Oh boy where do I even begin with this game, there’s alot to Dissect here…..firstly here’s the trailers….enjoy

Now I wanna give a warning well firstly spoilers ahead but secondly before I get to my review I’m gonna be ranting about this whole boycotting issue….I wanna give a warning because look I’m not trying to come off as mean or rude but if I do I’m sorry…..I am my own side on this whole perspective when I say that I mean…. there are the people who say I hate JK Rowling because she’s transphobic and the other side who says I don’t care what she said I wanna play something that seems fun…..yeah I’m somewhere in between so I’m my own category…..just cut out the I don’t care what she said bit and I will be the type of person who absolutely loathes the author but can also differentiate her from a game or her books which is saying a lot about me because I don’t read and nor have I read the books….but that should tell u how far I’m able to differentiate them, I can hate the author but at the same time enjoy a game if it’s fun….

Anyways so uhyyyy……im getting sick and tired of this entire let’s boycott this game…….jeepers where do I begin with the issues….well let’s start off with saying that yes we all know JK Rowling is horrible there’s no denying that.

Heck I’m in no mood to support her at all these days….she doesn’t deserve it, she’s a rich person who has way to many times on her hands….so she decided to act stupid and ruin her career and popularity with one tweet…….so yeah F***k her….she can go rot in hell….I hope there’s a new layer of hell waiting down there for her

However me saying that, can we stop with the whole boycotting because its quote on quote offensive thing? Because this has become bullshite and very hypocritical…….sorry not sorry but I’m gonna be speaking my mind here even if it’s harsh, the issue with the people who want to boycott this game are now harassing people who brought this game and streaming it…….going into streamers chats and calling them Bigots for buying and playing the game….Jesus lord look if u don’t want to buy a game then don’t by all means do what u wanna do…..its ur money and ur mind and decisions……but going around and harassing people being like oh u how dare u spend ur money on this game and how dare u try to have fun u bigot…..just that’s where I draw the line…..

well besides the harassing because that’s awful…..lets look at some other examples to why I am officially done with boycotting people….so when this game came out and streamers started streaming this game, due to the harassing on a twitch streamers channel they caused the streamer to leave the room and cry because of the hate she was getting…..good job people, didn’t yall say u don’t like JK Rowling because she’s causing damage to people? Well here yall are causing damage to people…..how hypocritical of yall……and this is where my first issue lies, it’s with the fact people are being hypocritical….on a side note then they will go out of their way to say noo where not harassing people, not at all were just asking politely…..ohhh bull-shite ur asking nicely, ur harassing……oh don’t worry it only gets worse, for u see here’s where we officially get into the reasons of why I’m hating these boycotting people…..

For u see these so-called boycotters who say were all for transgender rights and how dare u JK Rowling insult them……..went out of their way to get this convince a streamer to don’t stream this game at all and get this it was for charity…..yeah for u see there was a streamer who wanted to stream this game for charity, he was planning to make money off the stream to give to transgender charity…..but nah instead his so-called fans came in and somehow convinced him threw harassment telling him to not stream this game at all even for charity….

So he decided to not stream it because it be too much of a headache………sighhhhh (slow clap, slow clap, slow clap) congratulations…..congratulations u stupid people…..u have officially convinced me that u don’t care about offending transgender woman or about transgender rights…..no if that’s the case u wouldn’t have prevented a guy from streaming for charity to give money to transgender charity…..no what this is instead is yall don’t like we don’t have the same mind thought as u….and u want to get people to see everything like u do or else……yep convince me otherwise that these so-called JK Rowling boycotting people truly care about transgender rights after u know what I just told u…….

Oh don’t worry it gets worse for u see due to the harassing from the fans…..one dev decided to quit…..yeah let that sink into yall heads the so-called fans harassed a dev to the point of him quitting his job…….jeepers congratulations….u should be ashamed if u let ur personal beliefs get to the point where it leads a dev or anyone to quit then that’s when u have screwed up and should rethink ur life or ur angle…..also btw the harassing led to 2 twitch streamers breaking out into crying…..jeepers, just for then articles to come out and write “we don’t have any proof that said streamer broke out into tears or not” of bullshite

I want to also point out another thing did u know that people created a website to track people on twitch who streamed this game? Jesus lord….but it got taken down due to the backlash….wow what a shocker…..btw this to me feels like the modern-day version of the witch trials it really seems like these people are wanting to go out there and lynch anyone who buys this game…..the be like oh oh but if u buy this game ur transphobic or ur supporting her……uhh no no don’t plz just don’t assume people who buy this game is transphobic that’s wrong……we just wanna enjoy a good video game that’s fun…..u know like how we all use to back in the days…

