That’s right in the decade of Disney reviving there old classics we now have a sequel to Hocus Pocus…..and well this one isn’t bad….in fact I finally watched for the first time the first Hocus Pocus 1 in October to get ready for this film I can see why everyone loved that classic anyways here’s the trailer….

So in this film we start off with some back story to the Sanderson sisters as kids….we find out as kids even they were hated….hmm how charming…….anyways they get banished from thr town….yeah I’m starting to see why they despise Salem, anyways they run into the woods and bump into a witch who shows them the magic book and all that……..so now cut to modern day we get introduced to our new main characters……this time where modernizing things up with them using cell phones and doing social media, groannnnn……anyways so these group of 3 friends go to a store that sells some weird things…..one of those weird things is the magic book, oh and 3 candles which we find out it indicates If the witches are still alive or can well come back…..convenient, so the store manager tries selling these kids some stuff shocker….they decide to buy the magic book because one of them really wants to learn Wicca isk just go with it….anyways they open it accidentally unleashing the Sanderson sisters….uh oh there back and badder then ever……they want the book but not just also that they want to use a spell that will make them more powerful ans resilient to the sun….now that clever….so they take the book from the kids, then the witches go find the store owner tells him that he’s gonna help them get the supplies they need one of which is someone who was in love with them…take 2 guesses who that is…..but he refuses to so they put a curse on him telling him if he doesn’t help by midnight then his soul is theres…….jeepers so he starts going around getting those items that are required…..he then goes and digs up Billy Butcherson….which I love this dialog 

Store owner: that’s not 6 feet under

Billy Butcherson: (comes out of grave) who are u?

Store owner: ahhhhhhhh! (Runs away) zombie!! Killer zombie!

Billy Butcherson: plz stop I’m a good zombie, I’m not even chasing thee

Store owner: stop right there and don’t u even dare try to eat my brains

Billy Butcherson: why would I? No I simply wanna know why u were digging up me grave?

Store owner: and I simply want to know why ur alive?

Billy Butcherson: well it’s because I was woke up and could never go back to sleep, I’ve been awake since….how long ago was 1993?

So uh yeah hes been awake I’m his grave for almost 20 years yikes…..he then asks for Billy’s help because the Sanderson sisters are back which Billy starts walking away saying oh no no nope….but then he tricks Billy by saying I know a way to make sure there dead permanently I could use ur help….also he does say he knows how Billy dies….then Billy says thou knoweth I died….which the store owner says everyone knows how u died……of how u where in love with Winifred and she betrayed u and murdered u….which Billy says what? No no no no! I shared one kiss with Winifred…..once! Just once!….ughhh She has sullied My name for eternity……lolo…but then he says if u help me ill tell everyone what truly happened to u..so they agree they do a hand shake…he helps him get all the items he needs and while this is happening the Sanderson sisters find brooms at a store….Winifred gets on a normal broom…..Sarah finds a swifter mop and rides it and as for Mary she uh well sighh rides 2 rumbas……..sighhhhh yeah sure why not….so anyways also Billy Butcherson finds out the store owner lied to him but then the store owner decapites Billy takes all the items including Billy’s head to a shrine he made to have the spell work……then the kids show up and the witches they get into a fight the kids grab the book they say u can’t do the spell without ur bokk which they day we don’t need the book then proceeds to try to do the spell but the 3 main characters try wanting them not to because there’s a serious outcome to this spell…..the sisters don’t listen and as soon as they perform it well Sarah and Mary vanish…for u see what thr sisters didn’t read was if u do the spell it will take away the one thing u love and for Winifred it was her sisters….so now she’s begging thr kids to kill her so she’s with her sister because life isn’t the same without them awww how sweet so they oblige to and use a spell to kill her now they can rest in piece…. anyways Billy Butcherson gets his head back on him…..the store owner says as promised I’ll tell everyone of ur story…then Billy says ur not as Insufferable as I thought u where then Billy starts vanishing….Prob to heaven and now Salem is saved yayyy and there’s an end credits scene that shows one last candle still left and it’s lit….dun dun dunnnnn I wonder what that means….honestly over this is a good sequel….my only issue is it’s exactly the same plot as the original film…overall ehhh 9/10 I still recommend it….its on Disney plus
