Lego Marvel Superheroes 2: Let’s start by showing y’all the trailers shall we?

Yep that’s right folks it’s time to close off this Lego Marvel review by reviewing this game.

But first here’s the main menu.

Tada! So what’s the plot rundown y’all are wondering? Well Kang The Conquer comes down to earth in his flying sword ship.

What’s his plan? Well, he essentially steals several cities from different areas/Multiverse/time periods and merges them into 1 world.

Yes you heard that right, in the open world u have

A small part of Brooklyn

Wakanda

A medieval town

A futuristic town

Snowy 

A Hydra-themed town

A retro detective noir town

Egypt with the pyramids

A western city/mountains

Nova City

Asgard bridge that’s connected to a volcano

A small Roman area

Am underwater town

A floating town

Yeah, this map is huge, in this game u get to play as multiple heroes which is spam from the MCU and the comics.

Y’all need to team up to take down Kang and possibly save the Multiverse.

Will the gang be able to save the Multiverse? Will they stop Kang? All will be revealed in the spoilers.

But first, let’s talk about the DLC this game has along with the soundtrack.

So let’s talk about a specific character, so remember how in the first game how I mentioned u can unlock and play as Deadpool.

In this game, u get to play as this other character named Gwenpool, who’s Gweenpool? Her real name is Gwendolyn Poole she’s a Marvel comic fan.

One day she gets teleported into the comic universe, right away she meets a suit maker who mistakes her for someone related to Deadpool because her last name is Poole, so this woman makes her a pink and white skimpy version of a Deadpool suit and she just takes it.

Yeah no correlation with Deadpool, she’s never read a Deadpool comic nor has she ever cared about him. Heck, she finds him too raunchy, lolo fair.

So how do u unlock her in this game? Easy, the same way as u unlocked Deadpool in Lego Marvel Superheroes, collecting every Red Brick, but this time it’s pink bricks.

BTW my favorite characters to play in this game are

Venom

Red Hulk

Mysterio

Black Panther

Thanos (DLC)

Stanley

Winter Soldier

Also, they improved on Venom in this game, so where in the first Lego Marvel game h3 can turn into a big fig and run on the floor only, here in this game he can turn into a big fig and swing in the air.

Ok, that’s sick, also specific characters in this game can take a phone out and take a selfie, which u can display on billboards.

Yes,you heard that right, also as for the DLC, we got tons. But the one I will be mentioning is the Infinity War DLC that was released when Infinity War was released in theatres back in 2018.

Yes, 2018 I feel old saying that, and if u ask me that was truly the last greatest Marvel Film (besides Spiderman No Way Home, and Dead and Wolverine).

The reason I love this DLC pack is this film version of Thanos might be my favorite, this Thanos comes with the Infinity Gauntlet, he has essentially every ability down to Dr. Stranges ability to reverse time.

Also, this Thanos can fly by sitting on his throne that flies, it’s just fun flying around as Thanos.

Oh before I forget there’s a game mode in this game I forgot to bring up if u click the pause menu. U will see an arena button, if u go there u pick a team of 4.

What u do is Duke each other out to the death till one y’all reach the Infinity stones that land on this small map y’all are on, the one who grabs the most Infinity stones wins the match.

Who’s keeping count? Why it’s the Beyonder. Anyway time to get the rating out of the way so we can get into spoilers, overall yeah I love this game.

Funny thing, I remember when trying to get 100% in this game it took me 2 and a half months for some reason, a Lego game never took me that long before to 100%. But this one yeah there’s tons of content.

One other thing, in this game characters have a specific animation if u attack the second player with the first player, depending on who picks they will always have a different fighting animation, it’s really cool.

The only downside and I brought this up in my Lego DC Supervillains review is this game introduces us to the jigsaw puzzles, I hate those puzzles. They take up about 45% of the gold bricks u collect.

This game has some jigsaw puzzles in levels, oh goodie. Also last issue the game’s vehicles don’t move nearly as fast as they did in the first Lego Marvel Superheroes game, they move slower.

Even Ghost Riders’ motorcycle in this game moves slower, that’s not an improvement. Also, vehicles seem a bit more bulky in this game, Ghost Rider’s motorcycle looks bulky.

So overall I’ll give Lego Marvel Superheroes 2 a solid 9/10, warning spoilers ahead y’all been warned ⚠️.

Time to spoil the 3rd act and any revelations, so the gang goes onto Kang’s ship to take him down, they do stop him by using one of his gadgets which turns him into a baby.

Womp womp, heck the female sidekick he has with him does turn on him and help the gang out as well, the end. Oh did u think the worlds would be sent back to the correct destinations?

No, it’s here to stay, it’s the open world for the game were u will be playing in, so the end.