BTW I wanna bring up a review which in my opinion I found funny because from this review it’s quit obvious that whoever wrote this review sure as hell didn’t play the game that’s for sure…..so there’s a review article that gave this game a 1/10, they went on to say this…..”this game is to problematic” uhhh sorry what? Pray tell how is this game problematic? Well besides the if u look at goblins being Jewish Stereotypes and trying to take over the wizards but ur main character and the wizards try to stop them…..but besides that? Then they also went on to say “the game is void of any diversity ” uhhh huh hahah sorry what? Has this person not played this game yet? This game is full of diversity……heck there’s a transgender woman in this game……no diversity in this game my a$$…..ohhh then we get to the one part of this review that makes me laugh every time…..”this games graphics are so outdated like it came out on PS2″ pfffttt hahahahaha ok seriously I’m starting to think this person hasn’t played this game……because this games graphics are down right gorgeous and realistic……heck I’m also starting to think they may have popped in the wrong game…..who knows maybe they accidentally popped in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban for PS2……

Also I wanna quickly mention this, if yall are so worried about boycotting Hogwarts Legacy because it’s associated with JK Snoring? Then uh where were the boycotts for the newer lego Harry Potter sets? Hm?…..I mean she gets money from that, those are associated with her…..u can’t be selective…..u can’t be like ohh were gonna boycott Hogwarts legacy because it’s associated with JK Rowling…..but we will go buy the lego Harry Potter sets because there fun…..ok by that logic then people should also be allowed to buy Hogwarts Legacy because it’s fun……..the hypocrisy…..oh or there’s also Harry Potter merchandise but I’ve not heard anyone say hey yall let’s boycott those as well……also furthermore has people forgotten she has a Harry Potter attraction at Univeral Studios? I’ve not heard anyone say let’s boycott Unicersal Stuidos……jeepers the hypocrisy here’s is astonishing…

Also seriously people the hypocrisy here is astonishing……think of it so yall wanna boycott a game…ok ok well why haven’t yall idk tried boycotting HBO, Amazon, Barnes and nobles, Universal Stuidos…..u know the company’s that support the Harry Potter franchise by selling merchandising or having a Harry Potter property on said streaming or an attraction at a amusement park….better yet why not boycott the streaming service Peacock? I mean it’s made by Universal and it has all the Harry Potter films on there….so If yall are truly butt hurt over a Harry Potter themed game because JK Snoring gets paid in revenue which keep in mind isn’t alot compared to how much the devs would make of this game…she got paid in advance now its the devs who getting the money….

So ergo by yalls logic if buying Hogwarts Legacy is supporting JK Snoring and hurting the people…..then uh why haven’t I seen a let’s boycott Universal studies? Barnes and Nobles? Peacock? Amazon? U do realize she gets way more money from those right? But nooooo let’s just all get butt hurt about a video game that JK Snoring had absolutely nothing to do with in helping making this game….heck the devs went out of there ways to add diversity and a way to make ur character transgender because they said we don’t stand behind JK Rowlings politics…..yeah do u know what good on them, once again the hell wrong yall? The devs deserve credit…….yall acting like ur opinion means more then others…..just get the F***k out of here…..

And now I wanna point out the so called review articles for this game, norcie how I say so called…..so when the review articles came out they would always have a sentence of “now if u wanna not give up the chance for something fun in favor for supporting a transgender hater then no one is stopping u” yep nope absolutely no one to stop me….no one at all……says the people who try to stop u lolo…or there’s this statement “u should falk to ur family, ur siblings, ur friends who are tied to the transgender community and see If there ok with u buying the game ” wow just wow……this is not a review this is verbal manipulation at its finest……..oh and if u didn’t think that’s bad enough welp here’s the grand Magnum opus of all reviews….

“Are people calling you all sorts of nasty shit for playing this game? Probably. Do you deserve it? Probably not. That still doesn’t mean you’re in the right. Think of it this way. Hey here’s an idea how about jeez IDK review the game instead of putting ur political point of view in ur reviewers or talk down to people and try to make them feel bad…….I mean jeepers is that to much to ask?

“Review in progress: u know if this game wasn’t as great as it is it be alot easier to toss this game under the rug” then followed up by “I’m pretty impressed with my 32 hours of playing into this game, but I was still haunted by JK Rowling ” well jeez by that title it just sounds like u wanted to hate this game……just so u can go in and say hey its a shitty game, told yall….don’t buy it…plus hey everyone JK Rowling, she can go F***k herself aren’t I right? Lololo……..no no no just no, I’m hoping yall are starting to realize a pattern here with these so called reviews……I say so called because it seems more of like a paragraph where people have a way to toss in there politics and why transphobia is a bad thing……yeah no shite transphobia is a bad thing, but here’s the thing….this is a video game which isn’t transphobic…..REVIEW THE GAME!! Don’t put ur politics into ur review..

