Pirates of the Caribbean at worlds end:

Also, let’s take y’all back to the golden era of Disney on DVD and Blu-ray with this callback Blu-ray video footage that would play at the beginning of classic Disney films on DVD and Blu-ray.

ok so i should start off with a bit of a warning….the beginning of this film is kinda um well grim….so this film starts off with the royal navy executing people by hanging them…the reason there hanging these people is because these people have been  Associated with pirates or helped pirates….now that’s a Grim start on its own but it gets worse..one of the people they hang is a young boy….uhhhhh….yep that’s…thats how the film starts…with a young boy being hanged…yeah really setting the tone for this film, aren’t u Disney….

ok side note…in this film we get introduced to the breathering court (who are a bunch of pirate lords…and Barbossa and Jack Sparrow are both pirate lords…and trust me this was in my opinion the dumbest thing to introduce in this film….pirate lords…

….and each pirate has a item …and there called the 9 pieces of 8…..yeah try making sense out of that….and one of the 9 pieces of 8…is a coin that this random pirate boy was holding during his hanging, so keep that in mind for later)…oh and this is the longest pirates of the Caribbean movie…this film sits at a runtime of 2 hours and 49 min long…ok that’s a bit overkill if u ask me…also think of this movie as a part 2 to dead man’s chest…thats pretty much what dead man’s chest and at worlds end…are…a part 1 and part 2 movie….basically the equivalent to avengers infinity war and endgame….hah…just realized what both those movies have in common….both of those pirates of the Caribbean movies and both avengers movies are a 2 part story films…and both don’t have the same name…I mean…avengers infinity war,  and avengers endgame…although not same titles but endgame is part 2..oh and pirates of the Caribbean dead man’s chest and at world end don’t have same title,  but at worlds end is part 2 of dead man’s chest…oh and just realized at worlds end is longer then dead man’s chest…just like how avengers endgame is longer then infinity war,  oh and at worlds end has the word…end in the title..just like endgame….if ur wondering what I’m blazing flipper flabbers im talking about…well, me to…I just totally went off topic…sorry about that…anyways…so film starts off grim with a kid being executed….so then we cut to a place named Singapore  ..and Elizabeth Swan and Barbossa show up there to meet a pirate lord named Sao Fang…and while that’s happening…..Pintel and Ragetti and Mr Gibbs and Marty and Cotton are sneaking into the city from the ocean….meaning there sneaking around under the bridges….this town has many bridges…so Barbossa and Elizabeth Swan get to Sao Fangs sanctuary…..let’s just say the negotiations between them and him went nowhere…also id ur wondering why Barbossa is here…he wants a certain map from Sao Fang…that can lead them to the fountain of youth..(remember this for the fourth installment…because thats when the fountain of youth becomes important) turns out will Turner snuck into Sao Fangs home the other night and tried to steel the map…so he kidnapped will and tortured him a bit….and then the royal navy show up and start attacking…so then the rest of the pirates come our of the floor and start attacking the navy….oh and while this fight happens….we see Will Turner pull aside Sao Fang to tell him that he is planning on Saving his father, but that he needs Sao Fangs help to get the black pearl for himself so he can use….the plot thickens…..hm very interesting…so anyways Sao Fangs crew and Barbossa and Elizabeth Swan and there crew and will Turner escape onto a one of Sao Fangs boats…and they bring with them Tia Dalma and the charts…which is the name of the map…and did I forget to mention Tia Dalma was with them…I did? Woops sorry….so yeah then we see the flying Dutchman attacking royal navy ships….which catches the attention of Cutler Becket….so now he thinks Jones is becoming a bit of a loose cannon…and he is a problem that needs to be dealt with…so him and his crew including the newly reinstated James Norrington, along side the 2 morons…Murtogg and Mullroy…board the Dutchman and they bring with them Davy Jones heart…and use it as leverage…telling Davy Jones there an order to things and that there now in charge of the flying Dutchman and Davy Jones and his men…we also find out that Becket a while ago ordered Davy Jones to kill his pet…the kraken….yeah he haves Davy Jones on a tight leash in this film…ok so we cut back to our main characters who are trying to figure out where Davy Jones locker is……don’t worry Barbossa leads them there by riding the ship off a waterfall…..and yes it leads them to Davy Jones locker…I have a theory…they died from the fall and Davy Jones locker is basically purgatory…..that or something…but still…..anyways we see Jack Sparrow at Davy Jones locker…and there is like 25 clones of him on the black pearl….Jesus lord…if one Jack Sparrow wasn’t enough…25!….oh and one of the clone Jack Sparrows, well um how do I say this…lays and egg and walks away while clucking like a chicken….um..huh….whats the joke …is it because his last name is Sparrow and that’s a type of bird…but um sparrows don’t walk or sound like chickens…so this joke just makes no sense and I kinda want to forget that scene happened….so yeah this bizarre scene happens…and guess what the 25 Jack Sparrows that Jack Sparrow was talking to were just figment of his imagination….how lovely…so he jumps off the ship and there a 2 min gag of him seeing a rock and tosses it and turns around walks to towards the ship and looks back and sees the exact same rock near him…and it just goes like that for a total of 1 min…then the scene ends with well the rock being a crab and then a bunch of rock crabs come and starts moving the black pearl to the ocean….

