Welcome everyone to my last and finale Halloween themed reviews since the time I’m writing this is tne last Friday in October…..now I thank the people who decided to read these reviews….now I have a special treat for u guys today…don’t worry no trick…haha…little Halloween humor…anyways….today since its the day before Halloween I’m gonna be reviewing the classic Halloween movie and the 2018 Halloween movie  (thanks to this remake it has rebooted the franchise and made the movies that came after the first Halloween movie no longer count…now the 2018 Halloween movie is the new official sequel to the classic Halloween movie)…. Also keep in mind there’s going to be keep in mind there gonna be 2 more Halloween movies….one of them is called Halloween kills…which was supposed to come out this year but now will be coming out October 15th 2021 ..and the last one called Halloween ends…will air in either 2022 or 2023…probably 2023 if they delay next year Halloween again…because I bet u 2021 won’t be better but still..and because they recorded both those movies back to back…just like they did with Avengers infinity war and Avengers Endgame…so anyways with that said…sit back and get comfortable…turn off the lights and turn on ur jack-o-lantern if u have one. ..also warning these movies are rated R…for some Halloween: so where to begin…first off this movie is intense and what I call a perfect example of a really well done horror movie….the villian Michael Myers…he is the boogeyman…..he can’t die…throughout the series he has been shot at and stabbed and fell out of a building….and yet he still alive and can somehow still walk…odd part he is human and has no supernatural abilities…is what the internet says…but thats BS because he can’t die…so that qualifies as supernatural abilities….so basically in the first 2 min we see  Michael Myers as a kid…from his point of view during Halloween…one night while his family is away and he is in the house with his sister and her boyfriend….so anyway in third person view we see him kill her boyfriend with a knife and then go upstairs and enter his sisters room while she is naked ..and well stabs her to death…so then he goes outside with blood on his clown outfit and with a bloody knife in his hand..and well his parents come up to him and looking at him with concern….and see we never get any motivation on why he killed his sister and her boyfriend…and or why he kills people…and that what makes him terrifying…oh and I forget to mention he doesn’t talk…even him as a kid in that scene he didn’t talk….so now its sometime later in the future like several decades….and this teenager named Lauri strod,  is going to go babysit a kid on Halloween knight while her friends party……not knowing that Michel Myers escaped the mental asylum…and now his psychiatrist….Dr Loomis….is now hunting down Michel Myers…to put a bullet in Michel head…..so we don’t see what Michel Myers look like…u see in this film he wears a white mask with a empty express on his mask and with empty black sockets (meaning we can’t see his eyes) and his mask has brown hair and he wears a dark blue janitors outfit and he uses a knife to kill people….so anyways I forget to mention he only comes our every Halloween to kill people….so on this knight he kills Laurie friend’s and tries to kill her…don’t worry she makes it out alive including the kids she was babysitting…we get the iconic scene where she’s in a closet and he opens it and tries to grab her and she stabs him in the eyeball with a coat rack…oh BTW he falls on the ground Unconscious and she walks away from him without taking his knife and turns her back away from him…

….and guess what he sits back up and comes over to her and tries to stab her….so then Loomis comes and shoots him multiple times and he falls out the window and he is laying in the grass…then Dr Loomis looks at Lauri then looks back at Michel and he isn’t there…he disappeared…the end….so what do I think about this film…I absolutely loved it…its a classic horror movie thats worth a watch…especially…especially on Halloween day….I give this film a solid 9/10