Well ur wrong because what I’m doing is I’m pointing out how hypocritical and horrible this entire boycotting got….nowhere in this entire review did I mention my political and personal veiw of this property…..what I’m simply doing is showing people how bad this whole thing got……we need to realize this got way to out of hands……people started harassing people because they brought the game….ok got it so it went from boycotting straight to desperation…..yep that’s even worse…..SMH

Anyways let’s get onto the review but my point is this if we want to boycott offensive things then we may as well just get rid of everything we own and go live in a cave, wearing clothing we make from dead animals…….so overall my point is this let people have fun with a game if they want to….so with that said let’s get into the review…..because we cannot just be picky about what we boycott or not…..

Also, my last point is this…..there’s a reason I even discuss about this whole issue…….if u wanna enjoy a game then u should…..seriously there’s nothing wrong with enjoying a game……it doesn’t mean we’re anything phobic…..and to the haters just all I’m asking is for yall to calm down a little, like yes do keep hating JK Snoring as I call her….but plz stop harassing and bullying people ur basically acting like a bunch of entitled children…….anyways onto the review

So the plot of this game is ur main character (whomever u decide to make ur character look like or name) and ur professor friend named Figg are investigating a rumor about goblins doing an uprising against the Wizarding world….btw this game takes place in the year 1800s yes 100 years before the event of Harry Potter if ur curious…..and yeah here’s were we need to address the controversy here…..so in case any yall don’t know this but JK Rowling based the goblins designs off of old Jewish Stereotypes……yeahhh jeepers that’s bad in taste….and for u see the Jewish Stereotypes are planning to go to war against the Wizarding World because they don’t get treated as equals….yeah if u look at it that way then yep this game is very problematic….but moving on shall we….

So anyways Figg is trying to get u the main character to Hogwarts….for u see ur Character is joining hogwarts as a 5th year student which is unique to say the least…….on there way to hogwarts they get attacked by a dragon, they accidentally touch a portkey which leads them to greengots……they investigate Figgs wife’s vault…..his wide died and before she did, she left a note for what he should do if he finds her vault……she was killed because she was onto something and clearly someone wanted her silenced…..jeepers that’s dark, anyways on there investigation they find a Pensieve, they look in it…..it reveals what his wife was searching for…..

But then the goblins and there goblin leader named Ranrok come in asking for what they found…they try to defend him off but they find out he’s to strong….so they escape Through a portal Through a window which leads them to hogwarts……once they get there they are a little late for the sorting ceremony, for u see it just ended……they peep there heads in which the headmaster notices so he walks over to them….here we meet the headmaster his name is headmaster Phineas Nigellus Black…..he’s voiced by Simon Pegg…..btw if u can’t tell but yes this guy is an ancestor of Serious Black…..btw this guy has got to be the worst headmaster in Harry Potter existence …in fact in the Harry Potter books Serious Black told Harry that Phineas Black was the most unpopular headmaster….yeah thats an understatement….

For u see Phineas Black only cares about himself ans only himself, he doesn’t care about the students or the teachers….he only cares about the image he upholds……yeah good grief he’s vein……anyways he gets mad that ur late…..Professor Figg says we ran into difficulties which he says goblin difficulties….which the headmaster says ughhh I don’t have time for rumors…….btw I wanna quickly mention this headmaster doesn’t have enough screen presence to leave an impression he only has 3 small scenes that’s it….anyways so u get taken in, get sorted…..and for the next several who knows how many hours this game will take u……u will go on a journey, I should state that this game took me 8 days yo complete the story….yeah thats how big this game is, not just map size but also in story and all that….so through the game u will learn spells….by attending classes first then the rest u will unlock through doing assignments the teachers give u…..btw here’s the professors names

Professor Matilda Weasly (she’s a Gryfindor Deputy headmistress)

Professor Abraham Ronen (he’s the charms teacher)

Professor Aesop Sharp (he teaches potions class)

Professor Cuthbert Binns (he’s a ghost and he teaches history of magic)

Professor Dinah Hecat (she teaches defense against the dark arts class)

Professor Mirabel Garlick (she teaches Herbology)

Professor Onai (she teaches Divination class)

Professor Satyavati Shah (she teaches astronomy class)

So yeah these are the main professors……btw besides attending classes and learning spells which are important u will also be doing side quests located around the world….btw most quests will require u to have certain spells unlocked….so best wait till after main story to complete them although there are some side quests u will have to complete to even continue main story mission…..yeah it gets tedious….btw u will get to learn to fly, later on…..u also get to learn to capture and tame and take care of animals……btw u do become friends with 3 or 4 specific people…..there’s 

Sebastian Sallow (u meet him during ur first Defense against the dark arts class) (also hes a Slytherian)

Deek the house elf 

Poppy Sweeting (u meet her during the class where u learn to take care of animals) (also she’s a Hufflepuff)

And how do I say this ohh boy this game story is depressing….jeepers where do I begin…..firstly the main storyline does eventually get depressing but on top of that u have Sebastian Swallows story…..for u see u befriend him, u learn from him that he has a sister they both live with there uncle….and his sister got cursed with a spell that is apparently not curable because they including no doctors know what curse she was cursed from….so his uncle given up hope on a cure oh and alao every day the sister suffers from immense pain but don’t worry her brother won’t stop till he finds a cure……if any yall don’t like how depressing this sounds so far then oh yeah no don’t worry it gets worse and this game isn’t clearly for u….