…um ok then….so blah blah….Jack and his men and Barbossa reunite…also a funny scene happens…here ill play it out

Jack Sparrow: ah Hector, its been to long hasn’t it? 

Barbossa: aye, isla de Muerta remember? U shot me

Jack Sparrow:….no i didn’t 

Hahahahah …now that’s the Jack I know….so anyways ….oh and Jack Sparrow does say out loud that why do I need u guys…few of u tried killing me in the past and one of u guys succeeded…oh and BTW turns out Elizabeth Swan didn’t tell her lover Will Turner that she left Jack Sparrow for dead on the black pearl…so now he in shock a bit……also thought this movie we get Hector and Jack Sparrow arguing who’s captain and who’s not captain….heck there is a pointless scene shortly after this scene where this happens 

Hector: what are u doing?

Jack: what u doing?

Hector: no, what arre u doing?

Jack: no, what u doing 

Hector: noo, what arrrre u doing!?

Jack: what u doi-

…trust me that was basically pointless bantering…..so anyways…..later on that night they see a bunch of dead people in the ocean and dead souls in boats….because Davy Jones has nor been recently been doing his job….also amongst one of the dead souls on a boat…is Elizabeth Swan father…oh no….so yeah Cutler Becket ordered the execution of Elizabeth Swan father…ok yeah he’s a monster…he somehow worse then Davy Jones…bit ironic…Becket has less of a heart compared to the man who literally doesn’t have a heart….also another thing we find out in this movie is that it was the first breathering court that imprisoned Calypso (aka Tia Dalma) into her human form..also we find out that the woman Davy Jones use to be in love with, was Tia Dalma….dun dun dunnnnn…what a twist….so anyways next day Jack Sparrow is taking a look at the charts….and he decides to flip the boat upside down…how u may ask…he gets the rest of the crew to run back and fourth as fast as possible multiple times till the ship flips upside-down…and if ur wondering why..its because he figured it out on the charts that ur supposed to do that…and I forget the purpose of flipping the ship over…so anyways.  After this they go onto a land and find the dead kraken, Barbossa gives Jack Sparrow a bit of a pep talk….see all though Hector hates Jack Sparrow…he still respects Jack Sparrow…so this is how the pep talk happens

Hector: still thinking ot running,  Jack? Think u can outrun the world?, you know the problem with being the last of anything…by and by, there be none left at all.

Jack Sparrow: sometimes things come back, mate. We’re living proof, you and me.

Hector: aye, but thats a gamble of long odds ain’t it? There’s never a guarantee of coming back. But passing on, that’s dead certain. 

Jack Sparrow: summoning the Brethren court then, is it?

Hector: its our only hope, lad.

Jack Sparrow: thats a sad commentary in and of itself.

Hector: the world use to be a bigger place. 

