this is gonna contain massive spoilers also this review is gonna be more of a rant….then a review because oh boy do I have many complaints with this film…..so let’s get started….also heres trailer

Firstly I don’t think I need to point this out…but I will, this film is so inaccurate to the book it isn’t even funny….but before I get any further into that I want to put up some soundtrack videos from the film…..either u will enjoy them or be unnerved by it or hate it…idk I’m not the judge of yall….u guys make up ur own assumption lolo

So the plot of this film is Brad Pitt character named Jerry…is asked to come back into the military to go travel around the world to look for where this unkown zombie virus has come from so they can create a vaccine to stop it….yeah thats the plot in a nutshell….oh btw the zombies are fast running zombies that can climb up walls, buildings, anything really…..plus these zombies don’t eat people they bite people to infect them….also people turn into zombie within 12 seconds but later in the film Jerry finds out from some other military people that they turn within 5 to 10 min….but that never gets brought up again…instead they stick with the people turn into zombies within 12 seconds….so what was the point of the 5 to 10 min line….it seems like this film was written by more then 1 different per- oh that’s right this film was written by 4 to 5 different script writers…Jesus that just screams a mess…anyways so yeah this script is no where the same as the book….where the book is about after the 14 year zombie war has ended and humanity is rebuilding itself, also a news reporter goes around different countries asking different survivors to recall and tell there encounter with the zombie war….the book tackles different people…some good honest people…and others not so much, the others where money greedy bastards who wanted to make a profit off of making vaccine for the virus…..its intriguing to get different views I recommend reading the book or reading my review on the book…….so yeah besides the film being so inaccurate it isn’t funny….the plot is just a whole entire mess…lets break it down…..so the military comes up with this decision to send Brad Pitt and a scientist dude but mainly Brad Pitt…to go around the world to search where this virus came from so they can make a vaccine to stop it, oh and they got 3 days before humanity is gonna end due to the zombie outbreak……yeah there’s so much wrong here, where to begin…firstly they got 3 days till humanity ends…how do they know that especially since they don’t understand this virus? Well my best assumption is the script says so…thats how they know that info…. secondly the world is gonna end in 3 days and they want to search where the virus originated from…so there best solution is to send 1 man to travel around the world basically to find a needle in a haystack……why don’t they send multiple scientist people around the world to search for where the virus came from….not 1 singular man…before u say no they sent 2…u Said so…pfff plz it’s 1 person because like 4 min after they go out on there task…that second scientist dude dies…and he dies pathetically he runs back into the cargo plane slips on rain and accidentally shoots himself in the head….welp talk about a useless character……but yes seriously why not send more then one person? Why rely on all ur faith into Brad Pitt?….third issue do the military people think a vaccine is gonna be the answer to curing the undead? Because all they say is if we make a vaccine we can stop this…..stop what? Got any plans on how to kill the undead? Have y’all put any thought into that? I mean we don’t see the military people going out there fighting the undead…instead they are hiding on there military boats in the ocean calling in people….so seriously do u guys just think vaccine equals instant fix for all this? Yeah sorry not how vaccines work….vaccines don’t cure people they prevent u from dying from a virus…furthermore how do u cure death basically? Because if they really believe the vaccine can save them that empties they think vaccine can be used on zombies but seriously how do u cure death? Because u cant….at that point there dead and revived……i mean there’s 3 ways the sentence make a vaccine to stop it could mean… 1. It could mean lets inject people who aren’t affected and hope they don’t turn into those things ever… or 2. It means hey lets use vaccine to cure everyone including zombies so we can go back to normal life… or 3. Let’s inject people and it will cure them…..see this is the issue when u phrase a sentence so vague…..u pick which u think they mean…but I’m just gonna say this I ain’t picking because I don’t care to pick, because that mean I’d have to give 2 shites about this film…..also another glaring issue is well do they think that brad pitt can somehow before 3 days are up which is when humanity falls ..that he can locate the virus, somewhere located on planet