I’ll come back to him in a bit……so u meet a house elf named Deek who u befriend…..him and Matilda Weasly show u the room of requirements……which becomes ur own personal place u can customize once u learn the customization spells….and where u can bring and take care of magical beasts into to take care of them….btw the room of requirements eventually gives u 4 landscapes to put ur animals into….yeah it’s freaking gorgeous, this game is gorgeous whoever worked on this game clearly took there time and had a passion for this game…..this game takes elements from the Harry Potter books and films and brings them together….Hogwarts in this game looks like from the hooks and the films combined…..so bravo devs u deserve the praise….anyways if ur wondering where the depressing thing comes into play? Well for u see Deek asks u to pay his elf friend a visit…..his friend last he saw him was in a spiders cave and Deek is worried about him…….so u get to go locate his friend for him……then u go locate his friend all the way deep into a spiders cave and unfortunately find that Deeks friend is dead…………yeah the spiders got to him first sighhh…..so now u have to go back and tell Deek that his friend is dead……which of course Deek is visibly heart broken about….almost seems like he’s about to tear up…….

Heck I felt like tearing up multiple times in this game, some of the stuff just got to me emotionally…….so yeah after that Bleak side quest…..u Prob hope u will have a good side quests? Well kinda….for u see throughout the game u will befriend a girl named Poppy Sweeting and she’s a Hufflepuff……she takes care of magical creatures, she also shows u a hippogriff, which later becomes urs when u and another student rescue it from a group of people who kidnapp animals and torture them with spells to keep them from escaping…..Jesus freaking lord…….but besides that u and Poppy Sweeting go on to rescue dragons who are being inslaved by more of these wizards……..and of course being used to fight in a battle arena, God that’s sad…..but don’t worry u and Poppy do save thr dragons so yayyy…..but yeah if u don’t like animal cruelty then this side quests will hurt u emotionally……like it did with me…..

BTW I wanna add this quickly, so if u do a side quest for a specific student, she’ll ask u to go locate her uncle she’s not heard from for a bit….and she’s worried about him…..once u go save him he says he has info, which of u ask him what info he has….he tells u on why Ranrok turned evil…..and oh boy this is a doozy, so the reason that Ranrok hates wizards is because he wanted to always be equals with the wizards…..he one day saw an opportunity to try to become friends with them…..he saw a wizard left his wand behind by accident so Ranrok decided to pick it up ans bring it to him….where he is in a room full of wizards, and instead of any of them being grateful….instead they started hurting him because they didn’t like the sight of a goblin holding a wand…..so now be has immense hate for wizards……because he wants to have equal rights basically…….yep do let that sink in think of it….by the end of this whole game ur main character and Figg are trying to prevent Ranrok from causing a Wizarding war….which yes I get that’s bad but however the goblins do deserve equal rights…..just pointing out that’s ehhh Slightly problematic….anyways 

But I’m getting ahead of myself, I just wanted to list the dark moments of this game……btw I haven’t got to the darkest part of this game yet…..so during ur first time u go to Hogsmeade where u get ur wand (which u customize btw) and supplies ur teachers asked Ms Weasly to tell u to get for them…..then a group of trolls come out of nowhere, which u fight them……after that u help rebuild the crushed buildings……unfortunately after that u hear Ranrok is talking to a wizard named Victor Rockwood…..which may I say that in my honest opinion he is the type of guy who pulls off a mustache and a top hat……which is what he has btw……idk he just has the face and head for it……anyways so clearly these 2 are teaming up for a reason…..which we won’t find out till later what that reason is….for now u go hide in the 3 broomsticks building where u meet the bartender named Sirona Ryan (who is the transgender woman btw)…..and I’m just gonna point out this side character in this game, in my opinion, in my opinion has got to be one of the best side characters in this game……absolutely an amazing person u interact with in this game….she’s also very nice…….heck she defends ur character when Rookwood barges in to try to take u outside….and he listens, well that’s nice I guess…..

