I want to start off with saying this is not a good film at all…..in fact it’s a letdown compared to days of future past…..here’s the trailers

I’ll admit it the trailers are epic….so the plot of this film is, we see in the past during ancient Egypt….we see the Egyptians placing a God into a humans body….whos played by Oscar Issac…..yeah let’s skip over this …all u need to know is pyramid crushes down…and the ritual did and didn’t finish…..anyways in modern day…..Charles Xavier still played by James McAvoy, …also we get introduced to Jean Grey (played by game of thrones actress Sophie Turner)….she’s having nightmares…..about death…she’s also worried about a secret power she has….anyways gonna skip a bit….we get introduced to cyclops…this time played by Tye Sheridan …and we basically get the same story again that we seen in origins Wolverine…..pretty similar…..to summarize it up…he in class….his eyes hurting he needs to go to bathroom…his teacher is a douchebag…..saying something like detention…..he goes to bathroom,  a bully follows him into the bathroom and he shoots lazers out of his eyes, which pushed the bully away…..yikes…..so his brother Havok brings Cyclops to Charles Xavier……he offers to teach him how to use his powers…..oh also Raven comes to the school….I forget why…..and we barley see her dressed in her all blue makeup….because around this time Jennifer Lawrence was getting tired of playing this role….I don’t blame her……..also if ur wondering where is Erik…well he’s living a normal life with a wife and daughter…and he has a job…nothing will go wrong….right..

……right?……wrong!…..well this one night some people find out that Erik is a mutant…so a group of people kidnap his wife and daughter and take them into the woods and threaten to kill them…but they wont….it was so he would give him self up….so anyways his wife and daughter run up to Erik and one of the people shoots both of them, and they both die in Erik’s arms…..…with him upset…he takes his wife’s necklace and flings it through each the persons neck, that are in the forest….yikes…its a haunting moment because this is the rebirth of magneto 

Basically in this scene u feel bad for Erik…because everything in his life has been misery…he lost his mother as a kid….to a nut job…and now he’s lost a wife and a daughter……anyways with this sad scene out of the way….we see the main villian apocalypse…and my god he’s not menacing at all …he looks pathetic….nothing intimidating about him…he’s just a human sized blue character…..played by Oscar Issac….and he bumps into a mutant named storm (played by Alexandra Ship……and she joins his team….yeah she’s evil in this film…..ooofff…..oh if ur wondering who else he recruits…he recruits Erik….and a guy named Angel….and a woman named Psylocke….and she was working for a guy named Caliban….(this time played by Tómas Lemarquis)……he appears again in Logan……anyways back to Charles…..I forget why but Charles and Havok go and visit Moira….and she has no memory of Charles because he wiped her memory…..anyways she tags along……also Quicksilver decides to go to Charles Xavier school….and while that’s going on…..Jean and cyclops and NightCrawler (sighh….I forget to mention before raven came back to the school,  she saved NightCrawler (this time played by Kodi Smit-Mcaphee) from a cage match…and brought him to the school) …..anyways and a new mutants named Jubilation…..(played by Lana Conder)….her role in this film is…um…well she just appears in this scene…..and thats it……woo-hoo I guess?…..and they are at an arcade ……enjoying themselves…and we see them coming out of a movie theater after watching star wars empire strikes back……such a classic film…I love that film…….anyways Charles and Moira and Havok make it back to the school….apocalypse shows up with his men and they kidnap Charles Xavier and telport away…while that happens Havok tries shooting a lazer from his chest …but he misses and hits the X jet…which ones up the school in slow motion because Quicksilver is now here….conveniently….and well 

As u can see he saves all the kids from the school including the adults…..basically any scene with Quicksilver is a win…meaning it’s epic….slow-motion…saving everyone…..cyclops and bis friends make it back to blown up Charles Xavier school….and he finds out Havok is dead….ah shite….I actually didn’t mind his character…so then of course William Striker and his men come down and kidnapped all of them…..they get taken to his secret base…while there Quicksilver tells raven that magneto is his father….idk how he knows that….so anyways they break out….Jean and cyclops and NightCrawler locate wolverine who is caged…..and they release him….I do like what cyclops says after Jean Grey release him……he says “I hope we never have to see him again”……..hahahahah, oh the irony…u have no idea bud…..so anyways we find out that apocalypse plan is to put his mind into Charles Xavier and possess him, also take over the world…..so our main group go and defeat apocalypse…this battle breaks out…and also we see how Charles goes bald….apocalypse tried possessing him…and he made it as far as to making him bald….also heres a favorite scene of mine 

I really like this scene, because Quicksilver is punching the main villian…..see i can’t take the villian menacing when he’s getting punched like a punching bag….so anyways Erik Lensher changes sides and decides to help the good guys….so anyways the fight ends with Jean Grey using her secret powers which is called the Phoenix….and she uses it to kill apocalypse….ok this makes no sense because in Dark Phoenix…which is the next film….we see her for the first time getting the Phoenix powers in space…so if she doesn’t have it yet then hows she using it?….idk the script says so…..nothing is cohesive….so anyways happy ending…..storm joins the team…Charles is now bald and still in a wheelchair….also film ends with mystique teaching the new x-men…which include Quicksilver and cyclops and Jean and storm…..the end….honestly I don’t like this film but every scene with Quicksilver was great…ill give this film a solid 4/10
