Lego Batman 2: Let’s start by showing y’all the trailers shall we?
Well let’s not beat around the bush Let’s get into this review of a timeless classic….this game I grew up playing this, so I have tons of attachment to this game and nostalgia…let’s see if it stands the test of time or if its outdated….but first let’s get the rating out of the way so we can get into some mild spoilers. Then we will post the soundtrack and share my favorite soundtrack from this soundtrack.
Side note in a way I’m doing this review in memory of Gene Hackman who passed away recently (why do I bring that up here? Because Lex Luthor is the main villain of this game).
Also, this game has a great main menu as well.
So what’s the plot rundown? One night at a ceremony that Lex and Mr. Wayne attend, Joker and his men attack the place and steal everyone’s money.
They do get tossed back in Arkham, but then that night Lex comes and saves Joker along with all the criminals which they release onto Gotham City.
The Joker and Lex team up to help Lex run for president, yes u heard that right? And how’s Lex planning on winning the pole? Easy to create a giant Joker robot that will spew out a gas that will make people worship Lex and vote for him.
Ok, that’s beyond evil, also in this game Batman gets a helping hand from Superman, say what now? Thought this was a Lego Batman game.
Yeah, this game title should been called Lego DC Heroes.
But Batman doesn’t want Superman’s help because he is a loner, so will Batman and Robin and possibly Superman be able to stop Lex and Joker? Find out in the spoilers.
Now let’s talk about the thing this game is well known for, the open world. That’s right folks this Lego game introduced 3 elements
1. An open world.
2. Dialog in a Lego game.
3. Split screen.
This makes this game important, now how’s the open world? Perfect. U get to explore all of Gotham, either ride, walk, or fly in Gotham.
The entire time it’s raining which is what’s supposed to happen, the only downsides are.
The flying mechanics didn’t age well, it’s all wonky.
The character roster isn’t the best (kinda small) (granted bigger than the Lego Batman The Video Game roster)
The DLC suck, there’s only 2 DLC and most of them feel like reskins.
Who my favorite characters to play as?
Mr. Freeze
Batman
Penguin
SuperGirl
Flash
Lex Luthor
But overall yeah the Game is worth playing, also heard the full soundtrack.
Here’s my favorite soundtrack in this game
But for now, let’s get the rating out of the way, overall yeah this game gets a solid 10/10, it’s worth it. Plz, go play this game if y’all get the chance, warning spoilers ahead y’all have been warned ⚠️.

Time to spoil the 3rd act and any revelations, after Joker Bot destroys the batmobile during a chase, Robin makes him a new batmobile but in the color of Robin’s bike.
Batman officially accepts help from Superman because they need it, unfortunately, the robot has kryptonite inside so Superman is kinda affected by it.
So now time to call in the Justice League, yeah say what now? Ok, this isn’t a Lego Batman game this is a Lego Justice League game.
Anyways y’all defeat the robot who decides to climb up Wayne’s tower because Lex despises Wayne, so after u defeat the robot by crashing it off the tower and it crashes on the floor, u have to finish it and get Lex and Joker out of it.
To arrest them, anyway day is saved with the help of the Justice League, heck even Batman admits he had help and needed help. That’s called character development.
Anyway game ends with a tease of Braniac wanting to come down to earth to rule it, anyways the end. Hope y’all enjoyed this review.
Also here are the full cutscenes of the game.
Till next time, got more related reviews coming up.