So during this game u meet a goblin friend of Sirona Ryan’s…….u and the goblin do team up with each other, at first this goblin is kinda cautious to help u which is understandable because for his life he’s seen wizards being awful to his kind…….Jesus, but luckily ur main character is very nice so he does trust her or him depending on who u make ur character be…..anyways so after a little while of working together, trying to stay 1 step ahead of Ranrok…….at a point in the game ur goblin friend sends u a owl letter telling u he will be heading to the goblins mine and u can join him if u want…..so u decide to go there, but u don’t see him so u go inside…..travel a little while inside the mines….until u run into these big drills which u fins out is gonna be used to dig underneath hogwarts so they can find that secret room so they harness the power to get enough power to overthrow the Wizarding world……jeepers, as u find that out well Ranrok and Victor Rockwood comes out….and so does ur goblin friend….he’s holding this book in his hands that he was gonna give u…..but Ranrok takes it, realizing what’s in the book….

Now if ur wondering what’s in the book? Easy all the information on where specifically the access to the secret cavern is ans how to get inside it……yeahh he was gonna give it to ur main character to keep it away from Ranrok…..so now of course Ranrok is mad…..he says u had this all along? Brother……Dunn dunn dunnn yeah so Ranrok ans tbis goblin are brothers…..it does explain why this goblin u become friends with dis join Ranrok originally…..and try to stick by his side, anyways Ranrok says I don’t need u or Victor Rockwood anymore ur all useless to me……uhhh Prob shouldn’t say that in front of him…..anyways so ur goblin friend tries standing up for u saying not all wizards are bad….but uh Ranrok believes every wizards are bad so he well kills his own brother……jeepers, and ur main character breaks the pillars that are holding the room in tact which does crush the drills…..then ur character escapes and goes back to tell Figg and the paintings that her goblin friend is dead and now Ranrok has access to knowing how to get into the cavern….also that her goblin friend and Ranrok were brothers…..jeepers 

Oh and back to the depressing story of Sebastian Sallow…..so u go visit his sister with him, u see singlehandedly how much physical pain she feels each day…..its agonizing, oh and there uncle is a complete douchebag…..wow what a shocker, he’s had enough of Sebastian for trying to find a cure for her…..because ohh there is none what so ever……btw u learn from Sebastian when she got cursed….it was a specific night when there town got attacked by goblins, and she decided to run outside because she saw fire and thought someone was hurt so she was seeing if no one was hurt….but then she on top of a hill heard the words…..”kids deserve to be seen not heard” and then out of nowhere a curse comes out of nowhere and hits her…..and this curse has no cure apparently……yikes…..

So later on u learn the curse spell Crucio, by u and Sebastian and his friend go down into a secret room in hogwarts that Sebastian friend knew of….he knew of it because his grandmother went down there and never returned, he doesn’t want Sebastian to go down there because he knows there’s dark magic down there…..but ur character convinces him to go down there with them to figure out what happened to his grandmother….so yall go down there u find out why she died….she got locked behind a door that’s only accessible if u have someone else down there and either u or the other person uses the Cruciatus curse on one or the other…..the door needs full on proof u want access to what’s behind it….understandable…

Anyways so skipping a bit little while later u and Sebastian go to a cave locate a dark relic which Sebastian thinks he can use to cure his sister….uh oh he’s loosing it……and if u think he hasn’t lost it yet? Well later shortly afterwards u get to learn the kill spell Avada Kedavra, and how u learn it u may ask? Well Sebastians friend calls u……u go to him…..at the cave there is Sebastians friend and Sebastians sister….they just gotten out of the cave, they said there was a huge army of Inferi down there…..which Sebastian started to control them…..yeah I think he’s loosing it, anyways u go I’m after to stop Sebastian while his sister goes to get there uncle, uh oh this can be an issue because he said if they continue on this dark path he will report them to the headmaster…….I mean sure go ahead not like he’ll care….he’s too full of himself….

So u get down there, u try to stop Sebastian, but he’s to far gone…..luckily the uncle comes in….takes the relic away and destroys it…..then he becomes a boss fight which u have to fight against, hmmm how wonderful…..and yeah it doesn’t go without any surprise but this boss fight is tough…..the boss fights in this game have 3 sections in the health bar and the health goes down very slowly….as in whatever damage u do to them it does a very minimal amount of damage to them….so u better be prepared to be spamming the wand shooting button for hundreds of times, anyways after fight is over well things go to shite…..for u see Sebastian uses the kills spell on his uncle……gasps, he done it….he’s done the unforgivable….there’s no turning back now, anyways his sister comes in…..knocks Sebastian back to a wall and takes there lifeless uncles body out of the cave oh and she tells her brother u made ur decision…..anyways u and Sebastian leave the cave….u will have an option to learn the kill spell or not…..I chose to learn the kill spell, also heres my first issue I wanna quickly mention here, it’s ur character is so flimsy when it comes to Sebastian….this is what I mean so at one moment which is at this point of the game u say to Sebastian u did what needed to be done, ur uncle attacked u….u did the right thing……then he leaves and u go to Sebastians friend and u say to him oh yeah nope Sebastian has gone way to far he’s crossed a line…..bruhhhhh…..excuse me what?, that’s just…..wow, what a good friend u r……oh yes Sebastian u did the right thing….(turns aeound to talk to his friend), oh yeah no he’s gone to far….