earth, bring it back to them then they create a vaccine for it all in the spam of 3 days? Yeah im calling Bullshite on that….it takes way more then 3 days to make a vaccine heck it takes months on months even years sometimes…..maybe a year…but 3 days? Hahahaha sure yep totally, i oh so believe this totally believable situation….sighhh…anyways let’s talk about my other issues with this film….Brad Pitt has wayyy to much plot armor, to me its lazy….for instance we see in this film the zombies are so fast that they will and can catch up to someone and bite them…but yet when Brad Pitt is in a room the zombies barley get up to him…he always makes it out of the situation…because the script says so…..heck there’s a scene where there in Jerusalem and there being chased by zombies but Brad Pitt has enough time to stop for 5 to 6 seconds stand there look around and notice things around him…..how convenient yes very convenient……anyways so they go to the first location where they meet some military people……let me summarize up what he finds out….uhhh no idea where the virus originated, the cornel of that place including all the other staff are burnt and dead……oh and we find out from a prisoner that apparently get this Jerusalem is survivor this outbreak because 2 weeks ago they got an email that has the word zombie in it…so they decided to build a wall……sighhh ok now where just going into absurd territories aren’t we film? They built a wall around a giant city in the spam of 2 weeks because they saw a email that had the word zombie in it…yeah where do I begin firstly let’s be real here if any of this was real majority of us would just think that was a spam, we’d barley glance an eye at it Prob delete it…..not u know believe in it…but nah…the people in world War z be like oh wait we got an email that says zombie…well shite this must be legit…lets drop and stop what where doing and build a wall…lols…….secondly how do u build a giant wall in the spam of 2 weeks? Answer it isn’t humanly possible……what do they have the flash with them helping them building the wall? Because if they don’t then it ain’t possible….even if u get everyone in the city building the wall….completing it in 2 weeks is not possible!!….heck buildings these days takes up to months at best sometimes years to be finished……2 weeks my a$$…..go suck it film….ur loosing me….oh wait u already lost me with ur inaccuracies to the book……anyways so then they fly to Jerusalem they go talk to person who’s in charge of the place or a person who is….he decides to show Brad Pitt character what exactly Jerusalem is doing…there allowing people to come in….If ur wondering how there doing that so safely….well for u see they have roads caged up outside where cars are coming in through…now also if ur wondering how far do they go to and why Don’t the zombies u know run in through the front of the cages to try to get into the town or why do none of the zombies try climbing up the walls? Yet we see them crawling and scratching there way at the cages…….welp I hope y’all are ready to die with those questions in ur head because they never get answered….anyways so we find out that well what a shocker….they don’t know where the virus came from….also Brad Pitt asks about India and the guy says India is a black hole…ok hold it hold it….in the trailer that line was what about Russia how do I get it and the guy says Russia is a black hole….not India….the trailer came out 2 months before it came out in theaters….what happened in the spam of that 2 months where they decided to go back and edit that line in the film? BTW in the original script they where gonna have Brad Pitt character land in Russia at the end….then end up having to help the military men fight against giant horde of zombies….also never reunite with his family but the company basically said no no we need to rewrite the script we need a happy ending Brad Pitt must reunite with his family….so the whole Russia thing got scrapped….but why did the line get change to India? It’s not like that go to India at all in this film…..so uhh huh? Talk about an unnecessary change of dialog in post editing……anyways so the entire city of people start singing with microphones….but shouldn’t they know that will attract the zombies to them? Sigh…anyways so the zombies start hearing the noise then start piling up on each other on the side of the walls like a giant swarm of ants…..well that’s eerie….so then they start to climb to the top jump onto the ground and start attacking everyone….yeah I’m calling some BS here….we’re now playing very loose here with how human bodies work….let’s look at other zombie media type stuff if we see said zombie plop from high high above they splat onto the ground into mush…..basically they’re not functional…but yet somehow these zombies can fall from a giant tall wall and not splat and oh yeah suffer no broken bones, get up still run as if they didn’t just fall off a tall building…..uh huh sure…..thats not how any of the body works even zombies because they use to be humans…what does the zombie virus in this film universe give u superhuman regeneration abilities?