Jack Sparrow: the world still the same. There’s just…..less in it

I do like that scene…it kinda well gives Barbossa and Jack Sparrow some depths to there relationship…so then the find out that Sao Fangs men tricked them and was waiting for Sao Fang to cats up so they can do a mutiny…so Sao Fang shows up and boards the black pearl …along side the royal navy as well…Will Turner tells Sao Fang the black pearl is his…but of course Sao Fang double crosses him and asked Becket to be in charge of the black pearl for him self….oh course Mercer speaks on Becket behalf and basically tells Sao Fang that Becket won’t allow him to be in charge of the most powerful ship…the royal navy send Jack Sparrow on there ship to have a discussion with becket…and to spare the rest of the pirates….Elizabeth Swan gives her self up to Sao Fang ( who he believes she is calypso), as for Jack and Becket….lord Becket wants Jack to give him any information on Ship Wreck Cove…thats where the brethern court gets together…for there meetings….anyways a fight breaks out and its pretty cool….ok so I kinda forget a bit but then Jack sends odd will Turner to Becket…he first does offer to kill Davy Jones for will…but then will says but then u will have to be captain and ferry souls to the next world or end up looking like Jones..and I like Jack’s reaction..eh…I don’t have the face for tentacles……(scoffs)…anyways…Will gets to Becket ship and they both invite Jones onto the ship and they have a bit of a meeting where they both tell him that calypso is due to be freed by the Brethren court…guess what ..that doesn’t set well with Davy Jones, because he was one of the pirate lords that helped imprison her…and he wants her imprisoned….the plot thickens….so will offers to lead them to ship wreck cove…in exchange for his father’s freedom….but nope Jones won’t accept wills father’s freedom unless Tia Dalma is murdered…so now we cut to ship wreck cove…and the meeting happens, let’s just say the meeting doesn’t go well….an argument starts happening….while this happens…Davy Jones sneaks in and talks to calypso….he does leave her alive….he still has feeling for her…anyways back to the argument, Barbossa has them give up there pieces of 8…and it turns out Ragetti fake eyeball is one of the pieces of 8….lovely…so anyways, they also decide to make Elizabeth Swan the new pirate lord…(right i forget….Sao Fang died during an attack on his ship from Davy Jones and his crew…before he died ….he made Elizabeth Swan in charge) now ur up to date…oh and when Sao Fang died…Davy Jonesans his men kidnapped Sao Fangs men and Elizabeth Swan…also the royal navy help keeping those prisoners in their cells…and guess who’s their…James Norrington…so kd ur wondering what happened to Norrington…he has a change of heart and breaks Elizabeth Swan and her men out of their cells….and he let’s them go down a rope thats tied to their ship…thats located in the back of the Dutchman..yeah the Dutchman was using a rope to pull Sao Fangs ship with them…and Norrington well stays behind and tries to distract Bootstrap Bill Turner…instead he just stabs Norrington…and Davy Jones comes up to Norrington and says James Norrington do u fear death?…then well he stabs Davy Jones in the chest…then Davy Jones says ill take that as a no, and he takes Norrington sword and just walks away while Norrington sits there and dies…yeah Norrington died doing the right thing for once…so now thats she’s a pirate lord…she decides that they all should go to war against the royal navy and Davy Jones and his men….also during this court….we get introduced to Jack Sparrows father…and he’s played by some musician from what I’ve heard…also we find out that the pirates are bound to a rule book……pirates and rule book?..yeah ok whatever…..so now the next day all the pirate ships are lined up for battle, and as soon as they see one navy ship come out of the fog they started doing there war scream….but then a few 50 or so more royal navy ships…now the pirate’s seem a bit worried…heck even cottons parrot starts flying away and said …abandon ship abandon ship……hehheh…..so now Sao Fang crew is looking st Jack Sparrow with a disgust look on them…and well Jack Sparrow says….parlay……(parlay being a word they use in this movie to basically say i give up now take me to the leader…or something like that)…

so now Barbossa and Jack and Elizabeth go onto an island near them where Cutler Becket and Davy Jones and will Turner are on…they are going there to try to bargain…..so this scene ends with them trading will Turner for Jack Sparrow……Davy Jones takes Jack Sparrow onto the Dutchman…and now he is a prisoner…so blah blah….Barbossa and his men free calypso from her human form…..when that happend she turned into a giant then well turned into like thousands of crabs..then Elizabeth Swan gives a motivational speech…ok so now the war has started and its not pouring rain outside and there is a giant sized whirlpool in the middle of the ocean…and well the black pearl and the flying Dutchman go inside the whirlpool…and for that battle there well going around in circles because they’re steering there ships at the inner top part of the whirlpool…so anyways a awesome battle happens… some brutal moments….like near the beginning of this fight a cannon shoots towards Davy Jones and Mercer and his men…who are at the part of the ship where the steering wheel is at,  Davy Jones grabs Mercer and they both take cover…and as for his group of men…well there on the floor blooded up and injured and screaming…..so then Davy Jones grabs Mercer and he kills Mercer by well putting his tentacles in one of his ears and one though the nose and out the mouth and one through the eye lids….uhhh…so he suction cupped him to death….Jesus lord this scene was brutal….for a Disney movie…especially for a Disney movie….also Jack Sparrow escapes from his cell….and well bumps in Murtogg and Mullroy…and he takes the chest from them…so now Jack and Davy get into a sword fight…ok so also Barbossa marries Will Turner and Elizabeth Swan during the battle because they asked him to, because they not sure if they’re be another time to do this…yeah kinda of an odd time to get married during a war in a Middle of a whirlpool…on a stormy weather as well….