I’m gonna skip a bit because I’m not gonna be explaining every detail of gameplay in this game…..so after a while of running around exploring on map, doing side quests to level up and or to learn spells….or do both, u and Mr Figg will eventually find this secret room under hogwarts its a cavern of sorts….in this room there’s 4 giant portraits…..and a wizard comes into frame….keep this wizard in mind he’s the leader of the 4 founding seekers as they call themselves…here are there names

….Percival tells our main character that him and his group left 4 challenges (1 from each wizard in the group) for whenever found this secret room….to complete to prove themselves worthy of what information they will be showing ur main character……then ur main character explains the situation that there’s a goblin named Ranrok and he has immense powers but he’s searching for something more powerful to help him take over the Wizarding world….so with that knowledge he sends u to thr first trail to do…..btw u have to go through 4 trails……they dont all happen at once….at the end of each trial a new wizard comes into frame giving u new trail eventually after more exploring and side quests.

Because some of them aren’t to sure about ur main character yet so they need time to sit on it I guss…..but let’s get to the important info ur main character finds out…so at the end of each trial there’s a Pensieve and u look in them at each the Seekers memories…..each putting a story together…..here it is, for u see the leader of the seekers was personally teaching a witch named Isadora….well spells, she tells him she’s upset because her father is suffering in pain…..she can’t do anything about it but she wants to…..Percival tells her there’s nothing u can do, which she gets mad she says so I just watch and see my father suffer?…..if u can’t tell she’s slightly unhinged….anyways when she grows up she becomes a professor…..oh no I cannot absolutely see anything go wrong with this at all…..(sarcasm much?)…….anyways she invites the 4 professors to her place she has something to show them…..hmmmmm should we be concerned? So they come over and she brings out her father who hasn’t spoken since Isadoras brother died….he’s still feeling pain over loosing his son, so she shows the 4 wizards that what she came up with is a way to uhh take pain out of people by using a specific spell….uh oh that’s dark stuff…..

And of course our 4 professors are mortified, heck little later on Isadora reveals to Niamh Fitzgerald that shes planning to take the pain out of everyone including students…….uhhh ohhhh, then she tries taking pain out of Niamh Fitzgerald….wait I said try, no what I meant to say is she successfully takes the pain out of her……yikes, then little later on professor San Bakar tries to go confront Isadora at her home bur what he finds instead is her father….whos now basically a shadow of a man, he’s just sitting there with no emotions at all and pale eyes…..uh what has she done? It seems that taking someone’s pain out does damage….anyways he goes and informs Percival Rackham, also Percival says ye found out that Isadora hasn’t stopped….in fact she’s been taking pain out of the students and gathering there pain, up under the school in a secret cavern….

So the 4 wizards go and confront her….they try to get her to put her wand down but she doesn’t, she says I’ve embraced this instead of running from it…..u taught me to…..which Percival says I didn’t teach u this……so then they start fighting, spells go flying back and forth….all the professors get knocked onto the ground…..but Percival gets up and tries to incapacitate her……as that happens San Bakar gets up and uses thr kill spell to kill her…..oh btw none of them judge him for killing her……yeah oh boy isn’t that wrong?

BTW I wanna quickly mention something so one of the trails is located in the headmasters office and this is one of my favorite parts of the game it’s because it’s the most lighthearted part of the game……heres why, so u need a way to get to the headmaster office….and u have to find his elf to ask for the password to access the room….but lucky for u professor Figg has a Polyjuice Potion already for u with Phineas Nigellus Black hair in it…..don’t ask because idk why either he already has that prepared….anyways u drink it u turn into him and sound like him….how convenient and u go throw hogwarts to find his elf and here’s why this parts my favorite, it’s because of the interactions u have with professors that come up to u….or students u bump into as well….at first professor Sharp shows up and says….pffdt this about the potion u requested that will remove all ur warts……..ummmmm ohh boy yeah I bet yall seeing where this is going?

Anyways he says I’ll drop it off in ur office later….and u have the option to say this no no that won’t be necessary, send a student to put it on my desk…..hahahahah which I did pick to say that….so as professor Sharp walks away u can hear him saying ok now just gotta find which poor student will have the displeasure to accomplish this task……lolo yeah I agree……but my favorite interaction does come where u bump into the Quiddich professor, she tries to get u to reconsider your decision on banning Quiddich this year…..but u say no, because of the accident last year…..and the professor says hey no one died and besides kids can do with a little injury it builds endurance….and here’s how the reaction goes down

Phineas Nigellus Black: what uh nonsense, that u would uh trivialize the health of a student over a silly game

Quiddich professor: silly game? Ur quit impossible sometimes sir, I’ve got a good mind to write to the department of magical games and sports at the ministry about u

(This part u have option to choose to say do it or say I protest against it….if u choose do it, which I did…heres how that goes down)

Phineas Nigellus Black: good idea, i can even provide the parchment should u need it. Now have u seen my house elf?

