Terrifier

I’m gonna start off with a warning…… warning 
  this is gonna contain heavily spoilers and a double warning 
 this film and the second film are not for the faint of heart, these 2 films are unrated low budget gore fest slasher films but if they were rated they’d be rated NC-17 that’s for sure which is higher than rated R…so keep that in mind u been warned…here’s the trailer…BTW the trailer has gore in it so if u don’t like gore then Prob don’t watch it or listen to this review……

I want to start off with saying some facts about this film, this film has the budget of 35k…yeah not a big amount if u ask me….its a very low budget film….anyways this is gonna be a shorter review because barley much of anything happens…so fair warning…..

So the plot (wait sorry this film doesn’t have a plot My bad), more accurately the way the events happen in this film goes like, well it starts with a TV screen turning on and it shows a woman interviewing a deformed victim woman….who is really deformed, her face is skeletal, had one eye missing, upper lip missing, scares on the face…..jeeez….anyways do after the interview is done the interviewer tells her friend kill me if I ever end up looking like that deformed victom…ohhhh, unfortunately she over hears this and snaps and jumps out of the cloth rack then proceeds to gouge her eyes out…..I did warn yall this was gonna be a gory film…anyways the main story? Starts when 2 drunk girls are stumbling out at night and they bump into a creepy clown who’s just staring at them with a creepy smile, ans holding a garbage bag….ans BTW this is our killer art the Clown if ur wondering….anyways they both go into a pizzeria and it’s empty…..unfortunately the Clown follows them into the place and sits across from them and says nothing and just stares at them…..yeah I’m no expert but my instincts would tell me to leave because that Clown doesn’t look friendly at all….I mean to describe his look, he looks like a mime, with a pointy nose, black colored lips, a creepy grin, oh and a small hat on the side of his head….does any of that sound friendly looking? So then one odlf the drunk girls proceeds to go over to the Clown, sit on his lap. ..move his head towards her then take a selfie with him ……sighh just what why? Nothing again looks friendly about this Clown? Ur just asking urself to die…..but can’t deny just the expressionless Clown sitting there with a frown even with the girl sitting on his lap and taking a selfie with him kinda made me laugh…..then the owner comes and kicks the Clown out of the store for reasons I feel to gross out mentioning I’ll just say thus he left a purposeful mess in the bathroom…..yeah yuck……so then the 2 girls leave and drive away bur unfortunately one of them needs to go to the restroom so they stop a building that has a janitor at it…..he allows her in…BTW while this is happening art the Clown shows back up at the pizzeria and slaughters the workers at the pizzeria in gory fashion, I won’t get into details…..anyways so the girl goes to the restroom and unfortunately for the other girl art the Clown enters the car and knocks her out….yeez talk about being creepy…….so then we cut back to the girl in the building and she runs into mentally ill woman who mistakens a baby doll as her baby…..yeah this film is weird……and my reaction is just ok then…..unfortunately around the corner she bumps into art the Clown and he knocks her out, she wakes up tied up to a chair….with something covered in front of her…….and he pulls down the curtain and its her friend tied upside down and naked….now uh to avoid giving any details because this scene was so graphic that I looked away so uh how do I describe this uh well hmm try imaging holding a hotdog straight up and u taking a knife ans cutting in half straight down very careful and slowly to make it a even cut….yep….so uh yep that’s the tame way to describe that scene and that’s all I’ll say about this scene let’s move on……anyways so with her friend dead she breaks lose and smashes art the Clown in the head with the leg of the chair, and she runs away……unfortunately art catches up with her and she starts beating her up and we see something we never see slashers in horror films do…art the Clown pulls out a gun and shoots her….well that’s definitely a cheap movie and he shoots her to death…and we’re half way through the film…..huh?…yeah do the 2 main characters we followed are now dead so yall are wondering wait then who’s the main character?..well so then we get introduced to another woman who’s a sister to one of the characters that just died…..she comes there, while that happens that Crazy lady finds art the Clown holding her baby doll….and this just gets weird….well weirder then this film is already…..he’s cuddling the baby and she comes to him and holds art the Clown ans asks him do u have any care or soul in u….and she hugs him, he starts sucking his finger and lays her head in her arms?..the f**k? Yeah so besides confusion out of the way…..the girl shows up and she finds her dead sister tied up….we get a sad moment where she’s upset about seeing her sister dead…..then art shows up starts shasing her….he at one point honks a Clown horn at her for no reason, rides a small bicycle? Huh?…..then oh yeah he rams a car to her knocking her to the ground then the film ends with him eating her face up ans cops show up then art shoots herself in the head and it’s all over we now see the deformed woman in the beginning is this woman…so uh talk about a grim ending…..and art is dead….oh wait he isn’t….he ends up waking up in a morgue somehow even with a hole in his head and a missing eye ball….then he starts shocking the doctor dude…and thats how the film ends….with a bunch if unanswered questions such as is art the Clown supernatural? I mean probably….he did survive getting shot in the head…now time for pros and cons

Positives:

I love this film I have to give respect to the director he was able to make this film look as good as it is with just a budget of 35k…..thats vaguely much in Hollywood, granted this isn’t made by Hollywood….but still…..props to him I support indie films to be honest because they’re forced to tell a interesting story with not big budget…..also I really like art the Clown I can see him becoming the next horror movie icon villian….now onto the negatives

Negatives:

The main 2 issues with this film is it lacks in any plot whatsoever….and that kinda drags this film down Slightly…..second issue the film lacks in a main character to follow…once again it’s hard to follow anyone because we don’t have a main character to root for…but if u wanted to just see this film for the gore then yeah this film delivers on it granted Slightly over done but still

Overall I loved this film but honestly the second film fixes the issues this film had…but this is still an enjoyable film…..just not meant for everyone…..so my rating is ah 7/10…..not bad could be better though
