Lego The Incredibles

Lego The Incredibles: Let’s start by showing y’all the trailers shall we?

We continue today on this Lego game review, so what’s on today’s shopping block? Oh Lego Incredibles, also here’s the main menu.

So today I won’t be discussing what the plot rundown is because we already know the movies. Nor will I mention spoilers. I’ll instead be talking about the pros and cons of this game.

Talk about the character roster and the open world, also will discuss if the levels are any good, and will also bring up a weird thing relating to this game.

So what is that weird thing? The weird thing is this game was release on the exact day The Incredibles 2 released and for some reason, they decided to have u start by playing the 2nd movie before the first movie.

Yeah, that’s smart, let’s spoil the 2nd movie to the kids before they go see the movie that same day possibly. Yeah, can’t see anything wrong here folks.

So how’s the open world? I love it. The game captures the tone and feel of the Incredibles, heck u got some cool abilities in this game such as.

If u play as Dash u can run on ocean.

If u play as Frozone u can ski across the ocean.

U can combine Violet’s shield ability with Dash speed and u can jump into her bubble and run in it with her hovering over him.

Also if u play as a fish u can swim underwater, yeah wait a fish? Ok, now it’s time to discuss the odd part of this game.

For a Lego Incredibles game, game tosses to u toss of different Pixar characters to play as. It’s as if the character roster wasn’t big enough so they had to increase it with other Pixar characters such as.

Miguel Coco

Dory

Lightning McQueen

Sully

Alfredo Linguini

Huh funny, I don’t remember those characters being in the Incredibles.

Not complaining at all, in fact, I have a fun time playing as those characters. Btw the character customization is also pretty good here, u can give ur custom character superhero abilities and change the color of their hair.

That’s as advanced as the customization extends in this game. Won’t be until Lego Marvel Superheroes 2 and Lego DC Supervillains that advance the character customization.

BTW I know this has nothing to do with the game but here’s the theme from the films, I just love the theme.

Now this is making me wanna go back and rewatch Incredibles one, btw I will mention that there’s somewhat of a downside to this game.

For instance, the levels aren’t always too compelling, but If that ain’t bad enough this game kinda tames down the films. How? Ok so remember in the first film how Mr. Incredibles friend Tazer Beam hasn’t been seen from for ages?

Then Mr. Incredible located his skeleton in a cave accidentally on Syndromes Island. Well in this game when u get to that mission, turns out Tazsr Beam is alive and he joins u which allows for a 2 player co-op.

SMH, ok so I see at the extent of making this a 2 person Co-op game we need to ruin lore to make it happen.

Now let’s get the rating out of the way, so overall I’ll give Lego Incredibles a solid 8/10, it’s a fun game I do recommend checking it out.

Hope y’all enjoyed this review, also here are the whole cutscenes from this game.

Till next time, got more related reviews coming up.