Hahahahahh I laughed so hard at this I was like jeepers I think I just tossed the headmaster underneath the bus…..lolo…..

So then u go find the elf, u ask him for the password….u go to the office and do the trial….I hope yall can see why I love that part of the game? 

Anyways, So now with this final piece of info, our main character knows where this secret room is and now know what Ranrok is after……so now with this information professor Figg sends u to olivanders to get him to make a special wand for u that will open up the cavern……also hes gonna go talk to professor Weasly, he fears that he should have told her and trusted her earlier…..maybe they will need her and the teachers help since Ranrok is trying to break underneath hogwarts…….

So blah blah blah u go to hogwarts, olivander makes u the wand…..but on ur way out Victor Rockwood comes up too u, and tries to get u and him to work together to fight against the goblins to prevent them from well causing an uprising and taking over…..but ur main character is smart so u refuse to…..this leads Victor Rockwood to say I’ve always said that children deserve to be heard not seen…….dunnnnnnnn yeah if u need me to repeat it for u….basically this confirms that Victor Rockwood was the main who cursed Sebastians sister not a goblin…..anyways then he telports u away ….u fight against him and his men….u end up killing Victor Rockwood….yayyy

On ur way back to the secret room, u should have gotten a message from Sebastians friend saying he needs to talk to u…so u go to him where u see him talking to Sebastian about how his sister wants him to go to jail for his crimes but also can’t bring herself to because he’s her brother and the thought of him rotting away in prison isn’t sitting well with her….so Sebastian says me arrested? I didn’t do anything wrong I was defending myself….pfft, then he walks off u then tell to his friend…..u have the option to say yeah no he does deserve to go to jail or no….I chose yes he should….so his friend said ok im gonna go talk to the headmaster and report Sebastian….dun dunn dunnn…..anyways,

So ur main character goes down to the secret cavern with professor Figg……once u get down there u encounter goblins which u have to fight, then all a sudden all the professors show up to come and help fight against the goblin….well all of them except for Phineas Nigellus Black, I mean what does that tell u about the headmaster? Anyways so they start fighting the goblins, while u and Figg make ur way to the magic that Ranrok is after…..but then Ranrok shows up….he revels he has Figgs wife’s wand…..dun dun dunnn…..then Ranrok absorbs the power and turns into a dragon……ummmmm…

Anyway u Bartle Ranrok (which btw takes a good long while)…..so after u defeat him, u and Figg have to use ur powers to contain the vestal that was holding all the children’s pains….because if it stayed destroyed it would cause a massive destruction to happen and we can’t have that…….anyways so u guys close it up…..and Figg gets badly injured so he dies in ur arms……ughhhh that’s so sad 

Anyway so the way this game ends is with the headmaster giving a speech about professor Figg, to all the students……..and blah blah blah and all that, and u would think that’s where this game ends but surprisingly no…..for u see next u get to talk to Sebastians friend….who u tell him that it was Victor Rockwood who cursed his sister not goblins….who Sebastian thought all goblins are evil and unforgivable….Jesus what a prick, also yeah Sebastian is facing trials and may be In jail for long time…..yeah he deserved it….or not? Idk u pick…..then after that u go talk to Ms Weasly in her office, she sees how much progress u made in ur magical guide book….thats it then……..then the final part of the game tells u to join the final meal, but here’s where it gets dumb….it says u have to get to level 34! To attend this…..the hell? Level 34? Why?…..for a meal? U serious?……what’s the point?

Ugh anyways if ur aren’t at level 34 then prefer to go and starts gringing to get to level 34 Jesus lord….then u finally attend the meal where the headmaster picks which class is the winer….u know how it goes its like the end of the first 2 Harry Potter films……but Ms Weasly steps in to say that our new student, due to there bravery and stopping a Wizarding war from happening….I think this earns that house 100 points……so uh yeah ur house team wins (btw it’s whichever house team u pick wins)…..because I ain’t telling u which house team u pick or not lolo….anyways the end…except not the end because afterwards u get to explore around hogwarts and explore the map, fly around, do all that even after the story mode….there’s still tons to collect….tons of crates to find and open, more side quests because I doubt yall will get all side quests done before main story is over, tons of puzzles to complete, tons of areas u duel against enemies and lastly several areas to discover and save creatures….yeah this game is massive u will for sure get ur money’s worth from this….now onto my negatives and positives of this game