….anyways so Brad Pitt starts running away with military people protecting him…..while he’s getting chased he has time to drop for 5 seconds look straight ahead of Jim see a random kid being avoided by the zombies…..for some reason…keep that in mind it important for later….anyways so one of the military guards gets bit on the hand by a zombie so Brad Pitt cuts her hand off and we start seeing blood coming from her ste- oh wait never mind this film is PG-13 theres no blood….I guess this film is saying dismemberment of limbs equals to no blood…idk I’m trying to rationalize this….oh btw in the director and Brad Pitt words they added no blood and made this film PG-13 so it can appeal to kids…uh huh? What parent exactly is gonna take there young kids to see a movie about zombies? Well let me rephrase that what proper parent would…clearly Brad Pitt isn’t proper or rational because he let his kids go see this film…..best dad of the year aren’t I right? So yeah they thought no blood means it’s safe for kids…ok but once again hows a movie about zombies meant for kids? Huh are u guys wanting to traumatize kids? Sigh anyway so Brad Pitt and the military person gets onto a random airplane, where they take off with other people on board…..then Brad Pitt while healing the military person stump…he has a realization…..right as soon as the military person says now I’m a liability……he then has a flash back to earlier at the airport where he talked to the military guys and one of them had a injured leg…..he says to him nah my leg been bothering me for a while….so with this 2 pieces of words or evidence…he comes up with the brilliant idea to go to the front of the plane where the pilots are….have them call up his military friend on the other end of his walkie talkie….so he can prove he’s on a mission so he can tell them to land the plane at a CDC place of sorts…..how just how? Howww? Do u come up with any of that from 2 words…keep in mind those 2 words where I’m a liability…and nah my leg been bothering me for a while……u know what we’re moving on because if we stay on this for to long we will be here for a while and lose our sanity…….anyways so the pilots now flying to CDC place…..also guess what uh oh a zombie snuck on the plane….dog senses it behind a closed hanger locker……one of the flight attendees ignore the dog….she opens it anyways and zombie jumps out of it and bites her….uh huh 2 issues come to mind… 1. How did this zombie sneak on board without being seen? 2. How did the zombie stay quiet? Are they ninjas now? Did this zombie go to ninja training class? Since when where these zombies quiet? Because up to now they have not been quiet…..heck they’ve been the opposite of quiet!!….movie plz keep continuity and make some sense!!….anyways so the zombies start infecting people…Brad Pitt tosses a grenade at the side of the plane…it blows open a whole sensing the zombies outward…then the plane crashes….they conveniently land near the CDC…..Brad Pitt gets injured, they walk to CDC…..Brad Pitt falls unconscious they take them inside he wakes up days later…blah blah blah….he tells the scientists there…one of which is played by Peter Capaldi of all people…anyways he then gets a call from his military friend who tells them basically oh pfff I’m sorry we thought u where dead so we kicked ur family off our boat….whoopsie…..now u would think in this position with this thought in his head that his own wife and 2 daughters got kicked off the boat…u would think he would show tons of emotion…that he’d break down….u know maybe get angry…..but nope his reaction is just….uhhh ughhh what does that mean? Yughhhh…………”ughhhh what DoES that mean!? Yughhhhh!”……that gotta be the most mundane reaction to hearing that ur family been kicked off away……possibly to there death……….ahhhh what does that mean!!!……lolo……..anyways so he tells the scientists he wants to get there most dangerous disease because because pffff get this…just hold on guys yall aren’t prepared for this….so he wants a disease because get this during his exploring around the world he stopped and noticed 3 people getting avoided by the zombies….and he somehow deducted that those 3 people must have been sick…..and that the zombies avoid infecting sick people because they must need healthy living hosts to infect……uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh uhhhh…..ahhhh!!!….I’m sorry what? How how did u get all that out of noting 3 people getting avoided by the zombies…..so because u saw zombies avoid 3 people u have deducted somehow that those 3 must have been sick, that zombies need to infect healthy hosts, and that u think infecting everyone with a disease will blend them in and make the zombies not want to bite u……

