Lego Batman 3 Beyond Gotham: Let’s start by showing y’all the trailers shall we?

It’s time to discuss this most hated Lego game…..however, what I may have to say might upset some of y’all. But before we get there let’s get the rating out of the way first so we can get into spoilers. Then we will post the soundtrack and share my favorite soundtrack from this soundtrack.

So what’s the plot rundown? This alien named Brainiac comes to attack Earth. Well, attack it more like shrink it down to add to his planet collection he has, so the Justice League gets together to prevent this from happening.

They head up to Martian Manhunters satellite base, just so happens that the villains have come through a portal and entered there as well.

So the heroes and villains do something that’s unheard of kinda, they team up.

Side note this Lego game is the first introduction to Solomon Grundy in the Lego Batman games, just thought I’d bring that up.

Anyways they have a plan to split into groups to go steal every Lantern Core container to lure the Lantern Core people to them so they will end up shooting a laser at each other of their abilities.

Which will be used to defeat Brainiac and rescue the planets he’s taken already. Unfortunately, he’s done some damage on earth by shrinking down cities and stealing them.

Will our team be able to stop Brainiac before he succeeds? All will be revealed in the spoilers.

Let’s now talk about the one major positive of this game and the one negative.

Positive: the character roster is stacked. This has got to be one of the greatest character rosters we’ve had, this game introduced us to some obscure characters such as

The Green Loontern (Daffy Duck as the Green Lantern)

Bat-Mite (an Imp from the 5th dimension)

These 2 are my favorite characters to play, also this is the first Lego game Bane can transform into a big fig.

Negative: the maps suck ass, essentially u got 5 to 6 planets to explore but the issue is it’s all from this bird’s eye view spherical scope view.

It’s this circle that u can fly or walk on, since the planets are smaller it’s all rounded and u can walk around it easily.

Yeah not the best maps, also there’s no Gotham City in this game, booo.

I will say one good part of the open world, u can go and explore the Batcave, it’s detailed as all hell.

Also if u want to ride vehicles, u can only be on one planet which is the Green Lantern planet, womp womp.

BTW remember how in Lego Batman 1 and 2, u can switch between different tech suits at stands? Well in this game all u have to do is hold down the Y button on the Xbox controller and u can change suit outfits.

But this time it’s not just for Batman and Robin, this time around

Lex Luthor and Joker also have different tech suits to change between, yes u heard that right. It is an upgrade.

Both Batman and Lex have a space flying suit, Joker has a Jack in The Box suit, well that’s a cliche.

Time to get the rating out of the way, Overall I actually find this game to be fun, yeah I know it’s not a loved game in the community but I found myself enjoying this game.

So I’ll give Lego Batman 3 Beyond Gotham a solid 7.5/10, warning spoilers ahead y’all been warned ⚠️.

Time to spoil the 3rd act and any revelations, so come the third act which takes place in Superman’s Antarctic home, they lure the lanterns and they shoot beams at each other which cross beams towards Braniac’s big giant skull ship.

But then Braniac escapes in a small skull UFO ship and comes down, enlarges Superman and mind controls him, dunn dunn dunn!

So now u have to fight against mind-controlled giant Superman. Anyways they defeat him and Superman grabs Braniac and breaks his ship.

U guys shrink him down and trap him In a bottle then send him to jail, then the league goes around and restores each town to planet Earth and restores the planets that were stolen.