Positive: overall I love this game it brought back the feelings I had when I first watched the Harry Potter films…….this game was able to capture that feeling really well…..the cinematography is gorgeous in this game, the devs clearly has a passion for this series….there’s nods and references to the Harry Potter films and books to please both sides…..there’s tons of diversity in this game, heck u can make ur character a transgender character if u want…..the map Is huge…..and this game made me actually tear up multiple times…..the amount of clothings u can find is massive…..also the room of requirements is my favorite area because u can find objects, to decorate ur rokm however u fit please…..also u can bring animal’s into there in pens and take care of them…..its truly a magical sight….the soundtrack sounds like it takes inspiration from the harry potter soundtrack and make there own with it…..I like that because it makes it feel very much like a harry potter game without just copying and pasting already existing music that exists in the films….bravo devs…

Also this game has elements from fantastic Beasts and the Harry Potter games/films……I have massive respects for that…..once again good job devs…and thats where my positives end….now onto negatives

Negatives: firstly the main storyline isn’t all that interesting…..like at all, think of it…the story line just simplifies down to goblins wanna start a war, u must stop them from starting war….thats really the extent of the story……it’s very simple down to a fault really…….my other issue with this game is that there’s no Quiddich whatsoever……and I’m not happy about that, they said there are no plans for any DLC at the moment…..hopefully that will change….it will be a missed opportunity if they don’t……

Ohh ohh my major issues with this game, there is no morality system like at all……u can use the killing spell in front of anyone and they don’t bat an eye for some reason…….yeah idk why either, it’s a shame they really should have added this into the game….it make it feel like ur decisions have impact or consequences on the game……also u can’t ride dragons in this game yet u see them on the map……yeah isn’t that such a big fracking tease…..show there’s dragons on the map but no one can ride them….sighhh

Also the repetitive dialog u will hear about 1 billion times…..it gets annoying….. there are about 5 lines of dialog in this game that just gets repeated…..don’t believe me? Well let’s go through the obvious ones, each time u go into the room of requirements u will hear Deek say “Deek thinks u should be proud of all the potions you’ve brewed” wow jeez really noooo I didn’t think I should feel proud because of doing something tedious……why thank u Deek, thanks u for reminding me to be proud for the 1 billionth time, heck I’m not sure I would have gotten the idea to feel proud…..but since Deek says I should….well then I should, jeepers if yall can’t tell I’m being sarcastic then we got an issue 

Oh then there’s every time u use floo powder u will hear someone say “u can’t image how difficult it was to travel before I created Floo Powder” nahh I think I can imagine it…..heck I’ve imagined it about the 1 billionth time ago….but thank u game for keep reminding…..I’d be clueless without u……good grief 

Or or, every time u enter Hogsmeade ur character keeps saying “does it get any cozier then Hogsmeade ” or or “did u know all roads lead to Hogsmeade ” hmm nope I didn’t think about that at all…..now if u excuse me let me go ask my 12 days of playing this game past self of mine…hold up…….also hmmm are u sure nothing else is cozier then Hogsmeade? I don’t think I’ve got that yet….plz repeat it about 1 billion more times, maybe then I’ll understand it then…..jeepers 

Another issue I have with this game is that thr whole entire Sebastian side quests story overshadows the main syory arc…….yeah that bad……where In the Sebastian story arc there’s emotion, character depth, u decide if u wanna learn specific extra magic or not, it effects how u play the game If u learn it or not (when I mean story I mean it will effect how much easier u can get past duels or not), there’s consequences to Sebastian…..depending on the after math decision of his decision he makes……unlike the main story of this game is…..Goblins wanna start a war against the Wizarding world and u must stop them from doing that….now plz tell me does any part of that main story arc sound like it has character depth? Emotion? Decisions that impact ur character and the game? Because it doesn’t have any of that……like at all…..yeah they kinda flunked on this aspect of the game, the story aspect……

Also my last issue is this everyone thought when they brought this game that it be a Hogwarts school type game where u fully immerse urself into the world by attending clasess….have curfews, having to sneak out at night if u want to stay up at night and all that…..but nope, there’s none of that…..heck the amount of time and interaction u can do in thr classes are very minimal…..heck u can’t even sit in any chairs in hogwarts…..u can look at them but can u sit in them? Nahhhh

BTW from what I’ve heard this game has made over $815 million dollars yeah thats right…….so the whole boycotting thing epically failed……also from what I’ve heard there planning to continue this game and make it into a series of games so there will be sequels…..now how do I feel about that? I’m not sure because from the way this game ends idk how or where there gonna pick up from here…..what I liked about Harry Potter films was the overarching storyline was we need to stop voldemort……this game series needs an overarching plot…..so far it seems they kinda just ended the plot they set up……so im kinda weary about where they can go from here, but we’ll just have to wait and see….I mean I’m totally open for more hogwarts games I absolutely love this game it exceeded all my expectations…….which is what the Skywalker saga should have done but it didn’t so there we go….overall I highly recommend this game I’m giving it a solid uhhh 7/10……it’s really great but it ain’t perfect…..as u can tell