……yeah talk about one giant leap and stretch of logic there……anyways so he tells them he needs there deadliest disease…they tell him the only way to test his hypothesis is by injecting himself with the virus then go in a room face to face with a zombie….he says he agrees to that…they say they got all the equipment to do this test but all but the diseases of there’s are located in B wing…which Brad Pitt asks what’s wrong with B wing? So the scientists show him B wing on there security cameras…..what’s seen om the cameras is all the scientists in B wing have been infected and are now zombies….because the scientists where’s looking at sample of virus in a container…..sighh u had one job, not only was it one job but it is ur job….aren’t y’all suppose to be experienced in this? This is ur job right? I mean the camera shows the scientists dude putting sample down then looking at his hand then flinging his hand back and forth as if he’s trying to get something off of it…what did he get a bit of the sample on his glove? Yeah brilliant idea oh whoopsie i got a tab bit of this unknown virus onto my glove so uhh i think I’m gonna fling it around till it gets everywhere around me and onto me…yeah smart decision……..ughhhh stupidity at its finest……BTW if ur wondering what’s there protection between them and the B wing zombies is uh a walkway thats locked up by a metal bar and chairs stacked on each other……uhhh ok here comes my other issue……why do these scientists people stick around here? Seriously? They’re not doing anything as we can tell….they don’t say they’ve been working on cure or vaccine anything…there just basically sitting around…..but furthermore why stick around in a building that has zombies in it? Side note can we stop calling these creatures in the film zombies…there not zombies…..thats another pet peeve of mine, idk who in the world of world War z looked at those fast running things that bite people once…and thought ou yeah those are zombies…uh no…zombies are slow rotting corpses that eat people….ain’t nothing what I said would describe a zombie….so how did they come up with those things being zombies is beyond me…so from now on I’m calling them infected….so anyways now they have to enter B wing blah blah blah so they get some weapons and I kid u not this team they put together if u looked at them u would probably think the odds be against them…the team consists of Brad Pitt with an axe….the one hand military lady who has her stump lifted up in a cast….keep in mind…also having a hand gun…and 1 scientist dude with a wooden baseball bat….hmmmm yep logic would say y’all gonna die but so remember the power of plot armor and script convenience will save them…….so they move there oh so safe barricades….go into B wing….and proceed to look around……they have to sneak past some zombies hear and there…oh no will they be heard? Will the infected kill them? What do u think? 

So anyways, uhhh they do actually get chased by the zombies I mean infected because clumsy scientist over here accidentally bumps into a metal crate which creates noise…..s……anyways so they start running….Brad Pitt then uses a crowbar he has…..oh wait I forget to mention the scientists dude actually had a crowbar and the military lady had baseball batt and hand gun….my bad….but still, so Brad Pitt tells the 2 to run in the opposite direction to get the disease there looking for while he lures the zombies to him…so he starts banging on the side of railing with the crowbar….attracting the infected to him…he starts running he then runs up to a pressurized door….opens it and a zombie makes it in as well while the other infected I mean….bump into each other and accidentally close the door…awww how sweet they closed the door to save energy……lololo…..blah blah anyways so he luckily hides behind a wall and smashes the zombie in the face….very convenient he didn’t get bite…anyways while his bar is stuck in the face lf that zombie I mean infected….another infected comes charging st him but uh oh his weapon is stuck how will he ever get it out …oh bug off don’t worry he gets it out in the nick of time and smashes the zombie infected I meant into the wall then smashes his foot in its face to kill it but remember there no blood because PG-13 u know for the kids…..sighh….so then the other 2 get blocked by zombies so they run back to the hallway to get out of B wing…..they make it and there scientist friends open the door up…they get to the other side and close the doors on time because the infected start piling in front of the door…uh ohh…anyways back to Brad Pitt he names it the room where he needs to get at….he gets there needs a code so one of the scientists calls him up on the phone……uhhhh why didn’t they just give him the code before they entered B wing? What was the point of taking this massive risk of phone ringing and possibly attracting infected to y’all? Good grief the stupidity is abundantly clear here…..anyways he punches in the code…decides to leave the crowbar outside the room….