Halloween 2018: ok so im gonna start off with saying this specific Halloween movie is a reboot to the Franchise….so ignore the other Halloween movies that came after Halloween 1978…Halloween 2018 is now the official sequel in the entry….so with that put of the way…….in the beginning of this film…these 2 reporters who are doing podcast….are trying to talk to Michel Myers (who has been locked up in an insane asylum,  since that Halloween night in 1978) and now its October 2018…so Michal Myers new psychiatrist (i forget his name…let’s just call him the loony doctor …u will understand later why I call him that)…so anyways loony doctor takes the 2 reporters to Michel Myers and he doesn’t talk…of course, and they take our his mask out of their bag…hoping he will talk, but nope he doesn’t…..infact one of them kept saying…..say something!!….nope he didn’t talk…again it what makes him scary…ok so now the 2 reporters go interview Laurie strode…who is now living in the forest, alone in a house that has traps in it to be prepared in case Michal Myers escapes…so this is how prepared she is…for majority of her life after that one unfortunate night..she has been preparing herself by training to use every guns including knives….and this is how protected her house is…her house has a secret bunker room in her kitchen….it located under the counter …and to access u have to press a button underneath the table….its really well hidden….and in her bunker she has alot of guns and some explosives and enough food to last her months….oh and she has some traps in her house…..so of course they talk to her…only after they brib her with 4 hundred dollars…she takes her payment after the interview….oh here’s another’s thing this movie reckoned…in the original Halloween movies starting in episode 2…we find out Lauri strode is Michel Myers sister…but now in the rebooted Halloween movie…she no longer his sister…so yeah now we cut over to a woman named Karen strode (that’s right Laurie has a daughter) and well she is an adult and she has her own daughter named Allyson Nelson….and Karen has a husband named (I forget his name…lets just call him husband)….so anyways Allyson is heading to school..on foot with her friends…and of course when she gets to school…we get a recreation of a classic scene…in the original Halloween movie…Lauri strode is in class in the back seat and she looks out the window and see Michel Myers….in the 2018….Allyson is in class …in the back…in the same seat as Lauri was sitting at…and she looks outside the window and she sees Lauri strode standing out there….clever if u ask me…and a nice callback….so anyway….later that night Michel Myers is being transported to a prison…so they transfer him on to a prison bus and well Dr nut job goes on the bus as well to watch over Michel Myers….and well the bus crashes….and Michel Myers escapes…and his first 2 victims is a boy and his dad who were driving in that area…Michel Myers snaps the fathers neck and he well strangles the kid to death….hm lovely….haven’t seen Michel Myers kills kids before…so that’s something…so anyways Michel Myers goes to a gas station and guess who else is there….the 2 reporters…the female reporter goes to the bathroom while the male reporter stays outside getting gas into the car…so then well he hears about Michel Myers escaped…and he decides to go check on the worker and he find the workers…at the gas station…dead with there head bashed in…and one of the dea bodies is missing a dark blue janitors outfit….oh dear….so anyways Michel Myers goes into the girls bathroom….and tries to open the stall that the woman is in…and he decides to put his hand over the stall and opens his hand…and well a handful of human teeth fall from his hand and onto the floor…and at that moment the guy comes in and Michel Myers smashes the guys head i to a wall multiple times till he dies…and then he opens the stall and strangles the woman to death…and well he opens the car trunk and takes his mask and puts it on…finally t the 45 min mark of this film…I believe….he finally wearing his signature outfit…..Ok so we do find out that Karen…who’s Laurie strode daughter…is estranged with her mother….see, when she was a kid Lauri taught her to fight and defend herself…and didn’t let her play or be a kid…then one day Laurie daughter gets taken away by cops because they didn’t feel like Lauri was fit to take care of a daughter…..and thats why she doesn’t like her mother…..while on the other hand Allyson is trying to fix the tension between both of them….Lauri strode in this movie has a bit of PTSD…which is understandable because of that terrifying Halloween night in 1978…so now its Halloween night and Michel Myers is going through a neighborhood and he enters a few people homes and he kills a elderly woman with a hamer and then takes her kitchen knife…and goes into another woman’s home and slits the woman’s throat….jeez….as u can tell the body count in this film is higher in this film…in the 1978 film he killed 5 people…but in the 2018 film he kills…17! People…yikes he is out for blood shed in this film…and then well we cut to Allyson at a school halloween dance….and she leaves because she catches her boyfriend kissing another girl…so as she is leaving and walking back home she encounters Michel Myers….right after Michel Myers  kills another of her  guy friend…by impailing him in a metal gate…..and then she runs away and he starts shasing her…(well shasing in his own way…see he just walks slowly to his victims) and well of course now Allyson