Astro Bot: Let’s start by showing y’all the trailers shall we?

That’s right folks today we’re talking about this recent iconic mascot for Sony, stay for the fun and feel the sensation from ur PS5 remote.

Side note I won’t be doing a spoiler section because this game doesn’t have a story. The second game has a story while this game feels like a demo.

So what is this game? So essentially u are a robot named Astro Bot, ur hub world is inside a PS5 system.

U have to go through the 4 different system circuits and beat each level, retrieve puzzle pieces, find Playstation artifacts then bring them back to your hub world to add to the collection.

Yes, u heard that right, Essentially this game is a love letter to the old Playstation era by having u discover and gather old Playstation objects and find Bots dressed in Playstation character outfits.

Now it’s time to talk about the best part of this game, the dual sense controller.

U can feel every sensation on the dual pad sense on ur control, down to u feeling the vibration in the remote when pulling an object, hearing the tiny footsteps from the robot within in remote dual sense.

Also to blow windmills to get things to move u have to blow into ur remote, this game is truly next-gen gaming.

The one thing this game does differently is when u go into a match, u come in flying on a PS5 remote controller spaceship, now that’s just cool.

Now let’s get the rating out of the way, overall yeah I highly recommend this game especially if u have a PS5, I know this game can just be seen as a mascot game but plz give it a chance.

Just in, here’s an update. Just went back into the game and they seemed to have added new Bots u can save, there’s a total of 301 u save but now there are 318 Bots to save in total.

Yikes, plus they added da Christmas themed planet, that’s really sweet. Along with new cosmetics for ur ship and character to unlock.

BTW I do have one gripe with this game, if u want to get 100%, I don’t recommend it unless ur some sorta expert. For u see each planet gives u these mini missions that are based around the

Button shapes on the Playstation which consist of

Triangle

Square

These missions suck, they toss at u multiple threats and obstacles u have to get past while parkouring to get to the Bot to save them, oh, and if u die u respawn at the start of the missions.

Don’t worry only took me 2 and a half hours to get past one of those! Yeah, dare to say I wanted to rip my hair out.

So I’m gonna give Astro Bot a solid 9/10, I hope y’all enjoyed this review, till next time.

Oh silly me I forgot to mention the spoilers, ok warning spoilers ahead y’all been warned ⚠️.

So once u save 200 Bots which u will need to progress to the last mission, y’all fly into space on different consoles to catch up against the alien threat, u have to fight them while they attack u while ur on top of your ship.

After the fighting ends and trust me there’s a few stages to this fight, u end up defeating the alien threat and now u can free roam to your heart’s content.
