing blocks powers like that and mind reading….do Erik takes the helmet off….and Charles freezes Shaw and to prevent Charles from talking to Erik….he puts on the helmet, and he takes out a coin that Shaw had all those years ago…and he kills Shaw with it..he flings it slowly through Shaws head…….Jesus….not bloody but thats brutal….

So anyways now Shaw is dead so his men stop fighting our team….unfortunately the US starts shooting missiles towards them….

Erik uses his powers to freeze the missile because he has powers to control metal…..and he launches it back towards the military….because he’s sick and tired of men…also Charles tells Erik those men are just following orders….um yeah, Charles that’s something u should not say to a holocaust survivor…which Erik is a holocaust survivor…anyways this woman solder they brought with them….her name is Moira…..I forget to mention her im sorry about that….now I’m bringing her up….BTW her and Charles somewhat fall in love….anyways she starts shooting at Erik, and he starts deflecting them….one bullet ends up hitting Charles in the lower spine…which does paralyze him…..anyways since Erik and Charles are friends…he does care that a bullet hit his friend…..and he takes the bullet out of Charles spine….anyways also in this scene Erik makes a valid point, he points out the humans will always try to hunt them down because there terrified of mutants….so at this moment Erik gathers up a team…..he takes Shaws team and also Raven joins Erik….so now Erik has his own team….and he and his team leave….after that Charles friends try helping Charles up and uh oh Charles says he can’t feel his legs…..not gonna lie this was a good scene the acting was great and u can feel the emotion coming from Charles….and his team, who which looks concerned…..also the film ends with Charles in a wheelchair and he wipes Moiras memories….I forget why…..and the film officially ends with Erik and bis team breaking out Emma Frost from her cell….and on this scene we see Erik is wearing his comic book outfit…he offers Emma Frost to join his team and well…

Ohhh i always love that line for some reason..in fact I just like this scene in general…..but ill admit his helmet in this scene looks corny….

So anyways the films done…honestly ill admit it this is actually a really good film….its on HBO Max at the moment…I highly recommend u guys check it out if u haven’t….I will give this film a solid 10/10