so if ur wondering how this fight ends….well Will Turner encounters his father…who is now far gone….he has no memory of his son and he has more barnacles and seaweed growing off of him….so he starts attacking his own son….also Davy Jones fights against Elizabeth Swan…and as she was about to be stabbed by him….Will Turner joins in and stabs Davy Jones…that doesn’t do anything to him….and well he knocks will Turner on the floor….right near his dad….anyways Jack Sparrow takes Davy Jones heart out of the chest and puts his broken sword to the heart and was about to stab Davy Jones heart…but then…Davy Jones turns around and uses Norrington sword and stabs will Turner in the heart…because he sees that Elizabeth Swan and Will Turner love each other and Davy Jones is a heartless mutated man who hates love…because he felt betrayed by calypso…so now Elizabeth is on the floor panicking a bit, and while this is happening…Bootstrap Turner gets his memory back and he sees his son on the floor dying, so now he’s pissed and tries to attack Davy Jones…and a bit of a fight happens between Davy Jones and Bootstrap Turner….and as soon Davy Jones is about to kill Bootstrap Turner….we see Jack Sparrows broken sword impale Davy Jones heart…and well of course he feels that because his own heart been stabbed…and he turns around to see who stabs his heart….of course we think Jack Sparrow did it…but nope …Will Turner shoved Jack Sparrow sword into Davy Jones heart….so will Turner killed Davy Jones…think u all know what that means….so anyways Davy Jones last breath was him saying…calypso…then he literally falls off the side of the ship and into the whirlpool….and thats the end of Davy Jones……..or should have been, until Disney decided to hint to his return in the end credits or dead men tell no tales….Jesus lord…so now Will Turner dies…and well the whole flying Dutchman crew come out of nowhere and start repeatedly saying part of the crew part of the ship, part of the crew part of the ship…so then Jack Sparrow grabs Elizabeth and they both get off the boat…while um (this happens off screen) but Bootstrap Bill takes Will Turner heart out and puts it into the chest…making will Turner the new captain….so then the Dutchman sinks into the whirlpool…….

so now Jack Sparrow and Elizabeth Swan make it back to the black pearl…and it ain’t over yet they still have the navy fleet to deal with…..so the black pearl starts heading over towards Cutler Becket ship….and both Cutler Becket ship and the black pearl..start getting there cannons ready…and as soon as that happens…the flying Dutchman comes out of the water…then on the ship we see the crew turning back to normal people…including Bootstrap Bill Turner….so anyways we see that will Turner is alive and now captain…so he steers his ship onto the other side of Becket ship…and both the black pearl and flying Dutchman start shooting cannon balls at Beckets ship…so now the ship gets destroyed…heck it blows up…also Becket has totally given up …he didn’t give any orders he just froze and that’s it…he blew up with the ship…as a broken coward…he acted all tough…but then when his perfect little world turned to shite…thats when he freezes and gives up….yay…now the day is saved, so then all the pirates on every pirate ship start celebrating….also guess who snuck onto thr black pearl and disguise themselves as pirates….u guessed right…its Murtogg and Mullroy….no there not there undercover…mainly because the royal navy got defeated….so now the 2 bumbling navy solders are now 2 bumbling pirates…don’t worry this ain’t the last time we see them…they come back in the fifth installment in this franchise….so after the pirates celebrate….Elizabeth Swan goes onto land to say goodbye to will Turner…he asks her to keep his heart safe….aww…and eww….see he can’t see her again till another 10 years…how wonderful…pfff…..sad if u ask me….so then we cut to Jack Sparrow trying to being 2 woman back to the black pearl…but guess what,  the black pearl got taken away by Barbossa…and he took Jack’s crew as well including the charts…and only left mr Gibbs behind on the docks…and he is napping…anyways….so we cut to Barbossa and he does open the charts and he noticed that someone (Jack Sparrow) cut out the map part of the map and left well the rest of the paper for Barbossa….how lovely…..then we cut to Jack Sparrow on a small boat and looking at the map..and he toying with it and he lines up 2 parts together that form into a drawing of a chalice….then he looks at his compass and takes out a bottle of rum…then he says …drink up, me hearties yo ho….and the film ends there….thank the lord I made it through…oh wait i have 2 more movies to go…

…I honestly have no idea why I decided to review the first 3 by shot by shot….I didn’t need to give that much details…well I guess I did…so people won’t get confused….so anyways there is an end credit scene where it shows Elizabeth Swan and her son Henry Turner..standing on a mountain and waiting for will Turner to come back…and they look out in the distance and see the flying Dutchman coming towards land…and thats it….ok I overall..thought this was the weakest out of the first 3….not saying it bad…no, we have not got to the worse one yet…don’t worry we will soon…I give this film a solid 8/10