…goes inside finds random containers of needles and viruses and all that but uh the door is closed and there’s a zombie I mean infected on the other end….welp looks like u should have brought that crowbar inside with u dummy….so now he has to ravage throw the boxes of virus and needles then guess which is which one he’s after….then inject himself and test it also hope he doesn’t die…..yeahhh so uh yeah u really should have just bought ur weapon inside with u….also I find what about to happen next to be stupid….so the entire time he’s looking through the boxes…..the scientists on the other end of the camera are being like oh shite oh shite no not that one…while he’s holding up individual vials at the camera for there approval…..also while there saying that there using a joystick to zoom in closer….uhhh gee idk guys….if u want to clarify which virus is the right one so he doesn’t inject himself with the wrong virus…..why don’t u guys use the joystick to nod the camera up and down or left and right….so he knows which one is the right one?…hmmmmm!!?….does anyone think in this film logically at all? Or are all these things happening because it’s convenient to the script? Either way neither of those 2 positions are great….let me put this in context…either the characters in this film are stupid and only use there 2 brain cells…or the script is such a mess, caused by the writers, that have it so the plot tells the characters to be or act stupid….u pick which is worse because I say neither is great….so anyways he then pulls out a pen and a paper and writes tell my family I love them..then shows it at the camera….sighhh all this could been avoided if any of my logical ideas where ever considered in this film…so he just grabs a random vile…put some of it in the needle then injects himself with it, then sits there for a while to let it kick in..then he opens the door up the zombie walks in and walks past him as if he didn’t notice him…oh it worked so Brad Pitt leaves the room closes the door takes the case he took that virus out from and goes and grabs a Coca-Cola from a vending Machine? Huh?…then proceeds to walk past all the zombies in the hallway while there running the opposite way past him because they heard a noise over that way…so hurray he found the right disease so they inject him with a cure then him and the military lady leave….and I have a complete and utter issue with this entire 3rd act….where do I freaking begin….firstly ur telling me we just wasted 1 hour and 40 min to a stupid plot that involved Brad Pitt finding the cure to humanity…..and yet he doesn’t even do that…nah instead he decides to have the brilliant idea of let’s infect everyone with a disease it should make them invisible to the infected……

….well that’s almost 2 hours I’m never getting back….and then secondly the major issue……what is exactly u and ur dumb military plan here to kill the infected? U came up with a solution for how to make people not get bite by them….bravo I guess? But what’s ur plan exactly to kill the already infected? U can’t cure death also furthermore seriously what’s ur plan!!…oh nothing? Yep sounds about right…..the closest to an explanation of what gonna happen next is Brad Pitt narrating saying if any people can stand up and fight then fight….uh huh yep great solution let’s put innocent people in danger by defending themselves against the Usain Bolt zombies…..yep awesome idea military, seems like u oh so planned this out and didn’t just make this up while going along….

…..also let’s for a min pretend to say that Brad Pitt character came up with an idea and let’s say that said idea is to infect people with a virus to make them camouflage…then plan B is to have every single person fight against the undead…..yeah there’s just one major issue with this plan if this is the case…uhh how do y’all expect a bunch of sick people to fight? Sick people don’t have energy an all that to fight….heck when I’m sick I can barley get out of bed, let alone go and fight….once again brilliant strategy here Brad Pitt and military folks….u guys are totally not screwed at all ….also the film ends with Brad Pitt saying out war has just begun……and thats it……so that means it was setting up for a sequel….that will probably never happen because it got put on hold indefinitely as of like 2020 I believe……and I hope it stays there in limbo…we don’t need a sequel to this…..what we need is a faithful TV show adaptation of the book….and no Netflix doesn’t need to make it….there starting to loose my respects….but that’s for another time….anyways I absolutely hate this film if u couldn’t tell…..so I won’t be doing pros and cons here because as u can tell….I have mo pros….oh wait here’s one…the film is done and I can finally get on with anything else….heck I’m better off playing the world war Z video game its way more faithful to the book yet it has fast zombies in the game….the book doesn’t…so the game is taking elements from both film and book so I respect that…overall thoughts is uhhh -100/10 bad movie glad I got rid of my DVD of this film…..hurray I’m done…..btw here’s a behind the scenes video of how they came up with the fast zombies in this film enjoy
