Ok let me start off with saying……Hollywood seriously needs to stop making Frankenstein movies as well……this film is a prime example of why they needed to stop…….this is by far the worst Frankenstein film I’ve ever seen……worst part is this film plays off like it’s a sequel from the book……how insulting…..now before u ask….Jarrod….how is this film so bad?….well let’s see….idk how about putting Frankenstein in modern day, give him a pair of jeans and a hoodie….have him be played by Aaron Eckhart…..have him be earth defender along side gargoyles….to fight against an army of demons……and oh yeah give Frankenstein a human female love interest……because u know….Frankenstein monster is oh so well known for being the ladies man…aren’t I right?…..….if that brief summary didn’t make u want to toss ur phone away…..trust me…after this review……u might…….and if any of u read the book….then u will probably hate this even more…..BTW this film is listed as a horror film…..um im sorry what?…..there was nothing horror related in this film at all…the only horror I felt while watching this film…..was the fact I was watching a good piece of literature……I mean for Christ sakes Hollywood….just stop……anyways here’s the trailer…….sighhh……

So anyways in this film we start off with…..no do u know what….F***k it…I’m gonna show the clip instead…firstly…

Honestly this was my only favorite part of this film……the opening scene……to be precise the first 2 min are good……it feels like a Frankenstein related property……..the rest of this film is complete shite…….as u can see this film starts off where the book ended…..with Frankenstein chasing his monster down in some snowy mountains…..honestly the look of the monster is book accurate in this scene….long brown messy hair, brown dirty trench coat…….black shoes……yep they got his look down right accurate….to bad after the first 10 min they go for a new look for him and well F***k things up from there and then…..anyways also this opening has narration from the monster…..BTW when a film majority of the time starts with narration…..thats a good sign the film is gonna suck…..anyways so he tells everyone he was brought back to life, his master tossed him away….he felt abandoned blah blah blah blah…he returned and killed his wife….then victor Frankenstein chased his monster in the show and Victor died in the snow….whatever…..…….then the monster takes his body and buries him in his family cemetery…….how, nice? Then some demons come out of literal nowhere and start attacking the monster…….but then some angles come and rescue him…..blah blah they take him to their leader who lives in a church……how original ……anyways she tells him that the demons and angels or gargoyles…..have been at war for a long time…..blah blah….then the queen gives him a name…she calls him Adam…..wow such an impressive name for a monster…..Adam…..christ this is stupid…..anyways…Adam says ok im leaving…..which then he does…but first they give him some weapons weapons defend himself….which hi does….then we see a montage of him surviving…then coming out of hiding after 200 years….and now he has short hair and is wearing jeans and a hoodie…..so he no longer looks like Frankenstein monster….he just looks like Aaron Eckhart with poorly looking stitches in his face……wonderful…..…..so blah blah demons find him…..ok then…and so do the gargoyles….they capture Adam….ughhh….and they say oh ur a monster blah blah…..because idk why….and honestly I don’t care to remember why…..so then the gargoyles get attacked and Adam escapes……ok skipping a bit……we get introduced to generic love interest….she’s working for the Bad guy who’s played by Bill Nighy …….and he’s playing a scientific guy who wants to build an army of reanimated corpses…..which then his demon Brethren can take over and posses…….well I guys now certainly say that he is….”Bill Nighy the science Guy”…..(bravo to anyone who recognizes that joke)……..also come on u should have knew I was gonna do that joke….its to obvious……..anyways I’m gonna summarize the entire second act of this film…..Adam sneaks into the building, rescues generic love interest……he tells her he’s Frankenstein monster and that her boss Is a demon…she does not believe him about either things…..whoopee freaking doo I guess….some demons find them….Adam mills those demons…so now she believes him…..well no shite….even if I saw that I’d be a believer as well……afterwards they go hide away in his apartment…because he has one I guess…..ughhhh…and Adam takes his shirt off…..because so all the female audience can go gaga over his abs……Jesus lord just kill me now….anyways gargoyle queen sends her top men to hunt down Adam…..he finds adam in a ally way…..he kills the gargoyle…..hurrayyyyyyyyy……..can’t u tell I’m just oh so invested in this film and these characters?…..…….anyways the demons capture generic love interest and forces her to finish the machine to reanimate corpses…….then Adam shows up…and Bill Nighy reveals himself to be a demon prince….and he says I’m a demon prince u will kneel before me….blah blah generic dialog……then a stupid fight happens…..gargoyles against demons …and oh boy the cgi looks awful….anyways so Adam kills the demon prince with a knife….then the whole building collapse because the basement starts to explode….I for the life of me forget why…..and I’m glad I forget….because I can’t stand this film…..and I wanna forgst about it….but atlas I cant…….oh woe is me…….anyways of course out main characters live…..what a shocker…….and the day and universe is saved thanks to Adam…..because yes thats what I think when I think of Frankenstein…..gargoyles, demons, in modern day and on top of that Frankenstein monster being a defender of earth…..um excuse me?…..since the F****k when would he ever……I remember him hating earth and humans in the book…..so this just doesn’t check out……I call bullshite….ugh this film is a mess….its generic, the CGI is horrendous, the script is a mess, the acting is meh at best, and it’s just to much of a confusing mess to be good…..also this film isn’t so bad it’s entertaining….it’s just so bad it’s bad……im gonna give this film a solid 1/10…..BTW u all should check out this video…its funny in my opinion…..it’s a somewhat review on this film…..