mother can’t get ahold of her…so she calls the cops…and while this happening a cop named chief Hawkins is investigating a house because Michel Myers was seen in this house and he killed 2 of Allyson friend’s….Michel Myers kills the guy friend by stabbing a knife through him against a wall which somehow is able to pin him up against the wall and he kills the lady friend and sits her up in a chair in a boy room and put a blanket over her to make her look like a ghost…so of course Lauri strode is there as well and then more cops come including dr nut job…and she calls him the new Loomis…but thats not true…so then Dr nut job and chief Hawkins go find Allyson and find her and they drive away and find Michel Myers…and of course chief Hawkins runs Michel Myers over and goes outside and was about to kill Michel, but then Dr nut job comes out of the car and stabs chief Hawkins in the neck with a pen…what a twist…thats right Dr nut job crashed the bus himself to let Michel Myers get lose…he wanted to see what Michel Myers was like in his natural habitat….…congrats Dr…u have let lose a maniac and in doing so u costed the lives of 16 people…(but Jarrod I thought u said 17,….hold on ill get to that in a second)…so of course then he drives the cop car away with Allyson and with an Unconscious Michel Myers in the back and he tells Allyson about his evil plan because why not…of course he’s a stereotypical bad guy…so anyway Michel Myers wakes up and pushes Dr nut job out the car and onto the floor…and he says to Michael…say something..and of course Michel Myers rapes that answer by stomping his foot into Dr nut job face and well that one stomping bashes in Dr nut job head….ewww….so now Karen and her husband go to Lauri strode forest house and they wait for Allyson to come…so Lauri strode starts preparing the house for protection…of course while 2 cops are sitting in a car waiting for any news…so of course then the husband see the cop car outside and he goes outside to see if there any news and he opens the door and he sees 2 dead cops…one of the cops decapitated with his head on the bodies lap..and the inside of the head hollowed out and mouth and eyes carved open and a flashlight sticking out from his neck into his head …lighting up the inside of the corpses head…dang…talk about a creative yet disturbing kill…then he walks up behind the husband and kills the guy by strangling him with barbed wire…so now its the third act and Lauri strode is hiding in the house with her daughter…and well she closes her daughter..Karen in the bunker…then Lauri goes up to the door and Michel Myers hands beak through the windows on the door and grabs Lauri and starts strangling her and she takes her shotgun and shoots 2 of his fingers off….oooofff that gotta hurt…so now Allyson come into the house and find the secret bunker and enters it and Karen closes the bunker entrance from inside the bunker…then this 2 and a half min scene of intense happens with Lauri looking in every room trying to find Michel….she does find him and he tosses her out the window…and he looks at her and she’s laying in the grass….and then. He hears noises downstairs looks behind…then looks back outside and Lauri strode isn’t there anymore….Woo-hoo……awesome call back…u know the whole audience was clapping and shearing at this scene because its a callback….then Michel Myers finds the bunker and tries ripping the counter off so he can enter the bunker…and as soon as he does that…Karen pretends to cry and say she needs Lauri help but then Michel Myers gets into her view and she say gotcha and she shoots him in the neck…and Lauri appears behind Michel Myers and says happy Halloween Michel…and knocks him into the bunker and then Allyson and Karen climb up the stairs our of the bunker…and as soon as they get out they stitch a lever which cases bars to appear in the floor which locks Michel Myers down there..oh and of course Lauri strode turns on gas in the house…including in the bunker and then she tosses a flair into the bunker and of course with the gas in the air and the flair it sets the house on fire including the bunker…and while that’s happening Michel Myers is just standing in the bunker looking at them…and then all three of them leave the house and see a truck come up and they ask for a ride, while the house burns down…and the finale shot of this film is a close up of Allyson hand that still is holding Michel Myers knife…..dun dun dunnnnn….now we have to wait till October 15th 2021 for the sequel….I really loved this film it has some problem like the comedy and violence don’t balance out to well….to much comedy is what I’m saying….well nor to much just well more then normal for a horror movie…anyway going to give this film a solid 8.9/10…here’s a link to the trailer for this film and 2 trailers for Halloween kills
